I had a car booked into a garage in Aberdeen. The night they refused to take the car being awkward the place burnt down- I wouldn't be surprised if they'd done it for insurance the dealership in question was dodgey!

Don't think it was, won't know until the fire brigade have done their investigations but it's a huge amount of businesses in the town affected by it, not just one little garage,

Gf that looks terrible. Watched the video on your link you. I was imagining a little repair garage not a massive warehouse!

Michelle she told me she hated me and to remove myself from every aspect of their life. That's why I'm now struggling when she's trying to pretend like it never happened. I don't think we are going to actively tell her. Just not bring it up with ideas etc. We had already budgeted £100 so hopefully if we can get one done cheap enough then shouldn't be too much over budget.

House is plodding along. They are doing all the searches at the moment. No news yet about if I'll get life insurance. That's the only worry..

Morning all..... Had a rubbish nights sleep.

I'm dreading going to work which is never a good start to the day... Ah well, needs must.

Money us tight again at the minute but that's cos I pull everything out if my account to cover the first of the month bills. Be alright after Monday once they've all gone out. Can't actually believe it's Feb on Monday!! Where has January gone??

That is pure evil Emily, I knew there was always trouble when you lived there but just thought it was sister- sure you will get a cake, even if it is just s supermarket one - hope the house moves along- sure you will get insurance, just might have to pay a little more- then once you have your own place you should feel loads better :-) xxx

I had a better sleep and woke up feeling a lot better today, when I was at the dentist yesterday I convinced oh to register and get q check up so he's away this morning for the verdict I'm sure it won't be as bad as he thinks lol

I've took LO to nursery. Came back and sorted the washing and hoovered up.

Sorted the conservatory out as lots of big empty boxes in there so loaded them in the car and will take them to the tip.

I have been looking at a lodge break away for h2b's bday in April so just waiting for him to confirm with his work and will book it, it's two night stay and it's Right on a loch so he will get to go fishing and were taking pooch too xx

I'm not sure what to do for OH's birthday on the 27th Feb. It will be our 5 year anniversary too. He has to work in the day so we will have to do something in the evening, but not sure what. Bearing in mind the time of the year in relation to the wedding, I don't want to spend mega bucks either! Will prob just be a meal out but feel that's a bit boring!

Oh yep, when I was in work yesterday, one of the lead mws said to me she needed to talk about me going out in community. I said yep that's fine, I've been given where I wanted to go, she was amazed at my enthusiasm, she said she was awaiting a negative response like everyone else.

Just seen a car dealer near me is offering a car MOT and service saver voucher for £109.95 which includes the MOT obviously and a 50 point service check and you get free labour for 12 months after purchase should any work need doing. Any parts required or oils etc are charged on top, but this seems like quite a good deal to me?? Some places here you'd pay £39.99 or so for the MOT and then a further £150+ at least for the service. You get a free 4 wheel balance and service and front wheel alignment too.

I've had an email from 30n saying they've introduced a cheaper tariff. Paying £65 a month at the moment, just got a quote based on the new tariff and it's come up as £49 per month. Don't mind if I do - thank you very much!

Also just exchanged some reward points for £20 worth of high street vouchers :)

We pay about £45-£50 rhough summer but it's gone up to £70 through the winter

It's just electric, we don't have gas. On an economy 7 tariff as well as we use more energy at night.

I've taken the car to the garage today to get the wing mirror replaced. They said the mirror should come in today. If it doesn't I'll leave the car with them as I don't expect to need it until Saturday, and I don't like driving it with the casing hanging off.

Ec, yes it will however I will be on call as well during that time.

Spoke with my mum earlier on, all is good, they got back into their house last night about 7pm, everyone had to have a police escort back home. Roads are still shut at the moment to traffic but you can get through walking.

The local carnival group have lost everything, their floats, all their decor, chairs, lighting etc etc etc. One local company have already donated a float to them,this year was a big one, the 120th anniversary.

That's without the businesses that have gone. Thing is, the land has been given persmission to build on, there is something with the council stalling it at present, there is no reason for it to have been started on purpose, the sad thing is, are they now going to think what's the point of rebuilding? Many jobs and people's livelihoods gone.

My car went in to the dealer yesterday as oh took it to Blackpool at the weekend and managed to get water in the window switches so now my windows go up and down of their own accord. He does my head in I can use it with no problems he takes it once and breaks it so my trip to edinburgh tomorrow is going to be great fun as the replacement part doesn't come in until Friday

Well. Three years of anger and frustration have just been keyboard warriored into my laptop and sent to @dv@nt1s a debt collecting companh that have been harassing our home phone for the last three years looking for a Mr and Mrs Naisbitt- every time they ring we tell them they dont use that number but it doesn't dtop them.

I've advised that the calls must stop immediately or I will not hesitate to take legal action sue for harrassment!

Theyve called everyday for the last two weeks and I've had enough
