Been out to netball tonight and have come to the conclusion I'm going to have to quit. I've played for over 10 years and been on this team about 8 of those but since the accident I've played about three games and in all three the teams think it's acceptable to try and injure my back to get me off the court because they know I'm the best shooter on the team and without me on the court they've got more chance of securing a win.

The team we played tonight were a total disgrace. The centre took my 16 year old sister out on several occasions then moved on to jumping on me yet I got pulled for contact on her!? The gk was absolutely VILE mum was playing against her and she was pushing her, wrapping her legs around her, and nearly taking her head off with her arms. Then again moved on to me and as I had jumped to catch the ball she came hurtling into the back of me at full speed literally belly bouncing me off her and straight away I knew she'd seriously hurt my back again. There were 4 players all being ridiculously rough when we're a nice team and then when we got totally sick of taking a beating they said God they have no sense of humour at all. Sorry what. The ironic thing is is they play for the local hospital and the gk used to be my netball coach at primary school!

Becci that really does sound like an awfully behave netball team. Even at school I hated netball and tried to stay out of the way as much as possible. I remember how much it hurts if you catch the ball badly and it hits the tips of your fingers. At the very least you need to take a break for a while.

News has come from hubby's brother and SIL, they're expecting number four. I haven't had the normal excited reaction to this, none of us have. They were 17 and 15 when they're first son was born, and it was no accident. She wanted a baby and wouldn't wait. Then she moaned anytime she had to do anything that wasn't convenient. They married when the son was seven, and got a small two bed flat. Then she got pregnant with another boy. This was good, they were at the right stage, although it meant the two boys sharing a room. Then with no possibility of upsizing they had a third, as she is desperate for a girl. By this point a lad of 15 was having to share with his brother ten years his junior with nowhere quiet to do homework, and another little boy arrived to share the same room. They had said regardless of gender that number three would be it. The mum spends so much time on book face moaning about the younger boys, she only really likes babies not older ones that cause trouble, and she hates the sleepless nights. She has just been celebrating the youngest going to nursery so she has time to herself. However she is at least two months pregnant. The timing suggests she conceived shortly after we announced our pregnancy, and I think there is a mixture of wanting a girl, being jealous of me being pregnant, and not knowing what to do with herself other than have babies. It's sad really, she's never had s job and I don't think she realises that she could hold down a job. She is from an area of very low aspiration where girls marry and have kids and that's it. I do feel for the eldest, who is now in sixth form and has little boys pestering him. They have at least moved to a three bed house now, and he has his own room, but they are going to go back to three boys in a room, or the eldest will lose his room again. He's desperate to have enough money to leave home already. It is so frustrating, the mum knows what she wants and gets it, without thinking of the impact on others. It really doesn't seem fair on the other boys. I'm also a big miffed, it's my first and I've waited a long time, but it feels like she's stolen my thunder. I know it's my first and is s bigger deal, and on my side of the family I'm the only one expecting, but I wish she could have waited until April to conceive. It would be different with someone having their first, but they really aren't in a position to have a fourth, and she's only done it because I'm pregnant. I know it's not their intention to steal thunder though.

I've got to the station 15 minutes early for my train but rather be early than late. By lunch today I should know whether I still have a job and if so if it's what I want to do as opposed to being shoved back in ops. Just want to get it over with and done - at least then I can start looking for jobs if it's bad news.

Put my nice suit on for the first time since the crash and last time I wore it I had to safety pin the waist band area in about 2 inches and since I can't run it appears my backside has inflated to its usual fat size as they're now snug fitting again.. I REALLY NEED TO RUN.

I'm hoping one day I just wake up and all this bad luck is going to be in the past!

Took me ages to get to sleep last night and I struggled to get up this morning.

Out for tea with my sister tonight as its her birthday on Friday but she's away.....

It shouldn't be a late one or expensive as its a local pub/restaurant up the road.

Can't believe it's Wednesday already!! On Saturday I'm going to meet OHs son for the first time!!! I'm really nervous.

It's the contact session where he can take him out for 2 hours so we are going into the local shopping centre to make personalised teddies. I fear he won't like me lol.... Silly isn't it?!

Yes hopefully, if we can get it in the contact order.... It shouldn't be a problem but she's spiteful so would try and stop us....

I am excited but very nervous too. Kids don't hold back do they and I want him to like me as the others do.... He's only 4 and so it's gonna be really strange for him. Poor little man xx

I don't know why mothers have to be so spiteful.

His mum will no doubt have filled his head with trash but when he sees you for himself 4 should be a decent age for him to make his own judgement fingers crossed :)

The advantage is, he is young enough to get used to me..... If he was older, I think it would be harder.

Hopefully..... We have 3 sessions now where he can go out for 2 hrs rather than be in the centre and we are back in court on the 1st December so I'm hoping we get the order put in place. We are wanting every other weekend Fri to Sunday and then alternate Xmas/new year, 2 week in the holidays etc etc

I can't see it not being actioned as she has proved that her made up none sense is just that!!

Morning all.

Even though I kept waking up in the night loads, the sleep I had was good, but still, did not want to remove myself from my bed this morning.

Freddie will be around again soon, if it stays dry I may get out with him down the seafront later on.

I'm really struggling this morning. Just wasn't tired last night so slept late and now paying for it this morning.

EC, I'm sure if you can see through her and have the thoughts you're having about them and their situation then I'm sure most others secretly are too. I can understand why you're annoyed but believe me, people will be saying some nasty things behind her back and closed doors. Just focus on yourself and know you are doing things the right way.
