Well, looks like the loo's gone again - woke up to hearing J's mum talking with a plumber about it all... :( He could be here most of the day and there's no guarantee it can be sorted today, but bless him he's going to try!
Still, must keep positive: I'll wait for John to get up, and then we can head to town for the market; then it's back here and on with more projects!
There is more redundancies and we will know today who is going, my colleague who I sit next to asked for redundancy on Monday before this was announced so she has been given it. They said they will tell us if we are safe but nothing has been said yet!

She has taken gardening leave and asked for it on Monday but everybody else just left straight away once they were told. I don't think I'd be working the 30 days notice though I'd just want out xx

I'd definitely want gardening leave! Due to my job and the sensitive documents I have access to, if I was asked to leave for any reason I would be put on gardening leave anyway. Not bad getting paid for doing nothing!

I think I would be expected to work the 30 days notice but I don't think I'd want tom, you still get full pay so why not get it from home lol x

That's why things got funny when my colleague left. He was put on gardening leave but my boss wasn't happy that he was getting paid to sit at home doing nothing so he tried making use of him whilst he was still technically with the company, but they also took his laptop and his mobile off him so there is only so much you can do!

Yeah I suppose that's the problem they may still expect you to do something! My colleague was told to go on it as she doesn't have much to do at the moment so there was no point her being here! x

Ive just had my lunch! I was staving, enjoy lunch with your mum flossie :)
We had redundancy a few weeks ago and they all got put on gardening leave for a week and were told they wouldn't have to work their notice but were going to be paid for it xx

I am so hacked off, can see the sale of the house falling through now I am so mad at the city council.
We put in ation doors 5 years ago now but because the window company didn't put a date on the invoice it was rejected we then applied for retrospective planning permission however the lady dealing with it said on monday she hadn't received the information that we submitted today we get a letter to say the application is incomplete as information that we submitted previously is missing. I am now waiting on someone else phoning me back to tell me what needs to be done, I am totally stressed out with it that its making me ill. we are supposed to be moving out 31.7.15 2 weeks before the wedding but can see it being august before that happens to give us time to sort it all out. im at my wits end.
its ruined a good day me and ds were having we met one of my friends for tea and hot chocolate then we done some shopping for his holiday and new school uniform to come home to the letter :(

Emma, we bought Oscar a toy from P3ts @ H0m3 the other month and it is the best toy we have ever bought him! It is literally undestroyable and that's saying something as Oscar can destroy anything! It's either a strawberry or a raspberry, I'm not sure what it's actually supposed to be, but he just sits there chewing and playing with it for hours on end xx

The only one he can't destroy is his kong! I'll have to have a look in p3ts @ h0m3, managed to get him a few things but no doubt he will get through them! They should last longer than the others though! x

It is brilliant, he can't even make any teeth marks in it! He gets quite annoyed because he can't really work out what he's meant to do with it if he can't eat it haha, keeps him entertained though! x

My day's not been too bad to be fair. There has been lots going on since I got back from lunch, which on the one hand is good because it makes the time go quicker but on the other it's annoying as it's stopped me from doing what I actually intended to do this afternoon!
Boss is stressing me out too. He asked for me to send him a flowchart of our complaints procedure, so I did. He said nope, that's not the one. So I tried a different one, but nope that's not it either. It might help if he actually described to me exactly what he wanted instead of writing vague short emails!!

Afternoon ladies took LO in to town and he was absolutely brilliant. I thought we would be back for dinner but thought sod it as he's been good I'll treat him. So got him his fave jacket potato and beans and he ate it all bless him. Was so nice just having 'us' time. We got home about 1.45. Got OH a t shirt and 2 pairs of shorts for his birthday. Bought a few bits from prim@rk for myself and that's about it :)
Booked in to do 2 workout classes straight after one another tomorrow. Think I'll be regretting it Friday but needs must lol x

Well, it's been tipping it down on and off since J and I were in town this morning - luckily we missed the worst of it walking home, the heavens opened just as we got in the door!
Plumber's gone, sounds like the pipes were in a right state - according to J's dad, the whole setup in there is about 60 years old!! O.o But they're going to have it all redone, possibly this weekend (which makes me actually a little glad to have a shift on Saturday!)

I decided that I would do mash, washed up some dishes from this morning that I could not be bothered to do this morning, out the bins out,
Tonight I shall not be wearing the dress I wore last night to work. It's a jersey skater dress and so nice and floaty to put on after a shift, last night and this morning though it was blowy and I had to hold it tight in order for it not to blow up!
