They defo should not be dog owners! drives me mad when they give you the dirty look too! I feel were so responsible with Leo, even when children want to clap him, I tend not to allow it as he doesn't like to be crowded or have hands over his face, but even if I do allow it if there is one or two ill ask Leo to sit and tell the child only to clap him here and not to come over his face, hes brilliant with my friends kids but even them I ask them only to clap him certain ways xx

When we were on holiday we were in a dog friendly pub my MILs dog was bitten as a pup so hes petrified of other dogs and barks like mad at them. He never goes for them just has a sharp bark. We had him pushed right in the corner under a chair surrounded by 9 of us so that he couldn't see the other dogs. Put coats on chairs etc. so that he was out the way.
Another dog was off the lead and pushed over to him and Sam barked at him the owner didn't do anything so I got up and took the dog away to the other owner and they looked at me as if to say its your fault.
I was soo angry!

Think that's why ours has such an attitude now with other dogs he got such a fright that night! can hardly blame him, he never bites a strange dog but gives them a warning of don't get to close and has that warning bark too xx

It's good that he stands up for himself and gives the warning! Oscar's so dopey he never growls or barks or tells dogs to back off.. he just lets them chase him round and round even though you can tell he's not happy and wants to get away from them. Dog needs to learn to stand up for himself! xx

Such a shame when there are so many responsible dog owners and we have to keep our dogs on leads because we don't know what might happen!
Poor Oscar im sure he will one day have enough and will bark and tell them off xx

I was listening to the radio on the way to work this morning and they were talking about dogs and the love they have for them, apparently there was a lady in America out on a golf course with her friend and their dogs when she turned her back for like 2 seconds she heard fighting etc - looked round to see her dog being attacked by an alligator!!! She says 'fight or flight' took over and she grabbed the tail of the alligator, swung it around and then tied it up with her belt!! had her friends belt and hers tied tight round its neck waiting for the police to arrive! Dog was badly injured but he survived! Fair play I say xx

Thanks ladies :) just got back from my first physio and its feeling a bit better! I've had ultrasound on my back to release some swelling but they did recommend acupuncture but I'm petrified of needles! Has anyone had it in the past?
I was basically on my way to court in Glasgow travelling at 60mph on an a road when my company car blared at me and slammed the brakes on for no apparent reason (it has a laser at the front which activates the brakes if it senses something but there was nothing there!) I panicked trying to get the car to move then thought oh god what's behind me no sooner had I checked my rear view mirror but a big 4x4 pickup truck hit the back of th car at 50mph.
At the time i felt sick and was shaking and my head really hurt with a really bad headache because I hit my head that hard off the head rest but the pain really started 5 days later :(
The car doesn't even look that bad because of the height of his car but I've told work even if it's repaired I don't want it back!

Hopefully this crease will be enough to write the car off!

More frustrating Sarah! I took the car to 3 different garages on 6 separate occasions saying the car had a fault with the braking system and they kept telling me there was nothing wrong! I'm a damage and maintenance manager for a car hire company so I knew there was a problem and my oh is a technician so he knew there was a fault too but they kept saying it was fine and now it's done this and they're still saying the car is fine! My partner was clever enough to run diagnostics before it went in and found 5 faults with the car but the garage said they found none!? Suspicious! My managers are dealing with them now!

Kayleigh I would love noisy cats! We just trip over them because they don't say a word!
Our Flossy is like that you can pick her up and put her anywhere and she's happy. can even wear her as a scarf. It's lovely having snuggles on tap when you want it. Our other 2 aren't that generous though. they will only have snuggles when they want them and with Timothy if he wants it he gets it and will wake you up biting your elbows if you aren't giving it to him the little monster! he doesn't bite properly but gets his teeth around you then stops which is good.
That sounds awful! is everything ok now?

Are you making a claim? I was a passenger so I was a complete non-fault and as they settled 50/50 claim they got me a payout from both - I was losing £70 a day at the time through sick pay and the Chiropractor cost me £40 a session and I had to have a min of 10!

God Kayleigh! Mines nowhere near that bad although I have got 5 tablets to take every 4 hours which makes me very sleepy! My biggest worth is my fitness it's all going to go downhill because it's too painful to run or even swim at the moment. I've had two days off and need to decide if I'm going back to work tomorrow as my hotel room is booked and paid for; no one at my company has really given me any proper guidance about time off or anything which is really hard because the rtc was during a journey for work so would have hoped they'd have given me a bit more guidance!
CommentAuthorBecci93
I'm not sure how it all works Kayleigh, so far I've only had two days off and one physio sessions but luckily I pay £2.50 a month for bupa health insurance so they're paying for my physio to a limit of £1500 but I don't know who would handle my claim; I'm very skeptical about solicitors and the ones hassling me are sending me mad and just keep asking about my insurance which the company deal with but I don't know who they use or how to find out and I've only been with the company a year so I don't want to do anything that makes me look bad to the company which I've explained to the solicitors

I understand where your coming from about not wanting to look bad but... this is your life, your health and the pain can be reoccurring! I wasn't going to bother and even though it doesn't fix anything and I still suffer from it now at the time the money I lost was huge at the time and I fell behind in all aspects of bills and things so it helped in the short term. As a company they need to expect when things like this happen it needs to be done and you need to think of you and not the company. They shouldn't take anything personally in the long run your going to be the one effected by it xx

I was waiting to turn on to my drive when a car was travelling 40mph hit the rear of May car as the man wasn't looking where he was going. I had 5/6 physio sessions and it was amazing. All the right hand side of my body really hurt so he just focused on that. Bending, stretching, massage and warm heat pads. The first 3 sessions the pain was horrendous when he massaged my neck, back and shoulder but I was taking codeine too which helped. After the first physio session I could tell it was working x
