Good Morning fellow Brides and Grooms to be I have a question that I need some advice on. Do you think it would be rude of me asking my guests too NOT wear a certain colour to our Wedding? Thank you in advance Congratulations everyone and Good Luck X

As long as you ask politely I don't see it being a problem. Some couples as guests to wear a particular colour so doing the reverse sounds ok.

Had a follow up appointment with paediatrician today for little boy. She’s very happy with his progress, although he’s still well behind where he should be for nearly two. All tests are normal so she’s just going to keep an eye on things and review in six months. She’ll chase up speech therapy in the meantime, as we haven’t heard from them in ages.

Had a capret fitter out to the new house today to provide us with a quote to fit carpet into the whole house (minus half the kitchen and bathrooms) quote was £1500 with underlay and fitting....other half think its a ridiuclous quote and we could get it cheaper then preceeded to rage at me because I didn't get a copy of the measurements...Men!!!

On the other side of things though my final fitting went well for my dress and only one month to go now!!

£1500 to me seems really good price- just to do hall landing, stairs and bathroom was that much, but we did choose a proper expensive quality carpet that will last :-)

IDL have you been to Dubai? I know you have travelled lots so thought you might have? For our honeymoon we have a 24 hour stop over so was just wondering what you would do? Or if anyone else has been what would you suggest- OH hates heights so going up the highest building is a no no x

Hi Michelle. That is somewhere I haven't been to. Just doesn't appeal to me so not visited. Sorry can't help much. People I know who have been and actually like it said they love the shopping.

Stacy, that price sounds reasonable. We paid around £2.5k to do floor in our entire house 5 years ago.

Sounds reasonable to me Stacey. We had two bedrooms and stairs done and I think it was around £2000, but that included removal and disposal of old carpets as well.
