I've had a lovely lie in this morning.

Have been having an amazing long weekend so far.

Friday night as soon as I got home I managed to get half an hour cleaning in so got the family bathroom and downstairs toilet all cleaned. Then hubby and I just went to our local Italian for dinner.

Saturday morning, usual routine, gym class and picked up few bits from the supermarket. Got home and cleaned the en suite. 0c@d0 delivered and I had a shower. Then my hairdresser came at noon to do my usual cut and finish as hair badly needed split ends trimming. Then after cleaning up kitchen and having lunch I did the laundry, changed the bedsheets, and then got ready to go out. Hubby and I popped into town for dinner at H@kk@5@n. Been wanting to go there and try it for ages, wasn't disappointed, food was simply gorgeously delicious.

Yesterday after church hubby and I went for a wander around 81c35t3r V111@g3. Well actually I went to shop lol. Done very well. Got so much and love the fact everything is sale price or less. Took us 2 hours to get there because of traffic and had to park in the park and ride which actually was really convenient so in future I'll be doing that, we didn't even drive to the car park at the shopping village, we headed straight for the Park and ride as I knew their car park would be packed.

I even started to get some dare I say it ......................Christmas shopping started. I wasn't intending to, I just happened to see a few bits and thought I won't be able to get them when I actually do start so thought I'd get them now. So I'm really pleased.

Poor hubby was so bored the whole 4.5 hours we were there. Thank goodness though he was with me as I'd really struggle otherwise to carry so many bulky heavy bags. I was okay I think until I went into M01t0n 8r0wn which I cleverly left until the end, penultimate shop anyway.

Hubby was so patient with me yesterday bless him.

I've been working today out in community. Many peeps would have taken ages to get through what I had to do today, but I just got on with it, did not stop for lunch so meant I was able to finish a little early.

I just popped up to the high street earlier this afternoon just to get out and also needed to get a birthday card for our niece. Also saw some Finding Dory stationary sets in the card shop, 99p each so I bought 4 different items which I can mix and match between the two older nieces as part of their Christmas presents.................sorry I know it's too early but when I see things I tend to pick them up so that come December I'm not frantic trying to find things and also this way I spread the cost of the festive season.

Was browsing online this afternoon too and have ordered all 3 girl's their main Christmas presents, so that's all of hubby's sister's family sorted now as we already picked up his sister and BILs present on our travels.

'Fish and chips' on for dinner. Salmon baked in oven simply seasoned and wrapped in foil so it can cook in it's own juices and natural oil. With homemade potato wedges which I'll sprinkle with paprika. Also got some sweetheart cabbage on the stove. Mmmmmmmm.

Feel like we've overindulged this weekend, time to reign it back in.

Back to the grind today! OH left at 3am and won't be back until the 9th September.....

I'll use this week to get cleaned through, get straight and start my fitness routine again. I'm going to try running at night and see how I like it. Not far, just local but give it a go!

Might seriously start looking at jobs too. I've had enough where I am now and I e gone back to dreading going in! I'd like more money and more holidays but it's just not going to happen if I do nothing about it.

Even though we had a 3 day weekend it still went really quickly... glad it's only a 4 day working week this week, though it will be a busy one as the newbie is starting tomorrow so will be spending a lot of time with her whilst still trying to get all my work done.

Morning all, hope you enjoyed bank holiday off. We took kids to a family fun day at our local golf club, which really wasn't thought about, cueing for half an hour to get a drink isn't good in the heat, kids deemed to enjoy it Barr my 13 yo who was bored but never mind,can't please everyone.
On a downer aswell as my sister has decided to announce she's getting married (for the second time) in Feb when they've just got engaged and not even got a ring. Mum said I'm jealous as I told her it was selfish as she knows I've been sorting our wedding since we got engaged and getting married in June. I'm certainly not jealous more annoyed as she likes to be the centre of attention all the time . Grrrrr xx

Evening all

Had a busy morning in clinic and then it eased up after lunch. Had a stonker of a headache so sat on the sofa to get rid of after taking some tablets, heard a God almighty crash outside, looked out the window to see a car in the road, then my son came running down saying a motorcyclist had been knocked off his bike, ran out shouting for someone to call 999 and went over to him. Kept talking to him keeping him conscious and making sure he stayed in the position I found him and awaited the ambulance. Stayed with him the whole time, stopped his bleeding on his hand. Nobody saw anything but he kept saying he was sorry, he was embarrassed and how he never saw the car, just turned straight into it. Seriously hope he's ok as when th paramedic felt his spine it was not too bad, but thy had to get another car down to help move him. We had to call the police again to ensure they were turning up, they did in the end. In the meantime, my 13 year old lad and another chap were controlling the traffic.

Due to that, by the time I was back inside I was too late for body pump. Oh well. My daughter said I seemed to really be enjoying it and how I should have done that job. I said I tossed up between ambulance and midwifery

I've not told my sis what I'm doing /having for my wedding so doubt she will copy but you never know, I personally think it's coz she's annoyed I haven't asked her partner to the day of the wedding only the evening as they were separated when I ordered the invites. She's always been the same trying to be centre of everything. Xx

Lo and I had a busy afternoon yesterday washing and polishing cars, packing our suitcases and cleaning the whole house. Stripped beds washed all bedding then re made them

Hi all! I've been keeping the girls entertained all summer and am only coming on to have a brief catch up with what's going on. Today though I am feeling crap. Hayfever has been building up all week and have a headache now. Just noticed my ticker say weeks and not months! That has scared me!! Hopefully I have everything in place. Also, missing my dad, even after the things he has done. But I know that seeing him again is not an option. I suppose it's a bit like mourning. I'm sure I'll get over it.

Exciting about the house Flossie - fingers-crossed for you :-)

We went to look at properties up in the Durham area over the Bank Holiday whilst we were visiting OH's family. Found a lovely house, ticked all of the right boxes, but the timing isn't right. We wanted to get an idea what we could get for our money up North compared to here in the South - a real eye opener!!

OH flew back to Portugal this afternoon and not back home again until Friday so flat to myself again for the next couple of nights!
