Yeah I only have 30 mins too so its not long enough and Leo gets out for at least 2 hours with his walker, our walker does private walks too its a little more expensive but is better for nervous/naughty pooches lol maybe someone in your area would do the same xx

Ours used to go to indoor dog training classes with a dog walker but he was dismissed due to his heart mumour he said it was stressing him out so we take him up the the outdoor socialisation class every Saturday and Sunday which he loves.

He takes them to he field for dog walks too we've just never asked how much so might be worth us speaking to him about it.

He's coming for a one on one session with us tomorrow night regarding his lead behaviour which I'm quite nervous for because of it's related to his heart mumour the dog trainer has already said if it gets worse then the kindest thing to do is put him to sleep.. We really don't want to do that because he's a happy little thing other than on a lead so we're currently in the process of buying him a house with a big garden to limit the time he needs to spend on a lead to keep his stress to a minimum!

My mums dog is like that Mrs Wade 2 be!

They wrap him up in a blanket before they go to work and when they get in he's in exactly the same place fast asleep! My step dad actually had to peel him out of bed on a morning to go for a walk haha!

Emma he's lovely though! Crosses usually have better temperaments as well! He looks like he might have a bit of jack Russell in him too! He looks very obedient for his age too!

Oscar was always good as a puppy, always the best in training class etc. But he did go through a bit of a "phase" in his teenage years and really tried to push his luck at times. Just stay very firm and he'll be fine!

Oscar is strange with other dogs. He gets really excited when he sees them and always wants to say hello to them, but as soon as they start playing with him and chasing him he turns into such a wimp! He gives it but then doesn't like it when they give it back! xx

I think that's the staffy in him Emma both of mine are the same; my dog trainer says that with our older dog it's because we didn't socialise him enough which is probably true! Because he kicked off at other dogs we'd cross the road to avoid them rather than deal with the issue whereas the trainer said we should have introduced him to as many dogs as possible x

It's annoying when they're good off a lead but idiots on one! Both ours are strange on the lead pulling and lunging at dogs people and bikes it's frustrating!

Mums is a staffy cross but dogs trust didn't know what with!? I think he could just be an American staffy with longer legs

Me and my partner have an Alsatian cross staffy with a serious attitude problem if he doesn't get his own way and the biggest puppy eyes and ears I've ever seen to make us feel guilty! Yours is lovely! I never really liked big dogs til we got ozzy!

It's the same with Staffies, you get the minority who don't raise them properly and don't train them etc. so they turn into bad dogs. Doesn't mean they're ALL like that but they get a bad reputation because of it! We're a little more wary of Staffies now which does make me feel bad, but since Oscar was attacked by one a few months ago we can't help but be cautious of those we don't know now when we are with Oscar xx

I don't think it's a bad thing being cautious, it shows you are a responsible dog owner. We met a lab a few weeks ago who looked friendly as anything but was actually quite aggressive when he started playing. Oscar was clearly trying to get away from it but it's owner didn't even care at all, didn't once try and stop it or call it back! That's what annoys me more than anything, when dog owner's are oblivious to their dogs being a nuisance! xx

We were out for a walk one night walked round the corner to a lab of the lead and it was out with a child of about 8/9, the lab ran up to leo and grabbed him by the neck, he was petrified! I was screaming as I didn't no what to do luckily H2B was there, he had to jump on the dogs back and basically strangle it to get off our dog! I grabbed leo and he clung to me, H2B got the lead on the dog and the little boy ran away, never seen them again as if I knew where they stayed I would of been round to them and giving them a piece of my mind for letting a child out with a massive dog which wasn't well behaved, Leo hadn't even seen the dog and it just grabbed him. I dread to think what could oh happened if i was on my own! But since then leo has been very bad with big dogs and does this whole im the boss routine! xx

There is a dalmation living near us who is free to roam the streets... several times now he has come out of the house running up to Oscar growling and acting aggressively in the middle of the street and the owner does NOTHING. Last time she eventually found he was in the middle of the street bothering us and called him back, but did she say sorry? Of course she didn't! Some people are so flippin rude and shouldn't own a dog!
