    Morning all.

The not eating is because he was told he was obese. He said she was not worried about him getting type 2 diabetes. I said sorry but you should be with a blood sugar the higher end of normal (and most likely had not eaten prior). He's being totally childish yet he won't see it and will try and turn everything around so it is my fault. He won't be able to say sorry I was an idiot. Had enough of it. For example, I have told him to be the bigger person and get hold of his 'friend' he has not spoken to since the summer, he won't though, he will try and sweep it under the carpet and wait for someone else to sort it out for him. When all the trouble kicked off with his kids, it was me telling him to talk to them, he would not make the first move, only after I had gone on and on at him, by then one of them turned round and said you cannot expect us to not speak for 6 weeks and then suddenly text us like nothing is wrong! That is very true.

    Morning ladies

I feel like I've been neglecting you all but really have been so busy and ive missed so much on here!

Thanks Michelle our main concern was also stepson and we pointed out that it was to be said that his mental Health was our worry of the poisoning by his mum this is bound to have a major affect! So sad but some women are just down right evil and she wants her on and off partner to play daddy to him, this same partner who chats to a friend of mine on a dating website so we can see that this is a stable environment for the child too! Some women get away with murder and this needs to change.

How is everyone today? It's still pouring here and very windy! I had a terrible sleep too and woke up at one point freezing which is unusual for me as I've never wakened cold! Think I may pop in town today I have over £200 pounds of Xmas money still to spend and I said I'd take my sis for lunch just need to get her out of her bed xx

Joanna, I've told him that, his dad has type 2, he just won't do it. Today he got up and had breakfast, that will last for s little while, then go back to not eating, going to work, not eating, coming home, shuffling anything he can find in his mouth, then have dinner, he's a typical ignorer thinking things will change.

I've just realised how unfit I am. Got my 30ds out, done workout one and struggled, I used to be able to do level three easy,

    Morning all.

Flossie, great that you are doing it together. Means no naughtiness in the house!

OH went to the estate agents this morning to put the offer in and they wont offer it to the owners as they have other viewings but we are the first to offer. He has also been told that he has to make an apt with their mortgage advisor which he has done but doesn't know what for. We already have an agreement with another mortgage advisor so really don't want to use theirs. Really annoyed with him. He was told that they are moving into a new build but didn't ask when so could be another 6 months. He doesn't know what his meeting with the mortgage advisor is for, just booked it. He doesn't know when we should expect to find out if they accept our offer or not. He doesn't know why they wont offer it to the owners now. I understand that they have procedures to follow but if we don't understand the procedures surely we are allowed to ask. Just so that we have understanding not so we can fight against them. He just doesn't switch his brain on sometimes.

So glad he was home last night though. Slept really well. Makes such a difference to my sleep!

the agents should put the offer to the owners makes no odds if they have other viewings booked its up to the owner to decide. When I sold we had an offer then viewings booked but I accepted the offer made. Can you not phone the agent and ask the questions? fellas are so useless sometimes x

Because of not being well I struggle with official phone calls and close up.
I text him saying that he was coming with me tonight and he said yeah I will come so I replied saying it wasn't a question. he has just sent me a text saying he's called them and has more info so feel a bit happier.
The new build hasn't been fully reserved for them yet but the company have said if they see our AIP then they will reserve it. Also the new build company have said they want to deal with the estate agents direct and want us to use their mortgage advisor. Have told OH that we should see what rate our mortgage advisor can give us and compare it to what they can give us. I'm not really happy him sorting out the mortgage on his on though if I'm honest... He will probably sign a deal without discussing it with me..

Thats a pain Emily, but surely like Joanna says, you should still be able to put an offer in for it and be told after if it was successful. I understand if it was today they were having the viewings, but what if it is not until the weekend? That is naughty, they are just trying to hold out for a higher figure, did he say what the offer was?

Well we have offered asking price so to hold out for a higher offer is just cheeky. They bought it for £17k less 8 years ago but have put a conservatory and new kitchen in and looking at the other houses we have seen its really worth it.

I am adamant to have lunch today so i'll call OH again to find out more. I get the impression from his text that if we send our AIP and the new homes company accepts their reservation then they will accept. he didn't tell me when they were moving in though so really not sure.

It's blue sky in Cardiff. I'm waiting for it to change, as I have a midwife appointment at lunchtime. Every time I have been to the midwife so far I have been drenched. The surgery is near home but the last couple of appointments have been lunchtime ones so I effectively walk home from work and then walk back again. I must remember next time to ask for the latest slot that is available so that I can go on home afterwards. I need to get my MATB1 form today to give to work. I'll be 25 weeks on Saturday and it's at 25 weeks that they want it. I was a bit annoyed given that she said when I saw her at 16 weeks that I wouldn't need to see her to get the form, I could just ring up after the 20 week scan and she would do the form and leave it with reception. When I rang up to request it before Christmas the message came back that she needed to see me first as she had to see me after 20 weeks before doing the form. That's definitely not what she had previously said. She's only in on Thursday afternoons and by then it was too late to get in before going away for Christmas. At least today's appointment should be able to count as the 25 week one as I'm close enough, so I won't need to go again until 28 weeks. It feels like I'm having an awful lot of time off work for these. My colleague only works Wednesday onwards so can schedule appointments for when she isn't in work. Everyone's very good about it though.

Emily have I understood right, the people who own the house that you're putting an offer in for are moving into a new build? It seems really bizarre in that case that you would have to use the mortgage adviser that the building company wants. Surely that should only apply to the people buying the new builds. The mortgage should surely be your choice.

Jo that's my thoughts which is why I want the rates from our mortgage advisor so that we can compare. If they can't match it/beat it then I don't see why we have to use theirs

You don't have to use theirs if you already have it in place. As you say, compare, see how it is, if it is a better deal then go for it, if not, then say you have a better deal elsewhere. See if they can then match it.

your mortgage has nothing to do with the people that are selling as long as they get their money on day of completion then that it tell the other mortgage advisor to do one if they are no good never heard anything like it. as long as you have the money in place that's all that matters

If you've offered asking price then they should accept but precious house value doesn't always mean much.

Our house is up for sale for 30k more than we paid 3 years ago but we've spent a fortune on it including a new roof and other bits and pieces because the house was in a terrible state.

I'd find it cheeky if someone said they thought 70k was expensive when we bought for 40k because they don't know how much we've spent on it to get it habitable and the condition it was in when it was last on the market
