Was gonna pop to the big yellow supermarket before work this morning to get the alcohol for parents..... Does anyone know what time they sell it from as I don't want a wasted journey? They open at 7am but I'm sure there are restrictions to selling it!

Didn't sleep well again, probably down to eating too much. I'm probably going to help out in the nstivity this morning but I might try to escape at lunchtime when someone else comes in as I'm there all day tomorrow, probably including get out, and then driving from Cardiff to Northumberland on Wednesday.

Thanks Michelle... I have just rung the local store and they are open 6am til midnight and I can get it between those hours so I'm gonna go before work in about 10 minutes.....

I have made a start on Xmas day veg it's got to cool then goes in the freezer I see them do this on all the cooking programmes so ok trying it this year to save time, sprouts, cauliflower and broccoli cooked smells lovely in here haha xx

Just got back from doing the food shop. Bless this little old man- he came up to me and LO at the till and said he'd seen LO in the trolley and thought how well behaved he was. He shook LO hand and said merry Xmas and gave him a £1. How lovely.

Morning everyone. Having a lazy morning with also then we are going to santas grotto later when OH finished work. Me and OH had a drink last night and wrapped some of LO Santa presents. We were pretending to ourselves it was Xmas eve since I'm working Xmas eve night lol all is left to do is OH to build some stuff then lay them out. He's leaning the stocking for me to do in the morning when I get home lol
OH still has no van which is a pain. He's had to borrow one but will be giving it back Wednesday.

I don't mind as we will only be here till midday only me and the girl who sits opposite me in and the boss he locks up one year we were only here an hour so its a waste of time booking the day off. Only my son and dil on Christmas day for lunch then we are all going to other sons where my granddaughter is

The only good thing about working over Xmas is that you aren't expected to cook lol we go to my sisters the only downside is it's an hours drive away. We are undecided whether to stay or come home that night. My job for Xmas is to bring the crisps, dips, nuts etc to have in the evening lol
We got LO hair cut yesterday. He's had it cut a few times before but this was his first "big boy" haircut lol he had longish hair so got a right bit off it. It really suits him but he looks so grown up!!
