Morning ladies, well we are here again.... Monday morning!
Busy week at work this week due to sending Christmas merchandise out!
OH is at the solicitors this morning to sort his statement out for court next month.....
Sorted 3/4 kids Christmas presents out now. Just got my LO to buy for then we are done yipeeeee!
Just getting a bottle of wine for the parents or beer as a gesture rather than nothing at all x

With working Saturday I don't feel like I've had a weekend :(
I'm interviewing all day today too!
I'm struggling to know what to buy this year- me and sis have got dad sorted and bought waaayyyy goo much as usual! Lol I've bought sisters and a couple of small bits for OH but need to buy his main and then not a clue what to get sisters bf or OHs mum dad and sister.
Had a couple of emails from retailers telling me it's manis Monday sales today! Wtf are they just making up a new name for everyday? Must be desperate to get ppl to shop as I never remember this many sales before Xmas, used to be the traditional Boxing Day sale- at this rate won't need one

Monday again where is the time going.
I have had a terrible sleep I think I've had 3 hours at most, had so much on my mind with sorting out my new business you really need a thick skin and I'm learning early lol on the plus side I have one place confirmed for a baby starting in my care 12th Jan and I've had to turn someone else away as both the children were under 1 and my registration allows me to care for one chid under 1. Felt so terrible letting them down but mums work were not giving her the days she required and wanted her to work weekend and I worried she might tell them she wont be back to work and look elsewhere for work but I couldn't hold on for that to be let down last min and then the other family had found alternative care.
It's good that you have children registering already but a shame you have to turn some away. Have you got an assistant that could help with numbers? I'm not 100% what the ratio is nowadays as I've been out of childcare for a good few years but I thought it was 1:2 with babies? Saying that, I bet that's if there are no other children
1:4 toddlers 1:6 pre schoolers
I'm a qualified nursery nurse but as I say, I left that field in 2004 as the money just wasn't enough at the time

Morning, Didn't sleep well last night. Hope things pick up. Wrote a letter to mil saying about how I feel about being in the house and their feelings towards me and that I want things to be sorted out. Fingers crossed it either shakes her up to speak to me normally again, She will explain why she hates me, She will tell me never to speak to her again which I said to OH I will do as the situation is bad for my health at the moment so if she isn't willing to make an effort I'm not making myself ill over it.
In work early today. was here about 7.15. hope to get a crack on with some bits and pieces.

Well, It was booked for 7pm, so we left early to get there arrived at 6:40 and had a wonder around the surrounding areas. Although we know the area we have never actually been there and considered could we live here. Its lovely and there's a new small shopping complex (only with a chip shop, hair dressers etc but it is still nice). Got back to the house at 6:55 and no one answered the door. stood outside for a while and tried again. Nothing. So sat in the car until half past and tried again. Nothing.
The house does look lovely though. Very well kept and all the houses nearby look like they are looked after too. Just disappointing we couldn't get in!

Hubby has annoyed me a little, he put some of the rent money in my account, he never tells me either, anyhoo, I asked him the other day if he'd done it and he said yes but not all of it as it was all he had. It needed paying so I had to take £200 out of my money to pay the rent,I said to him when you going to get the rest as I've made myself short now for the rest of the month, he said he was getting his money sorted yesterday, still nothing. Would not be as bad if i was not the one doing all the Xmas shopping

We're not sure about the show home now Emma. For the area it is very expensive looking at whats on the market at the moment. So although it would be lovely to have a new home and they are lovely houses just not convinced its worth the money if we wont be able to get it back. This was a second hand one but a recent development. last 5 years, 10 years max. So will be a similar style to the new houses.

Sorry was a bit busy Emma because I'm a childminder the ratios are different to a nursery, I can have 3 under 5 but only one of those can be under 1, then 3 over 5 up to age 16 for before/after school

Working from home today and mum said her new table is arriving today so she's asked if I'll sit in here and work until it comes ... Gives me some space as oh appears to have the week off as holiday again!?
Had an email through from mum about our netball Christmas party meal choices that everyone agreed a date of 19th which is a Saturday but the email subject said 18th December Christmas party ... I'm in Aberdeen on the 18th and my train doesn't get home until 8pm so either the woman organising it has mucked up or the venue has mucked up .. Or the venue may have just put the wrong date in the subject. If it's the Friday regardless of who's at fault I want my money back but can't see that happening! Luckily mum can't do the Friday either so she's speaking to the woman who organised it to find out what she's done

She likes this J0hn Ch@rl3s one (just not the price lol), so maybe something like this. She did originally find a dress from China that she loved but didn't want to order from China, hence getting a dressmaker to remake it, but I'm not sure if she still likes that one now. She did originally want a dusky pink colour but since MIL has chosen her dress in a baby pink she's gone off that idea and now wants a colour like the below.

No she hasn't, but she has worn dresses like before, it's very "her". Whenever my dress comes in she might have a try on of some MOB outfits whilst we're there - that dress is stocked in the bridal store. I doubt the dressmaker will get working on the dress straight away so she'll still have a bit of time to decide 100%, I think the appointment tonight will be more about discussing ideas.

Emily, he never buys Xmas gifts, I buy them all. Just that amount of money is a lot to miss, it can pay my catalogue bill with so,e left over. And now, because I have paid it, I doubt he will think about giving I back to me, yet when I got a flat tyre recently, he gave me the £40 needed to get it, and when he paid the rent after that, he took that money off. I will have to get it back from him in order to pay some bills.

And the massage was lush. She said I had so many knots on my right shoulder which was the one I'd been having trouble with, also was not until last night when someone else said that it was probs down to something that happened at work recently. My own fault, something I shouldn't have done, but in the situation it had to be done.
