Wedding Forum - GENERAL CHINWAG THREAD w/c 1st February...

Wow, what a day I have had. Been totally non-stop just supporting my colleague to help her meet her deadlines tomorrow. Got one tender done and submitted but was hoping to have had both done and submitted by the time we went home today. I've just logged back on at home and will finish the second one tonight ready to submit in the morning - makes no sense her doing it as she would struggle and I would have to review/amend anyway so I may as well just do it myself and go over it with her after it has been submitted.

Not what I really need when I'm feeling so bloody cr@p!!

OH working til 6.30 tonight then going to his brother's straight after work to cut his hair so at least I have a bit more time before I need to make dinner.

Hubby currently cooking fish and ratatouille. I then have to go out to a church steward's meeting, which I don't particularly feel like doing, but this might be the last one before I step down to concentrate on being a mum.

Cleaned the house top to bottom. My sister popped round for a cuppa and LO just in the bath and then he's going to bed.

I still need to do my DVD then a bath for me and bed...

My car goes In The garage tomorrow so it's gonna be a rush job getting LO out of the house early enough to drop the car off, meet my mum, drop LO off at his dad's then get me to work.... Argggghhhhh, hate the thought of it already!

Oh well, child free weekend this weekend (apart from 2hrs Saturday where we see OH LO)

Not really Michelle, obviously seeing OH LO Saturday then he's booked in to have his tattoo done some more.... I'm hoping he's not working Saturday night but knowing OH he will!!

Chill out on Sunday and just enjoy the peace and quiet lol

He's still bunged up but he's getting through. He doesn't ever rest that's his problem.

Morning ladies. Was able to get a better sleep last night but still not great, but it was definitely an improvement on the last few nights. Blocked nose seems to be subsiding a little now but has been replaced with a horrible cough!

Working from home today. Need to finish off my tender this morning which needs to be submitted by 12 but after that I'm getting the duvet down and having a lazy day on the sofa! Ended up logging off at 9.30 last night so I'd say I deserve it!

Aw Flossie - it sucks doesn't it. I didn't finish until late either, but am working from home today and plan to be finished at 2pm as won't get paid overtime.

OH in Portsmouth today working so probably won't be home until late, but we've got some champagne chilling in the fridge so planning to have that tonight with a nice meal, but I need to go to the supermarket first!!!!

What p1ss3s me off the most is this wasn't even my work to do, it was my colleague's!!!

Tell me about it Flossie! Somehow I've ended up doing 3 other peoples jobs just recently, so flagged it in my supervision as am sick of taking the flack for others when it's not even my responsibility!

I've found my handbag that I want nice and cheap on the rainforest website. I am awaiting my credit card limit to be upped, hopefully it will do soon and i can make a special purchase.

My colleague isn't even online yet - takes the piss a little that I finished her work for her last night in my own time, submitted it for her this morning and she can't even log on on time nor have I heard from her to see if I need her to do anything! Cheek of it!

I'm going to try and catch up on Stella now. How I've kept going until now I do not know. Starting to feel a little lightheaded though when doing things, just put the laundry in the dryer and another load in the machine.

Prob the mattress Em, we changed ours a few weeks ago and I never sleep well anyway regardless, but OH is always out like a light and he was finding it hard to sleep for a couple of nights so think it was just the change!

Colleague just emailed me saying she didn't get back home til gone 8pm last night as there were delays in London with the trains - I emailed back saying I logged off at 9.30pm!!! (Doing her work - though I didn't say that). No sympathy from me!!!!

That's really cheeky of her Flossie after everything you did to help her!
You definitely deserve to switch off and chill for the rest of the day.

Right, need to venture out and get away from this dull work I'm doing - off to the P0st Off1ce and M0rr1sons. Have no make up on and look a mess, so hope I don't bump into anybody I know!!
