Wedding Forum - GENERAL CHINWAG THREAD w/c 24th October...

I have babies on the brain, I try not to go on too much with friends who aren't interested so sometimes it spills out in other places :P

Afternoon ladies, hope we're all well. Absolutely snowed under at work at the moment. We've just entered our busier period and this is the first time we've been so severely under staffed at this time of year. We have a new lady starting with us on 7th Nov which will ease some of the pressure administratively - at the moment I'm trying to do my own job and about 50 million other things at the same time, so hopefully I'll be able to pass those things over to her!

Time for a spot of lunch so thought I'd pop on and have a catch up... got left over chicken and chorizo from dinner last night, yummy. :-)

There are twins on both sides for us too, because I was so sick, up until the 12 week scan several people wondered if it could be twins making it so horrendous. But nope, just the one naughty baby in there :)

Afternoon ladies.

Went to body pump this morning, home, quick shower and then took my daughter to a careers event at th college. Was a bit pointless really and not worth it but hey ho.

Home now, laundry in the drier, going to chill before heading back to the gym to go for spin.

Just checked in for our flights and printed boarding passes ready for tomorrow. Going to miss LO like crazy. First time I've ever been away over night from him but he will love staying with in laws.

I'm off to Manchester with my MOH today, going for a facial and rasul treatment then having afternoon tea at The M1dl@nd hotel, really looking forward to it as it will finish my week off nicely plus my MOH has been extremely stressed out with work recently, so needs a bit of relaxation time xx

Been out, done some shopping, treated myself to a new sports bra, sports top and a book. Only probs with the book, right now I am too tired to even focus on reading it. Desperately need to hoover up as well but cannot find the energy.

Joseph has decided that morning starts at 5:30am. He doesn't sleep after his feed, and stays awake until late morning. Yesterday I managed to sleep through some of his chatter, not this morning. Hubby was nice as he slept through Joseph feeding, so took him into another room eventually so I got another half hour. In fairness to Joseph though he slept from 8:50pm until 5:45am.

Had a day of just doing nothing- was feeling up bit out of sorts for most of the day but picked up now- will be nice to have an extra hour in bed tomoz!

Morning all

Slept awful last night, did not get the extra hour in bed that's for sure.

Hubby has lost his v5 for his van, and it's most likely because I or someone else have moved it, not him.

Had a lovely weekend.
Lazy morning yesterday then shopping.just watched a few films in the evening :)

Today had a clean of TH house and ironing in the morning then went to the pub to watch the football. Cooked oh a good lunch as he had a few too many at the pub and now playing l3g0 :)

Been desperate for a chilled weekend for months now!

Well finally started our Xmas shopping.... Step daughter is now done, the eldest wants money so she's done, step son is having an pad and my LO I'll do in a couple of weeks then it's just a few bits for parents etc!

Hoovered through and did an old school aerobics sesh from utub3 and then did 30 day shr3d.....

Chilling out now waiting for SCD results!

Joseph didn't do too badly with the extra hour. We had a late night as we went to a celebration of a wedding that was back in August. We were going to the earlier part so took Joseph as there were people who wanted to meet him. Plus it started at 5:00 so a babysitter would have had to put him to bed. We expected to leave at 7:00, and gave him his evening bottle at 6:00 as normal, then hoped he might nap in his pram. Some chance, there was far too much happening. Things ran late as well so we left at 8:15. He had at least had a long nap in the afternoon, and slept on the walk home. We got him to bed at about 9:45, he went to sleep gone 11:00. Apart from waking at 1:45 (after the clocks changed) which just involved a quick breast feed to settle him, he went through to 5:45. Then he went back over until 8:00. Otherwise it's been a normal day, he slept on the way to church and on the way back after lunch. He's gone to bed at 7:00 as normal and was asleep by 7:40.
