Morning all

Slept awful again last night. Really do not know what's up with me. Changed the setting in my f!tb!t for my sleep pattern as it never actually showed how I really slept. Now it has, I managed just under four hours last night and that's been pretty much the norm for me, specially since I finished the nights last week. Today will most likely consist of mooching around the house doing this and that if I can be bothered.

So do I, hopefully my body will be so exhausted I will sleep. I had a lay in Saturday morning, but I was still awake loads in the night, that was even taking my tablets I use for nights, that's why I slept in as it made me groggy.

Kids all gone off to school. May go back to bed.

Just causally sitting t my desk eating my breakfast cause I woke up late. It's so foggy round here today, however I am loving the fact a lot of the trees are a beautiful golden colour. Bonfire night this weekend as well so excited :)

Hope hubby's nan is on the mend Flossie.

I went back to bed, I laid there, could not sleep so got showered, need to pop to the shop and get sweeties for the kids tonight, plus I need a few bits anyway. Get that, then home and think a cuppa and my book is needed.

Not many sweets left at the shop but got enough.

Just waiting on th laundry to finish, might put it on the line as seems an ok day but it might also not dry properly as the ground is a tad damp.

Hi all. Happy Halloween! We are off to the fun fair today then Halloween markets then parade and fireworks. Looking forward to it. Hubby's van is in garage today AGAIN. Sick of it. Plus he got his renewal in for insurance and it's gone up so much. That's all we need. Stressing over money as it is!! On a more positive note I felt baby moving about this morning for the first time. Forgot what a lovely feeling it is!!

Danielle, be cheeky and ask what discounts they will give before you waste time going elsewhere only for them to match it. I had that last year, I wasted my time searching as my insurance increased so much, I got it down to £200 less than my insurers quoted me, when I called back they said to me they'd look at the discounts I could get and suddenly they could match the quote I found. So this year, when they called I said straight to them, 'before I waste my time and your time, what discounts are you going to give me' suddenly again my premium reduced from the quote they had at the start of the conversation.

I don't mind Halloween, comes from having so many kids I suppose. I was never allowed to trick or treat when I grew up, my mum did not allow it. Always get pumpkins and stick them in the window so people know to call. When I've taken the kids out we have only called on houses that have pumpkins or something Halloween related on show,

I would love to have a nap right now just trying to finish my lunch not really happening cause the phone keeps ringing might put it on do not disturb :)

Evening all - OH bought a random pumpkin yesterday reduced- I thought it looked like a melon- but he's carved it tonight- looks awesome- he is do creative!

Evening all. GF he rang up today and managed to reduce it by 180 but it's still up from last year. The girl said it's because rates have went up so everyone's insurance has went up. Expecting car to go up now too.

Had a lovely day. Me, hubby and my mum took LO to the. Fun fair he loved it. Then we had Chinese for dinner then off to the parade and fireworks. LO loved it but then got fed up as if was a lot of waiting about for him. It was so cold too so we headed on before it was over. I also got some nice new maternity jeans and a coat today. LO has been toilet trained since Feb (he turned 3 sept past) but has still been wearing a pull up at night. This past couple of mornings he's been dry so I've left it off tonight. Hopefully it's successful and I'm not up changing sheets in the middle of the night!!

Morning all

Had a brilliant weekend in Amsterdam. We got to the hotel and they'd upgraded us to a suite bar in the room, super king bed, shower and a bath.

Went to the dungeons sat night for the Halloween special but we didn't think much to it. Wasn't scary at all. We went on a canal cruise to see all the sights and then got off at the station to have a walk around the town and the red light district. Some of the women are so pretty.

Had a chilled Sunday night in a bar and then the taxi picked us up at 12 yesterday to take us to the airport.

LO loved staying with in laws. He didn't want to stay at home last night. He finally nodded off about 7pm

Dropped him off at nursery this morning. Put a wash load on and now time for a shower

Morning all. First night with no pull up was a success. LO was so proud of himself this morning plus he slept until 10.15 lol

Michelle sounds like you had a lovely time. Bet it was nice having some alone time with hubby.

My day today consists of cleaning!! Great. Have a nice day all x

Afternoon all

Had a study day to morning, first part was fire training, I asked if I needed to be there as I done my fie warden training in June and he said nope not really, but I done it anyhoo, but he told me to be quiet when he asked questions. Fortunately when it came to demonstrating the fire extinguishers I got praised on how well I controlled them. Haha. We then had resus training after that and then a mix.

Really need the gym tonight though to let off steam.

Finished earlier than expected. Need I cook a shepherds pie for diner then choir tonight :)

Freezing today. Forgot it was bin day so got it out just in time. Also put the bins away as the man took it from me half way up the drive and bought it back to me

It's certainly a tad chilly this morning, still haven't put the heating on though. We are really well insulated and not felt the need yet hehe.

I think it helps I have effectively got a hot water bottle (aka baby) in my tummy though!

Sorry Emily, he's a builder, I did end up going to see him but we all sat indoors as the extension has been done.

Had an ok sleep last night, woke up about 5am though but only woke about once between going to bed until then. Got body pump this morning and then a bit of shopping. Then this evening some friends are having a bonfire so we are heading down there for some yummy soup and bread. Would normally have a few drinks with them but I have a long day tomorrow at work.

Hey Danielle, we had a bit of a shopping spree at the baby show 2 weeks ago, he is our first so we literally had nothing. We've ordered pram, car seat and nursery furniture. Just started picking up sleepsuits, vests etc quite recently, it's looking like he will be a big baby so trying not to get too much tiny stuff! We've also got some time off next week to paint the nursery which is both terrifying and exciting. Sorry if I've asked before but when are you due?

I think I must have missed something Flossie, did not realize you were about to buy a place! How exciting!

Oh snazzy! I think the waiting once you've put the application in is the hardest bit, I was hounding our mortgage advisor everyday until ours came through!

How does it work with a mortgage just in your name? A friend of mine did that and her partner had to sign a letter to say he had no interest in the property or something?

Flossie I used to live in fareham. Was it the harvester around the corner from the train station? If it's still there that is.

Had an awesome pump class today. My toe is finally on the mend so not so bad when I do lunges, and upped my weights a little on one track. Popped to m@t@l@n to get some shoes for when I'm in community and a couple of long sleeved tops as seem to be lacking them, gone to the shop and got some groceries in as well. All sorted for the next couple of days.
