Good Morning ladies! It is lovely and sunny, the mountains look georgous today :) I am going to my local hospital at lunchtime for an appointment, I will be finding out what hearing aids I am going to have so I am a bit excited but really anxious about going too. My mam is out of hospital which is awesome, she has to go back daily for an injection for 4 weeks but she is so much happier to be home. There is drama though, no one on my dads side of the family has bothered about her, not even my grandad, even though she has been seriously ill. She is at risk of losing her arm for goodness sake! and she has MRSA! I don't know if I should invite any of them to my wedding, I don't think they deserve to be there. They only want to be there in the good times and not the bad :/ I went to a wedding fair on sunday with FH, it was awesome! I need to find one in North Wales - do you ladies know of any wedding fairs?

CQ, good your mum is out, sorry to hear your dad's side of the family are not enquiring about her health.
I've popped out to the shop, was hard work, my joints ache and so tired, got some food that I thought I might like to eat, got home, packed it away and thought nope, don't fancy it now, typical.

Good luck Celtic Queen. Hopefully they can give you some of those really tiny ones that go right inside the ear and you forget they're there. That's really sad that your Dad's family haven't bothered about your mum. I know it's slightly more distant than your Dad himself, but I'm sure if my mum was ill in hospital and my dad's parents were still alive they'd at least be asking after her, even if visiting wasn't practical (nanna was blind and had bad arthritis so going out wasn't easy). His brothers might not have paid so much attention, but they were never so close anyway. I do hope she recovers fully and doesn't have to lose the arm. MRSA is a really nasty one.

My son has a busy afternoon. He has cross country then after school he has a rugby match, gutted as love going to watch him play rugby but my daughter has the dentist and then I am back for parents evening. Goodness knows when I shall get time to cook dinner, the dentist appointment is at 1710 then parents evening starts at 1900. Not really going to have time between to cook and eat.

I haven't had a sub in years. Would love one. Love the meatball one too.
I took LO swimming this morning then we went for lunch and popped to green supermarket. It was his first day out and about with no nappy and he didn't have any accidents. He refused to use toilet when we were out but uses his potty as soon as we got home.
My car has been making a funny noise when I brake for a few weeks then yesterday a light came on. Had to leave it into garage this afternoon. Praying it's not a big job!!

Emily that might explain quite a lot, although it's a shame it's been left so long to be picked up. Adults often don't get tested unless it's really impacting on their life, like if it's causing problems at work or in higher education. Part of it is that the adult themselves would need to put themselves in for the tests, and a lot wouldn't think to do it. My husband thinks he has slight aspergers, but it's never been officially diagnosed, he just did an online test and got a score just over the line. If it can be spotted when a child is young it's so much better, as the child can learn to deal with it.

Elinor that's how I'm feeling. Like it explains a lot about her behaviour and how she treated us. I don't think it is and excuse as you shouldn't be horrible to people and she was. But should we have sat back and taken it for longer. We took it o the chin for 3 years until it got too nasty then we said something.

I had my midwife appointment today, postponed from last week because the midwife wasn't in last week. Mostly everything is fine but she said I'm measuring a little bit large. I forget the exact number, I'll have to look in my notes when I get a chance. It wasn't by much, I remember thinking that if that measurement was for 32 weeks not 31 it would just about be ok, and I'm 31 plus 5 so closer to 32 weeks. I've got to go for a growth scan next week, so fingers crossed they're happy with the size of the baby and I can just continue with my midwife appointments. If they think the baby is too large I might have to see the consultant, and maybe get tested for diabetes (presumably gestational diabetes). I'm not liking the idea of having a huge baby. Hopefully I've just got a little bit too much extra fat, which I can easily lose after the birth.

Just checked, the measurement was 34.5 cm, so even at 32 weeks it's slightly over, but only slightly. I gain weight so easily, I'm hoping that's all it is. If I checked my weight and tried not to gain more than is necessary I'd end up not eating enough.

Evening all.
Back home now, daughter had a good dentist appointment and fixed her fillings at the front. When she was younger she was messing around with a friend and she accidentally elbowed her in the mouth chipping them. The dentist done a good job though and they are the best that's been done as they've fallen out a couple of times.
Parents evening was ok, they all say how intelligent my son is but he messes about too much, if he never messed his work would be outstanding

TFI Friday..... My manager is on a half day today so I can ease up a little this afternoon lol...
I'm at the doctors at 5.30 with my blooming finger so hopefully they can give me other antibiotics
OH should have been home last night but they need him on another site today so asked him to stay.... He had to cancel today's dentist appointment but on the up side, we don't list £200 wages! Needed a cuddle though but I'll just have to wait til tonight
Off to Matlock tomorrow with the kids and meeting my sister there with my twin nephews.... Get some fresh air and play on the arcade machines.... The kids will love it

It's my mums birthday today so she's coming here around 8.30 to open her presents then taking her to the garden centre she wants to go to.
LO slept all night in his own bed which is the first time in a long time bless him. Just put his eye drops in and he's now having his breakfast.
We've got our church meeting tomorrow 2-5pm then got friends coming over for takeaway

Thank god its friday, this week has been manic! I realy needed anouther 48 hrs of office/lab time! On the plus side im getting a work laptop today! Which means i can now occassionaly work from home and i can also get ridof the crappy desktop!

Morning all, busy day today! End of the month so got lots to do in work and need to pop out at 12 to the vets, pooch is getting his booster jabs! Can't believe it's been a year already since he got his first ones!
Off to SIL's baby shower tomorrow, OH is dreading at as it is in his ex-step grandparents house who he hasn't spoken to for years! Fingers crossed it will be ok though! Going to go and see my parents on Sunday so quite a nice weekend planned :)
It's not payday for me until Monday which is annoying but I can't get excited as the money leaves my account as quick as it goes in!

We got paid Wednesday and it's all going on bills and the wedding! Boo.
OH got an email earlier this week about a job opportunity in California - we are very seriously considering it. We would be based in a place called Scotts Valley - looks amazing. I'm just keeping everything crossed.
Off out for a catch up with a couple of friends tomorrow whilst OH works and then up to see my cousin on Sunday - he hasn't met my OH yet!!! We will probably go to Church as well tomorrow evening.

Lindsey that sounds really exciting. I don't think I'd be brave enough to leave the UK, but it would be a lovely change. Yes it is a boy that I'm having. It might just be that he's going to be a large baby, but I'm hoping not, I don't fancy the idea of giving birth to a large baby. Hopefully I've just got a bit of extra fat or fluid.

Mrs M Wade 2 B I never bother with false nails, they sound like far too much hassle. Even for my wedding I just had a simple manicure to make sure my nails looked alright. My SIL broke a false nail on her wedding morning, and that pretty much confirmed it for me that it was easier just to stick with my own, however short they are.

Aw EC I feel for you. I actually have a PHOBIA of childbirth, but I guess if he's big it means he's a healthy baby and that's the main thing. I will be insisting on having everything available as I don't cope with pain very well! When is your due date? You must be getting really excited now.
Well if it's not California it may well be Durham, which is a good 6.5 hours drive from all of my family. OH's family are all up there, but property is so much cheaper and OH thinks we'd have a better quality of life. I can see me getting homesick either way. Sounds silly, but since learning of my friend's Dads passing, I keep looking at my own parents and realise that they are getting old - Dad is 64 and Mum is 66. Not old, but quite scary to think that what age I was when they were my age!!!
