Just checked my advantage points and now have just over £60 on there. That will come in handy this christmas.

Was checking the bay last night for iphones, currently highest bidder on one which seems an excellent buy but I know I will get out bidded on it but if not it will save me instead of getting a contract.

He has to wait a week to hear then he has to do a fitness test so wouldn't be until after Christmas that he would start, could be the end of Jan/ Feb so it would only be a few months until he could change it over.

Yeah my OH is my next of kin in work, he said even the guy that interviewed him said it was stupid but it's just the rules.

If I don't get this one I shall phone my service provider and see what deals they can do on a second phone for me. Will tell them I ahve researched and how much I could get it for and see what they say.

Spuds peeled ready for dinner tonight. Laundry load on, thought I had best check to see if any needed doing, there was a smallish load so decided best to do it rather than wait until Thursday when it will be more.

Leanne, I am whilst on a temporary contract, once I get permanent hours we do a two week in, two week out rotation. It's caused uproar but hey ho.

Popped out quickly and posted the parcels that have been paid for.

Great news on the mortgage Emily.
I forced hubby to view our new build even though we could only just afford the stamp duty. When we said to the sales lady we love it but stamp duty will cripple us, she said if we could act quick (which we could as we were first time buyers in rented), we could negotiate a deal where the developer would pay the stamp duty. Win!
