It's Monday and I feel really good for once, did have an extra 5 mins in bed haha.

Need to get valentines planned...I always leave it last minute oops

Slept awful last night, feel like a zombie today. And to cheer me up I get to do the food shop after work - yay!!!!

How's everyone?

I had a really good sleep today even though I was awake too early, it was a deep sleep. How I managed to get through last night I do not know, but I did.

Evening everyone. Got in from work at 7:25pm. Only just sitting down to cup of tea now waiting for dinner to be ready. Can't rely on hubby to do things right so had to take over. He just didn't wash things properly before cooking.

I'm exhausted from work. I need a change but just in bad frame of mind for it. Feel like lots of things in life need changing.

Well I survived my first day back at work after a wonderful week away in Madeira.
Feels like I've never been away.

Glad you had a good time Maxine. I too was off last week so first day back for me also. 600 emails and meetings galore! I'm already feeling like I've been back for a month and still not caught up on everything. This is why i don't take long annual leave, last time i took a lomg break it literally took me 6 months and getting very ill to catch up. I dont want that again so now dont take more than a week and a half off. Mainly only do a week to minmiae the stress i come back to but I still get mega stressed.

I really wanted to keep hitting snooze this morning, just didn't want to get out of bed at all.

Thinking we might have to rip the grass up in the back garden and relay it after sorting out underneath its get so water logged :(

Morning, Didn't get on yesterday. Worst day ever. Got to work and my colleague was off sick so i had 2 people work to do all day and ended up skipping lunch. Stole 5 mins to call OH and said I don't care if it's unhealthy I need to have something to eat on the table when I walk in the door. He had put a kiev in the oven but it wasn't cooked properly. I was fuming. we have 15 mins max before we have to leave for cubs so I didn't have chance to have anything else. We ended up getting a chinese at 10pm after our meeting. the first thing i ate all day. I feel so bad it was unhealthy but at the same time I wasn't going to cook at that time..

Hopefully today will be better. Went for a swim this morning and 100% taking a break today so will have something decent.

I'm exhausted. Had to leave home at 6:15am this morning to get to meeting elsewhere in the country. Still on way home now and left at 3pm.

OH off to football- think I might do feta stuffed peppers for dinner with cous cous

Yayyy nights finished. Had to do grocery shopping on the way home, then came in to last nights dishes still on the draining board and another bowl full of cups etc. Needless to say I was unhappy about this. Sorted that out, put the shopping away and just browsing on here before heading off to bed for a bit.

It was knackering that journey home.

Hope everyone's day today was better than yesterday.

I'm going out for an Indian tonight. Banquet night so great deal at my fave Indian restaurant! Really looking forward to dinner out with the hubby, bit of a treat going out for dinner on a school night x

Morning. Woke up to OH alarm. Regret it already. Will be knackered later. Going for a swim today and then to in laws tonight.

Trying to work through a list of to do's today need to get it done before the end of the week. SW tonight and then hopefully some parcels will arrive today with some craft stuff in so I can make some things over the weekend.

Morning all, not a lot happening today as O/H is in bed as he works nights

Been for lunch with my mum, was so yum but I'm so stuffed now! The pub we go to gives you really generous portions. I had chicken breast stuffed with cream cheese, chorizo and spinach and wrapped in bacon, with sweet potato fries and home made coleslaw. I was going to try and stay healthy, but it really hit the spot! Salmon, potatoes and veggies for dinner tonight.

Does anyone else not do anything for Valentine's Day? To me it's a commercial waste of time, I love OH more than to the moon and back, so why have just 1 day to celebrate? I just don't get it- people at work are like what are you doing/buying/going away- I'm like we're not- every night we make sure we sit at the table, enjoy a home cooked meal and talk about life and the day :-)

We don't usually do much for V day. As I'll be on mat leave this year hubby has booked the day off too - although we'll probably be doing housework, hopefully go out for lunch though :)

I forgot its half term for some schools next week so that's my Valentine day plan gone out the window and need to back to the drawing board. I normally cook us both a lovely three course meal so I have that planned at least.

We don't really do much for V day either. We did go out for a meal last year but it was only a few months before we got married so we wanted to mark the occasion as our last "single" Valentine's day, lol. Nothing planned for this year - we'll probably just get a takeaway and stay at home or I'll make us a nice meal as I have the day off so I can be in for our sofa delivery (exciting!). We don't do gifts either, just cards.
