I hope it all goes well Emma. Separated parents can be really spiteful to each other and use their children as a way to get at each other, rather than having the child's best interests at heart. I've seen times when a child has been removed from a home where they were really happy because one parent didn't want the other parent to win. I'm sure the judge will see that it is important for the LO to have a good relationship with both parents, and if the mother tries to stop him attending the wedding it is clearly an act of spite.

I know IDL. My parents in law have seen straight through. They also reckon that it's partly because the youngest is now in nursery and she has no good reason not to get a job, which she doesn't want to do. That may be too cynical though. In some ways I feel bad for her, it's like that's the only thing she knows how to do and even that doesn't really seem to make her happy, like I say she always moans about the kids misbehaving or waking in the night (the middle one didn't sleep through until he was six, the youngest still doesn't). It's almost like she forgets that they don't stay babies and they are actually hard work. Her background is similar though, whenever her parents hit a rough patch in the relationship they had a child to bring them back together. She then spent most of her teenage years looking after her younger siblings. She's not great with kids either, she yells at them when they're naughty and pays limited attention the rest of the time, then wonders why they play up. She also gives in to tears really quickly, and then wonders why her youngest screams all the time. The worry is that you get stuck in a cycle, she was raised that way so she's raising her kids that way. I hope they marry sensible girls, as they're lovely boys. BIL (actually husband's foster brother but considered part of the family) is very sensible and great with the kids, but he does what he's told as he's very mild mannered. I just hope she's not going to be someone that keeps going regardless of how many tries it takes to have a girl. BIL was going to have the snip after number three and delayed, presumably because his wife said so, but I really hope he puts his foot down this time. I saw a documentary on a women with eight sons, who spent a fortune on treatment to implant only female embryos, which then didn't take. I know I'd love to have a mix of genders but all I really care about is having healthy children. What could happen of course is what happened to hubby's piano teacher. They had three girls and decided to have one more try for a boy before the husband got the snip. They got triplet boys!

Grabbed a shower whilst Freddie was having a nap, came down to find him wide awake, not sure how long he'd been awake but he'd not been bothered waking up to nobody there.

Never got laundry detergent yesterday doh! Got to head out in a ticko and get some, quite a nice day as well. If I had got it yesterday I could have it on the line by now. Grrr

Morning all. Shattered. Didn't sleep again. Spent most of the night lying there awake. OH walked in the room at half 6 and I was shocked what time it was! :(

I said to hubby this morning that I wish I could go to sleep at night and stay that way until the morning. I swear when he goes off that's him until the morning.

Last year I was in the supermarket, they announced about a minute prior that they would be doing a two mins silence in a manager told the checkout assisstants that if people wanted serving still to keep going, so at 11am when it started everyone stopped dead, the tills stopped beeping, people just stood in the aisles and did move, all except this woman who was putting her shopping on the checkout, chatting away really loud with her friend, people were looking at her, she looked up and said oh everyone is quiet.

That's good that they did that GF. I would imagine a lot of big retail stores wouldn't do it.

I didn't give my boss a chance. Told him id set an alarm for 10:55 and that I would be doing it.

Right, I am off into town to get laundry stuff, then back to do more laundry, got loads to do and want it done so that Friday when th kids come home from school I can start doing their school uniform seeing as working nights all weekend.

I thought Mrs Deaton's dress was lovely she looked gorgeous it so suits her.

We always observe the 2 minute silence and ignore the phones if they go as well.

I should be hearing from the bridal shop about my dress very soon... they said it should be in November time when I ordered it. Feeling quite scared!

Even Freddie was good and took part in the two minute silence. He was asleep mind. I've known the buses in the past to stop and take part in it. They never today. They were still going up and down the road.

2 minute silence done. Got 12 yo off today she came home from school yesterday and hogged the loo being sick as soon as she got in bless her and has a migraine today.

Think I've missed something here - what's been going on Sarah?

Just took 10 minutes out to book my sister's 30th birthday treat end of January, been meaning to do it for ages, thought I had better make that call before they get booked up. So excited.

We're going to Th3 D0rch35t3r for the spa and afternoon tea.

I will give her a gift card that morning on our way there, I'm going to have to tell her it's a spa so that she packs her bikini but she won't know until we're on the tube where. Mum's coming too. I'll be getting mum a gift voucher for her treatment for her birthday next month so that she doesn't have to pay for it.

I'm off work still floss and I received a letter on Friday to say they have received information that I am working while off sick! Which is not true at all and I have to go in and be questioned. What makes me angry is they have told me it's someone in there that's told them this and when I return I need to go back and work beside someone who's went out there way to cause me more stress, I have my guesses on who it is and if I ever find out for def who it is I'll make sure they know how they've made me feel! It's ridiculous

I've also been told in the letter to read my handbook about disciplinary proceedings so makes me think they've made there mind up before I even get a say! So sneaky and made me feel awful I've not slept for days and I've also suffered a death in the family yesterday so I'm just very down with it all xx

What a spiteful thing for someone to do! Would it be someone who knows you are looking to go into childminding?

Sarah, that said person will get karma full on one day, sorry to hear of the loss you've had as well. You need this meeting like a hole in the head really.

I'm a worrier too so I can imagine how you're feeling, it will be over and done with soon though and at least you will know where you stand as opposed to playing the guessing game or thinking of 'what ifs'. If they've already made their decision then that's their loss and your gain really as you can get out of there even quicker and make a start on creating your future. Great news about the funding - silver lining :) xx

Freddie eventually woke up, he had a really good sleep, had some milk and is now playing on the floor with his toys laughing at them.

Dinner is smelling wonderful.

I've been good today so far and drank more water. Usually I will have at least three of my 600mls bottle full up, but lately I've not, managed two so far, once it starts going through I can see me being up to th toilet every 5 mins.

Need to get lunch sorted out for myself and Freddie in a bit.

Meeting my mum for lunch at 1, not sure what I'm fancying.
