OH has just messaged me to tell me he's planning his own stag do and its just going to be paintballing and a few drinks (happy with all of that have always said to him he can do whatever he likes!) A few months ago I was having an in depth conversation via book face with his Best Man and he seemed really in to getting things sorted for his stag do - I don't mind OH doing it but he's absolutely useless to the point where I more or less do everything, run it past him and he gives me the money for it. Anyway he had all these ideas and all this enthusiasm for it - I now find out they actually haven't spoken to each other for about 4 weeks now when I get a call from BM wife asking if he is in fact still best man......! I've now got this worried picture in my head that I cannot do the stag do as well as everything else but at the same time I don't want him not to have 1. Tried to speak to OH but all he's said is not to worry things will be fine and he'll sort it but I cant help but think 'oh god not something else'!!
Ahhh I'm feeling a bit better now I've thrashed this all out on my keyboard!! haha xx

Kayleigh tell your OH to call his BM and sort it out between them its mad that they haven't spoken when they are that close..
It will sort itself out but you shouldn't have to arrange it. either way he needs to speak to his BM before the wedding so why not now :)

^^ Beat me to it! They can talk it out and even sort the stag between them. It doesnt HAVE to be the BM who sorts the stag do alone. I know of a few grooms this year that have given a helping hand with their stags. Theyve preferred helping out and having an idea of whats going on

I'd tell your OH to speak to his BM as soon as poss! The BM might think he is responsible for planning the stag so you don't want them to duplicate plans - men are so relaxed about this sort of stuff! You shouldn't need to step in and plan anything though, let them get on with it. It will all come together eventually just sometimes takes men a little longer lol xx

My partner hasn't even chosen a best man yet so I feel your pain; I'm sure they'll sort IT out before the wedding but I'd tell h it's stressing you out thinking of it so can he just sort things out for your sake x

Agree with the other ladies get him onto his BM and don't stress like Lala says if he doesn't pull the finger out then he wont have a stag lol

Ah its just such an annoyance probably doesn't help the mood I'm in today either lol!!
OH is happy to do it/help hes just shut himself down in regards of talking to his BM - I've already stepped in once with them 2 and sorted it out their just so 'blah' about it all and doesn't seem to care lol!! Bloody men haha! He even got that irritated about the whole thing he said he wouldn't even have 1 - I swear men are worse then women sometimes! xx

I don't think it's important for the BM/MOH to arrange stag/hen dos. I would much rather arrange my own. Having said that, it isn't fair for you to have to arrange it.

Well I spoke to OH last night and basically gave him what for - he's contacted his BM for a meet up to fix things and has started looking at prices for paint balling etc. I'm not impressed yet as we'll see if it lasts or if it soon fades out lol!! xx

Haha what are men like Kayleigh! My OH will be lucky if he gets a stag, he doesn't have many friends so will mainly be the men in the family xx
