Morning all. Hope you are having a fab time IDL.
Will be off to work soon, then plan is to go to the gym and get back on it after an unsuccessful week last week.

Just had a cry to OH on the phone. I'm so fed up with all these issues between my family and OH.

They want him to sort things with my sister and he's not interested. Which I don't blame him at all. He sent mum a text to apologise for the things that were said earlier in the year. Asked if a line could be drawn and start a fresh. I was so thankful for him making the first move but it's like mums just thrown it back in his face.

I thought I'd be waking up so happy this morning and be able to talk to mum and dad about the wedding etc but just feel so down about all. All because my sister is jealous of what I've got

Boy is it cold out there today!!!!

Thank goodness that is now my nights finished, should be doing a long day tomorrow but someone kindly swapped as that is just horrid of whoever done the off duty.

IDL, much as we love seeing you, will you bog off and enjoy your holiday please.

I know you are feeling down hearted but your mum did reply. I wish she had said a closer time than new year but at least she text back. Why will your OH draw a line with your parents but not your sister? If he is going to do it, i think he needs to draw a line with both. Could this have something to do with your mums response?!

Thanks ladies. It was too easy for me to think that because OH had apologised then we could move on and draw a line under everything that happened and not dwell on the past

Mrs MW, sorry to hear you are still having troubles, I thought it was on the road to getting better after your Mum called your OH up after the accident.

So did we GF. So OH text mum last night thinking everything would be fine this morning and we could move on but it's just like we are stuck in a rut and they can't move on

Not surprising GF. All quite scary at the moment, especially with Brussels being on a high alert.

Morning ladies, so so cold here today and work is no better! I was the first one in so the office was freezing, can barely feel my fingers to type!

My hands were freezing in the car, I started the engine up so I could put my front windscreen on, then scraped the side windows, but the time I got in the car the front screen was defrosted, drove off but the car had not warmed up at all. My hands were frozen.

It's freezing here too. Not looking forward to going out soon to do the food shop

Sounds like there will be a lot of angry parents wanting answers when they arrive home GF.

Morning all :)

Was woken up this morning by the radiators ticking as the pipes expanded gr. epc has been done for the house this morning so our house ad should be complete this week.

Made some wheat biscuits with milk and warmed them up to ttry and warm myself up!

Never tried yoga em but it should really help your hip .. I've been told I should do it for my back but I wouldn't know where to start!

It's annoying they're puttjng it off until next year mmw2b the only light at the end of the tunnel is at least they didn't ignore it altogether.

I've put my running watch on charge with the intention of attempting a run tonight as mum has hassled me for three days now to go out find it hard to be motivated when it's so cold and I know it'll affect my ability to walk!

I knew I had a tonne of work to complete last night Flossie so I made a list.

Ones a work to do list
Ones a wedding to do list
Then the last one is a accident / back treatment to do list

Then because we're getting more responsiblility and accountability with the slight change in our roles I've also made a suggestions list as to what we could implement as a team to drive performance and minimise costs
One of which is a training manual so also made a list of potential training points and evidence they would have to put in.

Lists lists lists.

Is it sad that I enjoy writing lists haha

I also love a good spreadsheet

Hate spreadsheets!!!!! Bane of my life.

I will miss my wedding spreadsheet when the wedding is over lol, I will have to find something else I can create a spreadsheet for.

My Wedding spreadsheet is getting out of hand. I have ended up using it as a mail merge for envelopes and invites too. Bonkers!

I've also resorted to lists in the form of playlists for all the songs we like that could potentially be for our first dance so we can play the playlists over and over again to decide our favourite for the first dance then the ones we don't choose have playing in the background for the weddjng breakfast .. I think I'm hooked on lists

lol you are mad I hate lists never make them except for Christmas cards that's it. didn't do any for the wedding just remembered what I needed to do and I didn't forget anything hubby insisted on making a list for the guests which he did
