OH pays for the wedding at the mo so he's got no spare cash. I'll be right, I live like this month on month so I'm used to it lol.....

Definite contractions have been happening, although not regular yet. I'm hoping they mean that some progress will have been made when they do the review at 7:00, and if I do need another thing it will be faster. GF propess is the 24 hour one.

It's started the horrible weather after a lovely few days of sunshine! We have thunder and lighting my poor dog bella hates this weather and has not stopped pining! Hope the sunshine comes back tho but looking at the weather reports looks like a miserable week! But hey who ever believed the weather man! I'm going to have a film night popcorn etc with the OH and kids, hope you all have a good evening :) xx

Ahhh Ec, I have heard of it actually, a friend used it when working at stock mandeville. After 24hrs they assess to see if your membranes can be ruptured, if not cs? We use prostin tablets, they have two lots 6-8 hours apart, then if unable to break waters they have a day's rest and start again. My friend said propess normally works really well. Good luck with it all, hopefully in the morning you'll have some news for everyone.
I'm struggling today, I had about 15/20 mins sleep earlier until the postie woke me up, could not settle back off again, got some laundry done, just put my fourth load in but that is now all the weekend laundry sorted. Did manage to go back off about 330pm for about an hour, when hubby came home I asked him to take me shopping as no way would I have been able to drive the car safely.

That's good then (lo being better, not you being ill! lol) My daughter has her first wisdom tooth coming through and she's in pain with that so it's the dentist for her on Monday.

That is early!! Mine didn't start till I was 17, the one that I had to have removed was pushing against my other tooth that's why it was so painful I hope that not the case for your daughter x

Ooh! ouch! It looks to me as though she has lots of space for it, but her gum is all swollen and the side of her mouth is really red, so I'm hoping there isn't the start of an infection :( x

Oh gosh I hope that not the case! Maybe it's because she's getting it early? Hopefully the dentist will give her antibiotics if it does turn out to be an infection :( I found that salt water worked for me when was in a lot of pain they say it's good for swollen gums and helping prevent infections and my dentist gave me clove oil which had a strong smell but helped with the pain x

Morning all....
The kids woke at 5.10 this morning.... I'm far from impressed. Although they don't need me to be up, once I'm awake I prefer to get up and start my day. It take me a good hour to wake up properly anyway....
Hoping to go over to Edale today but not 100% sure yet due to time! I'm desperate for make up and so need to go to 80075 at some point.

Still here, but I did manage to sleep some of last night hence why I've been quiet. After the 24 hour pessary they switch to a 6 hour gel, unless the waters can be broken. I'm on my second of those, the first was done about 10:00 last night and the second about 4:30 this morning. I think they can try up to three of those. They are doing something, I'm still only 1 cm but the cervix is apparently softening a bit, although it is too long still. I'm not necessarily getting enough contractions to get it to shift. Ultimately they will move me upstairs to try to break the waters, whether that's after a third gel or whether it's later this morning I don't know yet. I'll know more around 11:00-12:00 I reckon. I'm not sure then how long they give it before a c-section.

I think if it's not looking promising this afternoon I might ask to talk about a c-section, as it really is getting ridiculous. He's not budging, and I'm 42 + 1 today. If I'd known it could take this long I would have asked to be induced sooner.

Ahhh no Ec, he's being very stubborn. Women do get disheartened when they hear the cervix has not dilated any more, but I always tell them that it is not all about that, it's the other changes that happen as well, cervix getting thinner, softer, coming forward. I hope things happen later on for you. Seems a long drawn out process.
Today we are meeting up with my son and his gf and Freddie. I said this to hubby yesterday and he said ok, this morning he has got up to go to work!

I've been up since 7.30 as I had an intuition that something was wrong, so tested my daughters blood sugars and she was low, so had to wake her up. She's ok though. But means I haven't wasted half of the day lying in bed! Got 2 loads of washing on the line and another in the machine. Have also reorganised some of the kitchen cupboards.

Had a terrific day yesterday. Gym class, then cleaned the en suite, family bathroom and downstairs loo as well as got laundry done. then helped out at church jumble sale. Then popped to my parents for bbq dinner which was delicious!
This morning I changed the sheets when I got in from Sunday mass. Just painted my toe nails so they look all pretty and summery now.

I'm in the garden too. Chilling with a nice glass of sparkling water ice and lemon. Had to clean e everything though. Wiped garden table down 6 times before it was actually clean and hose down all the chairs. That's after hubby said they were fine. Lazy g1t. Plus he has no concept of dirt and bacteria. Used washing up liquid and water three times, 4 antibacterial wipes and then damp cloth before it was clean!
