Had to go out in this awful weather this morning to pick my dogs food up. Back home in the warm now. Kids are going to Grandparents house soon to stay the night as OH and I are going out for a meal and some drinks :)

It's windy here but no rain, I've washed th covers from the small sofa just to see how they wash, they are on the line drying.

J said to just give in my notice and we will manage somehow, says I need a break and he has worked out finances and we will be fine for a while. I had to go for my daily medication in this horrible weather today, where I am the rain is really heavy and the mist is low on the mountains around my house. I spoke to my mam on the phone, she is on a strong antibiotic drip and its making her sleep all the time so at least she is getting some good sleep in hospital. I just hope there is no more damage to her bones caused by the infection, I hope they got her on the antibiotic in time.
I am having a quiet day, alone at the moment. My poor guy had insomnia again and was up still when I got up this morning at 11 so I told him to go and have a few hours.
This weather is making me think of sunny shores, does anyone have any holidays for this year planned? :) I am going to Amsterdam in March for my birthday for a week and in September I am going to Blackpool in a caravan for 5 days.

We have our honeymoon to mexico in June and then a week in a caravan with the kids and my parents in August. Can't wait for the nicer weather to arrive. Fed up with this rain and wind.

KatieH2B Mexico sounds lovely! how long are you going for? have you got any plans for things you want to do while you are there?. I haven't been on holiday with my parents for years, since I went to Berlin alone when I was 18 I have travelled alone, with friends or with my FH, mostly my FH. I do miss it sometimes although we will all be in Prague for my wedding, it must be nice to all be together like that. Is there a big difference between going on holiday with your parents as a child and as an adult in your opinion?

I love Mexico. I went 10 years ago for 2 weeks. Going this time for 11 nights. We are planning on doing lots of snorkeling and seeing the temples. I swam with Dolphins the last time I was there. It was amazing.
It's much better going on holiday with my parents now I'm a adult and have kids of my own. I'm happy to sit around and relax or go for a walk with them now I'm older. We can also have a few drinks together too :) We are really close and they only live up the road and we've been on holiday together a few times.

KatieH2B - Sounds fab! I hope you have an awesome time together. It is interesting how the relationship changes as you age, its nicee you can do those things :) I am still close to mine but I now live 4 hours away, I wish they lived closer but I don't regret leaving my hometown.
MrsWade2B - They sound really nice! Do the cravats fit your colour scheme or are they a different colour unique to the groomsmen? :)
JoannaS - I would love for my groom to have tails, they look so smart and I think because of his height he could pull them off, but he refuses lol.

They're a brown/gold that look lovely with the waistcoat he's chosen. OH and our LO are having a different colour waistcoat to the other groomsmen. Our colour is peach but the colour didn't suit OH at all so they're going to have peach buttonholes instead

Evening all- I'm sure some of you have felt like this too but at this moment I am wondering why on earth I am getting married if it's causing so much agro?!
before any wedding talk we were happily plodding on with life and then suddenly talk of a wedding and there are fallouts, opinions etc- is is actually worth i? Tonight I'm thinking nope- cba with it all- I'm not religious, I hate being the centre of attention, it's a lot of money even for a little wedding and why do I need a bit of paper to say I love someone?

Slept in til 8 this morning thankfully but I heard OH get in about 6.30 ish so he must have had an OK shift.
Need to sort the laundry out today and get some food in for the week but other than that, we are going to chill out!! Might go for a walk around Silverhill and get some fresh air....

Hi all. Yep I hear you on the falling out. We have had so many arguments, mainly due to stress of paying for everything and OH business being very quiet. Got to wonder what's the point sometimes.
Ouch Michelle sounds painful, may be perforated eardrum.
LO gave me a lay on today. I think we are going to visit my sisters grave today as it was her anniversary on Friday. It's about 50 miles away. I don't really like going to be honest, find it very difficult but my LO has never been so I should take him.

Can't believe it's almost 10am already..... I've not achieved much so far lol...
Took the washing out and put it in the dryer. That's all
OH will be in bed til about 12pm so I can't even go and get showered & dressed in case I wake him up!
Need to get some shopping in for this week....
Do you ladies have any ideas of low calorie lunches that I can do for work??

Morning. Still in bed as making the most of having no kids. OH and I went out for a lovely meal last night. We don't get to go out very often on a Sat night. Got home just after 10 and put a film on. It was a lovely evening. Will be getting up in a minute to put the beef in the oven ready for lunch.

Emm- I make soups for lunch and dip cracker bread or rice cakes in- I find soup quite filling, and then I will have a yoghurt and fruit and always have bananas so if I'm still hungry I have those.
Sometimes I need I sugar hit so I have some @lpen light choc bars in my draw :-)

Yeah I do like soup, I'm just not into making my own..... Tin soup is low in cals so I'd be ok with that I guess. I use need something different. Get fed up of salad and rice all the time.
I did do beans on nimble toast but that gets boring after a while!

Mil just phoned. She went to local hospital that was a waste of time. Said they don't know why his ear is bleeding but if it stops go to Drs tomorrow. If it doesn't stop then go to A and E. He's told mil he's not going to another hospital to be fobbed off

Hi everyone. Cocktail making and food was a success last night, ended up out after was a really good time. Not been out for years felt really good :). And typically a randomer decided to talk to us - nothing changes! Got in about 215 not feeling too bad now going to have a lazy day.

That's crap Mrs M. They need to find out why its bleeding - if it a cut in his ear or something more serious to do with infection possibly or like Danielle says perforated eardrum. Is there a different walk in centre he can go to?

Emm - get the SW meals they are tasty and I find a decent portion whereas the WW I find are tiny so you have to have something else with it. Have you tried tuna on toast? You can get the small tins of flavoured tuna from @ldi they are about 85 cals. Or a warmed through wholemeal pitta with lettuce and tuna/ meat. You could try putting different things in a salad to change it up. One of my caves for summer is lettuce, beef, boiled egg and beetroot.

Popped to the shop to get a couple of bits and ended up spending almost £60!!!!!
Hubby is hungover today, it was so funny last night. He was djing at the club, his friends were there with their kids so they came back to ours after for a bit, my daughter and her friend who was staying over slept in the lounge watching insidious, we went to bed and hubby fell out of bed just as it got to a scary bit in the film. I'm still chuckling about him on the floor with his pillows on his head!
