Morning all. Hope you are all good.
Myself and a colleague who live near each other and have kids the same age were worried yesterday. Numerous police vehicles and ambulances were heading towards our homes, we called the children and they were all OK and had not heard anything. A while later I saw an ambulance being escorted in by three police cars, found out a woman was found 'seriously ill' with police still in attendance at the property in the small town next to ours, this morning it is a murder investigation. So sad as the woman is the same age as myself so if she is from this area I could possibly have gone to school with her.
Day off today, off to the gym at lunchtime and then again this evening. Need to look at my uni stuff today, the joys of having a student card again just used it for my first discount.

Hi everyone. Haven't been on here in so long thought I'd pop in and say hello. Hope everyone is well!! I haven't had a chance to read the whole thread but Emma congrats on the new job, Jen hope the pregnancy is going well and the rest of work goes quickly for you. I'm now just over 30 weeks. My maternity leave starts on the 13th march but I finish up around the 8th. Can't wait as the 12 hour shifts are getting very tiring and I've been seeing physio for pelvic and hip pain. I have a rescan on Tuesday as baby is a little small and my placenta is quite low. Jen have you chosen any names for your boy? We are having a surprise, we have a few girls names but can't agree on boys names at all lol. Even though baby isn't here yet we have been thinking about having him or her christened on our first wedding anniversary followed by a meal with our close family. Think that will be a lovely way to celebrate our first anniversay

Where we are a small island as well, when things like this happen, and we've had a fair few since christmas as well it makes it seem like it is happening too often. People are saying that we are becoming like London and that but when you look at the number of people living here to the number of people living in london and the crime rates, we are a small community considering. I am sure that in the next day or so a name will be released, someone has mentioned a mercy killing, but I have not seen anything to mention that on the news sites. Apparently the emergency services were called the day before there as well. Only speculation until the truth comes out, until then I shall wait. Her family and friends will be going through a tough time.
The tickets have arrived for Kaiser Chiefs next month, Phew. Was getting worried as never ordered them from the usual site.
Hey Danielle! We have a short list of names but probably won't decide until he's born. It's getting harder the closer the time comes. Good luck with the scan, we have our final growth scan on the 7th, excited to see how chunky he's got :)

Sometimes you need to wait until you see them and see what names suits them. The amount of times we have peeps say this is their name, then go and change it as they feel it does not suit them.

Last time we had our boy name and girl name and that was it. It's a torture this time. Anything hubby liked I don't and anything I like he doesn't lol. I'm feeling very disorganised this time around. I have nothing sorted yet. Really need to start getting some baby stuff out of the loft!

We're actually moving in on Monday but are going to start decorating tonight and spend the weekend doing as much as we possibly can.
Still feels so surreal... can't believe we finally have our own home!

I need to start packing a bag really, I had some weird abdo pain the other night and I was actually more concerned I had nothing packed. I do have a pile of stuff for me in the nursery, just needs to be put into an actual bag!

AF clearly hates me, now on week 3 and have no meds left to stop her either, yay.....not! LO has slapped cheek syndrome and his reflux has returned. Not going to let that get me down tho. I'm actually having a good day today. Hospital has said my grandfather is medically fit to come home :D

Busy day today. Need to cook dinner for OHs friends coming tonight and give the house a tidy. It's not too bad if I'm honest. Bathroom needs a clean but will do that when I shower. Cut OHs hair for him. Cubs swimming practice ready for the gala in a few weeks. Then rush home to be here before his friends. Not looking forward to them coming if I'm honest. I was good friends with them at college and tried to stay in touch after but didn't happen. OH still plays football with the guys though.

Afternoon all
Had such a busy shift at work, there was not loads of women in, but we just seemed to go from one to another to another all the time and no stopping.
Straight in to the laundry, I've always asked hubby that if i am working, and the pile of laundry in our room is getting big to bring it down. He never! Had all his stuff from when he was away plus all his work stuff, plus whatever I put there. So first load is on, only about another four to go. Would love to come in and sit down and do nothing,

Landlord has paid for all decorating supplies and asked if would mind painting the flat and re-wallpapering the bedroom that got flooded in exchange for a month free rent. We said we would do it for him but not to expect it to be perfect. I am currently regretting saying yes. Wallpapering a room with a 12ft ceiling is no fun! Been at it all day and looks like we have done nothing lol. Smells a lot better in there tho.

Korey has decided today he does not want to wear a nappy. He has ripped 3 off and keeps shouting and kicking me when trying to put one on, so I've given up. First thing he does... goes to his potty and wee's on the floor next to it, laughs, then looks at me with a proud look on his face. Almost kid but your ment to wee in the potty.

Went to the warehouse this morning hoping to get a f1tb1t, they sell them at a really good price. They didn't have any. Might just g a cheaper step tracker then..
Got myself a swimming cap though. I'm going to start swimming before work and a cap means my hair won't get wet. :)

we got 3 wee wee's on the potty today :D then he brought me a nappy and said 'on'. A friend said I shouldn't of put a nappy on until bed time as it will confuse him if he can pick and choose in the day but he is only 1 so I'm not expecting him to be potty trained any time soon lol.
Had turkey dinner for tea at a friends and it was lovely. OH said I need to take note and cook him a meal like that...Cheeky git always gets home cook meals. Although tbf to him I don't do sunday dinners lol.

Thanks Emily. I'm stuffed, eaten so much this weekend, I'm putting on so much weight! I'm supposed to be losing it! I'm going to be the fat bridesmaid at this rate! Hang on, I already am the fat bridesmaid. Ahhhhhhh I really need to re-learn self control. I've just put so much weight on since getting married it's depressing. I was so lovely and slim and toned when I got engaged.
