Morning ladies.... I slept better last night but still not all the way through. I think it's getting back into the routine of not having OH at home!

I'm definitely noticing a difference doing these exercises..... My body is tightening. I feel better for eating healthy too. Flatter stomach!

I will give the DVD a go tonight.

I hope today goes fast at work. I'm not enjoying the job at all.

OH just gone to work. Tidied kitchen pots away.

LO at nursery at 7.45 so just getting dressed before I come home to do day 2 of DVD

I knew I'd not slept through but as I say that could be down to getting used to OH being away and clean bedding.... I never sleep good once I've changed the bedding lol

Weighed myself and I've not lost anything. Disappointed with that to be honest though I feel better.

    Morning all,

Emm, I don't have the one that tracks sleep, would be interesting though, last night I slept ok, still did not want to get up this morning, and when I did I sat on the sofa and dropped back off. My daughter popped to the shop and got some milk as it went off last night so had a cuppa and feeling slightly more awake now, but not much more, face feels puffy from lack of sleep but had enough really considering.

Got work this afternoon, plan to put a huge veggie soup in th slow cooker for the others to have.

Turns out the base is only compatible with one type of car seat, which isn't easily available in the U.K. It's actually going to be cheaper to buy a new seat than to buy the compatible one for the base. It was something donated to church so I think it must have been donated by someone from the states. Possibly they meant only to donate the pushchair and that ended up in there too. The pushchair is good, but not suitable for a newborn as it doesn't lie flat, so we will keep it to use later on.

Just gone into our room to get the laundry so I can put a load on, hubby still in bed, asked if he was actually getting out of it today, his reply was, 'oh but I slept so well', errrrmmmm yeah that's nice for you!

Laundry on, a work uniform ironed, having another cuppa then need to get ready to pop to town.

Morning ladies, another rubbish sleep for me so I'm feeling knackered this morning.

Emm, remember you will be creating more muscle mass so you may not see a physical loss on the scales just yet. As long as you feel better in yourself that's the main thing! The numbers will follow if you keep at it xx

I really feel like I should be exercising as I made a good start before Christmas, but I'm still recovering from this cold/flu thing and just don't feel strong enough to do it just yet, but I am on it 100% with the diet now. I want to do my DVD in the mornings before work but it's sooo hard getting out of bed when it's still dark!!! Can't really do it in the evenings as we only have the one telly and definitely wouldn't want OH watching me do it.

That's me as well Flossie, but without the cold. I just cannot be bothered getting up early in the morning, there is a bootcamp I could go to but that is 6am! Sod that. Plus at the mo, my neck is still a little sore so don't want to do anything that will make it worse.

I don't mind getting up early, it's just the darkness that kills any motivation I may have had the night before! Hopefully once the mornings start getting lighter I will find a bit more motivation. I guess it's that bit harder for you as well though due to you working shifts - your body must be all over the place sometimes without needing to throw exercise into the hat as well.

Well if he is not going to work today, when I am at work he can put all the Xmas stuff away

Popped some tea in the slow cooker. God knows how it will taste - going for lean diced beef with chopped onion, red pepper and yellow pepper with some beef stock with long grain white rice - shall see how it turns out .. Only coming up as 460 calories too!

Joanna, no he does not. He has gone now though, I've put the laundry on the line, put the small cushions in the wash which are on the sofa, showered and put a chunky veggie stew in the slow cooker.

I saw that in @ld! this week they are doing the air fry cookers for 29.99. I might treat us.

Morning ladies, hope you've all had good starts to the new year! :)

J and I took the Xmas decorations down yesterday; front room here's looking a bit bare and colourless now so I'm just faffing with my computer as it keeps dropping connection with the wifi and I don't know why :(

Took his parents out for an anniversary dinner last night - bit late as their anniversary was actually on the 2nd but the place we wanted to take them wasn't open that day - it's a cute little 50s American-style diner and they really enjoyed it, especially playing with the little jukebox.

Can't believe we're actually getting married this year - had to correct myself a couple of times talking with my dad on New Year's Day! - it's so exciting and nerve-wracking at the same time...

I went to my local T3sc0s yesterday to get fruit, bread and cheese for lunches in work. All I could get was apples in the fruit section. I wanted oranges, satsumas or bananas that could just go lose in my bag. I might try again tonight on the way home from work.

    G'day all.
Does anyone have a fussy eater??? Had a phone call from school today regarding my daughters weight, their concern is the same as mine she looks anorexic and ill and has gone really fussy with food. Tried to get GP appt but busy. She has epilepsy but this shouldn't effect her weight. Between me and the school we are keeping a diary of all she eats. I'm at my wits end with her and her eating, but I'm not going to force her to eat. She's nearly 14. Xx
