Wedding Forum - GENERAL CHINWAG THREAD w/c 24th October...

It's been a nice quiet evening. Joseph went to sleep about 15 minutes after we put him in his cot, and has slept since, he was exhausted. I'm hoping he doesn't wake when we go to bed this time. I've done some expressing and my Pilates exercises, neither of which I've done in a few days. I'm really sleepy now, I really hope Joseph sleeps better tonight.

Morning all- how is it Monday already?! The weekends go waaayyyy to quick- wish I could just stay in bed for a couple more hours. Half term this week so means OH either works from home or goes in from like 10-2pm!

Overdid it a bit at the weekend and went to bed at 8pm last night woopsy.
Off to get flu and whooping cough jab in a bit, not sure if they will give it to me while I've still got a cold but it's easier to go there and talk to the nurse rather than try and get through on the phone!

Me and OH booked our honeymoon Sunday, totally opposite of where we wanted to go butts better and I prefer it so alls good

We were going to go to turkey, but looking at places in travel agents we've chosen Dominican Republic for a week all inclusive, we get honeymoon suite and everything,lol.weve booked to go the Tuesday after our wedding on the Saturday and we can't wait. Xx

Thanks Ladies and how lovely would love to do the xmas markets but never get round to it :) I would love to go to the Seychelles for our honeymoon but we have decided in Rome instead

How lovely booking your honeymoon to somewhere warm when its so cold out, I can't wait to book ours but as ours is not until 2018 we need to wait until April for the new details to be able to book it.

Got spoilt today. A beautiful watch and perfume from my sisters and money from mum and dad to buy some maternity clothes

Not feeling very alive today had a rubbish nights sleep... will need coffee on a drip to get me through today but Oh well. OH is on the mend not too happy about the amount of tablets he needs to take but he seemed more himself this morning :)

Darn I didn't know it was take that presale day, I've managed to get 02 presale every time before for my mum but I was too late today. oopsy.

I asked her if she was fussed and she's not so I'm off the hook anyway :) I didn't know @m@zon did presale tickets, that's good to know :)

I'm so excited for the GBBO final tonight and also really sad it will be the last one on BBC.

108 per ticket wow that's expensive but I'm sure it will be totally worth it. I can't even spend 52 to go and see Iron Maiden/Shinedown next year.

I paid 85 to go to download for a day this year but there were so many bands you got your monies worth haha, DL I would love to see take that but I would want to take my sister and mum and they won't go unless its all 5 of them

Danielle, our first night was so busy and three of us had been partying the night before, we struggled, was so hard.

I've just got veggies prepared for dinner tonight, doing a roast, still in pjs, Aunt Flo started making an appearance this morning so not only have I stomach ache, my toe is throbbing. First night at work was not too bad as I spent most of it just going to the room and back to the desk so not a huge amount of walking, the next night was tough and last night boy it hurt. I've taken pain killers but does not seem to be working. The bruising is not as bad, swollen a little and the bruising on the nail is coming out more,

Hey all- thanks for the well wishes- yes 17 years is a lifetime together already and I cannot wait to spend a million more together- we have literally been through anything life can throw at us and survived so I'm sure we can survive marriage :-)

Thanks Michelle. Lol, yeah Danielle, I'm expecting it to be fab, although the last tour I also paid loads but seats were incredible.

Mmmmm roast dinner GF, can I come?

I'm not doing a roast now, just got back from the dentist and hubby said lets get take out instead as it will be too late when it is ready.

Finally got a cap that fits my mouth, feels good compared to what I had and the temporary one came off so quickly, the last temporary one didn't. That one was doomed from the start after having a bruised face as well.

GF it sounds like you deserve a take out. Sounds like nights are luck of the draw. One night when I was in induction, a Sunday night, only three of us were on the ward. One was brought in about 10:30pm as her waters had gone 24 hours before, and she needed an induction agent straight away. I needed an exam and induction agent about 3:00am. The other girl was out of options and booked in for c-section the following morning. In between the two inductions we were all asleep and Wendy didn't need to do a thing. Other nights there was lots going on. Hannah who was with me in the delivery suite also had an ok night, as I was in there the whole time she was on shift. She had ARM, the routine checks, a clip on the baby's head, and from five hours in topping up the epidural, then it went to c-section just at handover time so she wasn't involved in the delivery. We spent most of the night chatting and listening to Classic FM until I fell asleep down to the combination of gas and air and epidural. She said herself it was one of the most relaxed nights she'd had.

Hope you are good, woken up to a very foggy morning here but the sun is starting to break through. I woke for a wee at some point last night, never checked my phone to see the time until i was dozing off and a text came through on hubby's phone, his one goes off again if it's not answered, so it did and that's when I checked the time, 0150hrs!!!!!!!! Not impressed, woke him and he said it was 33!!!! What the heck are they doing texting at that time of the morning? Took an age to get back off then

I'm loving all the talk of babies but not ready to have one yet, want to "try" and buy a house first.......if we can ever afford one......on the plus side only half a day at work tomorrow and get to spend the evening with a good friend.
