Wedding Forum - GENERAL CHINWAG THREAD w/c 7th December...

Hi all! Sorry not been on for a few months; when life decides to get in the way it really does for J and I, it seems, lol!

So, we're no longer either of us working at the care home - they just stopped calling us for shifts around July, no real explanation even when we went in and asked in person. So we signed on with a few recruitment agencies, and now J works in a supermarket distribution centre and I work several days a week at a subscription management company.

I also volunteer a few hours each week at a local carers charity - just answering the phones, transferring calls, taking the occasional booking for courses offered.

Wedding planning has been going pretty well though, despite the craziness.

Missing you all, hope to be a bit more active here soon (especially after Xmas and New Year!) xx

I don't know. Over the last few months they have been distancing themselves from me more and more so I don't know why. His sister has always been a br@t so that's nothing new. The only difference is I didn't let her get her own way and she isn't a BM any more. But we spoke to his mom about that and she was ok with it then just not when it happened.

I have had a cold since last Saturday and normally I take tablets and shift things quickly but with all this going on it's just lingering for ages and not shifting.

I'm feeling really tired at the moment too. You'd think I'd sleep well being tired but I haven't slept well for the past 3 or 4 nights now. Starting taking my multi vitamin and iron tablets again this morning, see if that gives me a bit of boost. Sometimes I do wonder is it normal to feel this tired all the time - is it just called being an adult?!

I take a multi vit with iron and omega 3 daily, I feel it does help as my immune system is pretty good. Hubby is forever getting colds, he's borderline high cholesterol and I've told him numerous times to take a multi vit and omega as well daily. He does not! He's just getting over a cold at the moment, had one a couple of months ago as well but told everyone then he had flu! I said that's not flu, it's a cold!

I think the omega 3 really helps with my heart rate and BP, I have a low heart rate, and if my HR rises it goes back within a minute to resting rate. On our observation chart at work, if I was being plotted, my HR would forever be triggering a warning, but it's normal for me,

I'm going to take her shopping now so that I can then come back and grab a nap before the kids are back. Seriously hope the GP can help hubby with the snoring

I e never been able to eat a whole one, I've seen Some do it but the thought of eating the core makes me gag.

OH has those ones Flossie, the mens ones. I take a standard multi vit from the pharmacy.

Flossie hate to say this but I eat the whole thing always have done my hubby just looks in amazement when I do it I think if I remember rightly my dad used to as well

Yeah it's just the texture that I think would seem weird!

I couldn't eat all of it, it makes me feel a bit funny even when I go too low that I can see the seeds never mind eating them haha.

Called home to see how OH was getting on sorting our stuff and hes still in the bedroom and not answering his mobile. Bet hes asleep. I get that its been really tough emotionally but we won't be able to get on with life until everything is sorted and we have bought all his stuff back from his house. I'll end up doing it all :(

We have been getting it cheap for the last few weeks. Most places here are max 103.99p. Yesterday I got petrol for 101.99p and OH has been getting it for 99.99p on his way home from work. That's all at supermarkets too so we have already seen it.

Wow ours hasn't been that high is months

I thought it was the same everywhere but yeah it probably is, I think it's been about 1.02/ 1.03 here for a few weeks

I'm not long home went to the gym then had a half hour swim. Feel very refreshed now

Need to sit down tonight and go through paperwork for tomorrow and then cleaning so not much else to do right now but watch cake boss with a cuppy its bliss xx

Posted about the petrol earlier on as well when I heard it on the breakfast show

I'm going for a swim then sauna after work, love swimming always feel so refreshed afterwards.

I was going to go in the sauna too but h2b was in the gym still and I didn't want to be keeping him waiting to long on me as still had to shower and wash and dry hair too

It's sooooo windy here heard were meant to be battered with wind again not looking forward to that xx

Decided to work from home this PM. Have a few things to catch up and can do them from here, rather than sit in the office until 5pm and then spend over an hour trying to get through rush hour. OH out at meetings today and says he has some interesting thoughts about our future - wouldn't say any more so curious to see what he is thinking....!!!!!

I had a short snooze before the kids got back, needed it to just make the rest of the day. Descaling the kettle at the mo, normally I leave it until it is too bad but catching it early this time. Think thenjanuary sales migh call for a new one though as this one is still good but around the lid is starting to rust a little,
