So hungry, time for lunch me thinks! Got a chicken salad and onion and chive cream cheese bagel today, then a banana, 2 plums and a pot of strawberries, grapes and cherries.

Ordered raspberries with shopping which was collected on Saturday, they said they were 'best before' today but OH opened them this morning and they had gone mouldy! Was looking forward to those!

I hate not being able to pick my own fruit and veg as they tend to go for the short dated stuff on orders.

We are normally able to eat things way past the 'best before' date, I was quite shocked they had already gone mouldy. Requested a refund - they were only £1.50 but that's not the point haha.

I would rather pick my own fruit and veg but I also hate going to the actual shop to do the shopping.. I have trolley rage! And always end up spending more than I need to. I just prefer online shopping as I can keep an eye on how much I'm spending and am able to budget better that way!

I might actually just order everything else from now on and then do a separate fruit and veg shop. We go to collect the shopping anyway as opposed to having it delivered so could just pop into @sd@ beforehand to pick up fruit and veggies x

@ld! don't quite do click or collect or home delivery!!! HAHA!! Most of their veggies last a good week, carrots much longer, but sometimes you can get some that last hardly any time at all.

I did go through a phase of getting the shopping from @ldi but always found there was not a huge choice so decided to go back to @sd@. We have a new @ldi opening 2 mins down the road soon so might pop there for fruit and veggies when it opens up.

That is the problem Flossie, I try to differ the meals about each week, but like you say, there is not a huge amount of choice.

Yuck! Always gross when you discover a mouldy item of food! For me it's normally onions that have been buried in the fridge drawers for a good while haha.

I'm a waster when it comes to food.... When OH Is home at a weekend we buy food but I don't eat it through the week and he always moans at me as I throw so much away!!

I bet I throw 3/4 of a loaf of bread away each week.... I'm naughty lol

I was throwing food away the other week when I was doing some lates, hubby would do takeaway for the kids, so some of the veg I gave to the bunnies as it was ok for them.

We buy the bare minimum we need so we don't end up throwing much away. Just buy exactly what we need x

been mental here again this morning phones haven't stopped....

Busy day. ...................had a tough workout this morning, back and had a quick shower, took in the 0c@d0 delivery and put away, had lunch and cleaned kitchen, family bathroom and ensuite bathroom all cleaned, just put bleach down downstairs wc so will clean that very soon. Also done the laundry and put the dishwasher on. Once downstairs wc is cleaned I can properly try and recover from the weekend.

It's my daughter's birthday on Thursday and she wants to have party food, I might see if she wants a BBQ as meant to be a nice evening. Will order stuff from the orange supermarket for delivery as I finish Thursday morning.

Still not used our new BBQ.

We normally go out for meals but she asked for path stuff.
