Oh no Michelle. Hope LO gets well soon.

William has had a bad cold now for about a week and he gets all snuggly..... I know how it feels to be full of cold and it's not nice

He sat watching his pad whilst in the bath. He just keeps asking for a hot bath. Obviously soothing him

Today hasn't been to bad for a Monday. Only got half a day tomorrow and so booked to have my nails done at 4.15. Hopefully CAFCASS will have gone by then!! Their appointment is 2pm.

Realistically, I don't think they should tell you when they are coming cos it gives you time to be prepared. I think they should spot check you and then all the junkies/alcoholics etc that pose a real danger will be seen!! We are a genuine loving family with a loving dad that wants to see his son. I'm not at all concerned for today's report but I'll let you know how it goes xx

I bleached the girls bathroom and floor the other week, still it is there. I have a feeling what it is though. Last summer when it got really hot our immersion tank kept on emptying out which is by the front door. Turned out there was a setting too high on it so when the sun got too hot on the solar panels it could not cope and chucked it out everywhere. After a couple of times it started to leak through into the girls bathroom which is under the front door. behind their sink and toilet is a wooden panel, I am wondering if it is there as you smell it when you walk in, but when you go over towards the bath it goes.

Not sure if we are going out or if staying in though, hubby never actually said. HOwever, this afternoon I think it is downstairs and checking out the smell.

I honestly think that a few years ago when hubby was not working for a few months, could not afford to get his car on the road again, so could not pay child maintenance, his ex got funny with him then and I reckon she would have stopped him seeing them if he had not started to pay up. It was almost a threat it felt like. Why be like that?? MY ex is the biggest twunk head in the world, but I have never once stopped him seeing them.

Yeah some women are just evil, H2B has had to deal with her picking and choosing when he sees his son for the last 7 years, the last 2 years have been particularly bad, and now we've not seen him for 7 months, you would think she would of gave up the antics by now esp when she has a new baby but no! she jealous of us and I have no idea why in her head I live a life of luxury where I don't work and H2B keeps me as shes told me in the past, stepson loves being with us and the only person shes truly hurting is her own son its sad but Thursday we should have a resolution and she can no longer play god with his life xx

That's it, they don't realise it do they? My kids are now getting to the stage where they really don't want to go to their Dad's. It all kicked off the other weekend when my youngest had a party which was a sleep over camping, I said to him she needed picking up at 11am, he kicked off saying he could not do it as they have to work every weekend through the summer, so mine all said, well what is the point in us going there then? True, very true, but I have never said well don't go.

Good luck today Emma - not that you need it though!

I'm a bit miffed this morning. I emailed our landlady over the weekend to see if she'd be willing to arrange for a new carpet/flooring to be fitting in our lounge/dining area, or even if she'd consider letting us arrange it ourselves if she didn't want the hassle and then just taking the cost off our rent for the month. She has replied this morning saying she is happy for us to change any decor to our liking but it is her policy to generally only pay for a change flooring at the end of tenancies.

When we were first showed around the house by the letting agent we under the impression that the carpet would be replaced if a professional clean was not successful. When we got the keys the carpet was still damp so we could tell it had been professionally cleaned but it was not in great condition even after that. Not only a little grubby but also worn and snagged in places. We had been stung twice before with landlords we didn't want to be a nuisance at all to her and give her any reason to get annoyed with us (I know, a bit silly in hindsight haha). I appreciate it will have worn naturally since we moved in but I feel like if we said something at the time something would be done about it.

Told her we would rather laminate flooring which would be better for her as a landlady going forward also because of it's ease of cleaning/maintenance. She said laminate flooring would probably be in bad condition in a few years' time so if she paid for it now she would then have to pay again to replace it at the end of our tenancy - so someone else would get a new flooring, but we didn't?!

Asked her if she would consider a compromise and go halves with us. Let's wait for a reply....

    Yeah let us know Emma.

I dropped LO off at nursery at 7.45. Came back and cleaned the bathroom and hoovered up. Just having 15 mins on the vibration plate before I go to t3sc0 to get a few bits then got the caravan to clean.

OH has got a shake that he lost 7lb on last week so I've started on it today too. We shall see how it goes. Going to have it twice a day then meal at night x

That's it GF they don't know what there doing and the kids will end up resenting them for it, hes only getting older now and one day will realise all she has done!

That's unfair Flossie, you shouldn't even ask to compromise she should be keeping the home in good order and if it wasn't replaced when you moved in she should be willing to change it, esp when she has good tenants who pay their rent and keep the house in good order xx

If we could afford it I would have just fitted a new flooring ages ago! But I really hate spending money on a property that isn't ours, rent is dead money as it is, let alone paying for home improvements. I think it is unfair as it really should have been replaced before we moved in but being the people we are we didn't want to be a pain about it. I think she could at least meet us in the middle - not ideal but we'd have to see how much it would cost and see if it would be worth it xx

Yeah you defo shouldn't have to pay for things that aren't of any benefit to you when you leave the property, when we were in private accommodation before we bought our house we always consulted the landlord on changes and he just used to deduct anything from our rent, we never really asked for much and he didn't live local so it saved him inconvenience just telling us to do what was needed, hopefully she will cover the cost as at the end of the day it will benefit her, when you leave the carpet will still be in good condition as your not going to ruin it so she doesn't have to replace it again xx

Morning ladies, came to work on my bike this morning! So hot now but managed to make it in on time lol!

Our landlady would probably make us pay for the flooring too, she is so unreasonable about everything! Hopefully she will eventually decide to cover the cost but even half would be good for her! She wouldn't have to do anything and would have new carpet when you leave but for half the price! x

My wedding plans for the day have gone out of the window, my stepson had a pretty bad seizure so were off to the doctors later.
We have been before & were referred to a "specialist" who completely dismissed it as night terrors!! He had seizures as a baby, we know what seizure's look like!!
They are getting more frequent, lasting longer & he's shaking more violently, hopefully today we get referred again but I'm not sure i want to see the same so called "specialist". I'm also going to ask if they can source us a bed alarm or something so that we have a track of every seizure, as for all we know we could be missing lots as they happen whilst he's asleep.

Morning everyone. LO had another bad nights sleep. He seems sniffly too and just not at himself was crying this morning and wrenching at same time. I think it's his back teeth coming though. Gonna have a lazy day today.

    Good luck today Emmilou

Flossie we had same problem, floor in kitchen is looking grubby and is hard to keep. Asked landlord about changing it but no. I was like we are here 4 years and it was prob down a good few years before that so it's in need of changing. Could guarantee you once we move out he will change it. I'm not gonna bother changing if myself as don't plan on being here forever.

MrsMW what Shake is it? My friend is doing a shake diet too but I don't think I could stomach it and love my food too much lol

Hope your LO is ok mrs r and use get some answers!
