Morning all- off work today- not doing anything- had another busy wedding weekend so just nice to chill and catch up on washing!

It's raining here so can't even go out

Been up since 1230, I woke up and thought I may as well get up as the alarm was going off at 1pm. Been to the appointment and he's giving her some capsules to take. She needs a blood test first which I will do for her in the morning when I get home.

Evening all ...... hope your doing ok , was beautiful today but oh so cold, I go out on a Tuesday to help my friend run her babies dancing class, they are so cute .. youngest is 1 oldest is 3 1/2... should have seen them today all came and bought ballet shoes

What a lovely surprise Tiffany. Hubby got bonus bonds for a monthly award, we used them to eat out a few weeks ago.

Evening all_ been training staff today- really tiring but hot fab feedback do makes it all worth it!

Watching all the news on 88C news channel. Horrible. Thoughts go to the families and loved ones of the 3 innocent victims.

I'd almost convinced myself I'm safe working in that area because security and intelligence is so good. I have to believe it otherwise I'd not get on the tube every morning.

Thankfully hubby is now on his way home. I won't sleep though until he is home safe with me. Just fixing him some dinner now, poor darling is starving hungry.

Hope everyone has managed to stay safe, such awful news. Something as well that could have been a whole lot worse had the police etc not acted so promptly and efficiently. Sat here watching the news channel with tears.

Morning all.

As a Mother myself, the one thing that really got to me was that the woman who died first was on her way to pick her children up from school. Just the thought of those children waiting for their Mum to get them and she does not turn up. It's so sad.

Well yesterday I had a right lazy one. I went to the gym in the morning,had a dodgy hamstring for a while, but yesterday it was playing up so decided I would not do the evening class I was booked in for and just rest. Sat on the sofa all afternoon watching television. Popped out to the shop quickly with hubby when he came home, finished cooking dinner and then again, sat in from of the television.

Think I have slept funny as well as my neck hurts this morning. It's something that plays up and ever since about a year or so ago, I was in theatre and myself and another midwife were struggling to keep a woman still. I did have a massage which helped it a lot. Think I need another one or the bone cruncher.

Well I've had a productive day really. Done a load of uni work this morning before the gym and another load when I got back. Made another dent in it thankfully.

Been on a lovely walk and fed the ducks today. Korey-James loved it bless him and even walked with mummy and nanna for a little while. The walk has also done me the world of good, I'm feeling a lot better and not as down as I have been.

Helping my mum and auntie to lose some weight before the wedding and have told them as a 'reward' I will buy them there outfits for the wedding. They are both aiming to lose 8 stone each! Personally I think this is too much to lose in 14 months! but they are doing it through the doctors so I'm sure the doctor will tell them to slow down if need be.

Fighting with the doctors again over Korey-James (would of thought they would learnt by now that I'm right 99% of the time when it comes to my son!) Apparently him walking on the side of his feet, his joints bending the wrong way and him being stupidly flexible is normal :/ Myself and my auntie (a paediatric nurse) have said he has hypermobility (I have it myself) but according to the gp he hasn't seen enough proof. He has ALL the signs and falls every 2-4 steps, he's had 2 black eyes, a fractured eye socket and cheek bone and now a broken tooth, despite OTT baby proofing. Even the local hospital has said there is a unlined condition causing all the problems. Think the next step is going above their heads and speaking to Korey's paediatrician which means waiting until mid may!

In so much pain tonight with my stomach. I'm having blood tests done next week. Really hope they show something up...

OH has gone to sisters this afternoon for Mother's Day meal but I decided not to go- we've invited her to our house for food 3 times and all 3 times she's made an excuse- now she has her own house she wants to cook and invite us do I've decided to snub her too- not being the bigger person but I really don't care- I'm not ever going to go,- I knows it's not very mature but she's such a brat!
