Afternoon all. Jeez, I think I sweated out half a stone at work today, was so very very warm. Now home and sitting in the sunshine trying to up my fluid intake as got a bit of a headache.

Just dropped hubby and pooch off at MIL's as they are grooming him today... poor bugg3r is roasting in this heat with all his fur. Bloody hot out there, car was registering 33 degrees. Hope the theatre is air conditioned tonight for our show rehearsal otherwise I am going to turn into a puddle on the floor!!

So hot in Cardiff. I met up with some of the other mums from the antenatal class for lunch, and the babies were all far too hot. I was relieved to get home, I wiped Joseph down with a cool cloth before I did anything else. It's supposed to be better tomorrow, and we've got a fan at home. I'm going down with a cold and Joseph seems bunged up too, so not looking good for a good night tonight. I might have to take paracetemol for a headache which I hardly ever do. At least Joseph has been in a good mood at times. We got our first proper laugh today.

Wanted to blow the pool up today but couldn't find the hose! No idea where I've put it and pools way to big to be running back and forward with a bucket going to have to look for it tomorrow if I have the energy. Poor baby's taking it the worst got him with just nappy on and fan on him, he's been so miserable

Aw it's not easy on the babies. My boy is restless in his bed, must be the heat too. He is loving being outdoors and playing with water!! He was at a teddy bears picnic today with nursery, was telling me all about it when I got home lol I'm not gonna complain about the heat it's great to see it!! I've just come inside. Hubby was out sorting stuff in his van so I sat outside watching the soaps on my phone. Was lovely

So warm and muggy here already
Just had a tidy up and put a wash load in. Time for a shower whilst LO watches telly then going to the blue shop to get some ice creams. Supposed to be 26 degrees today
My dad has just called, my step mums mum passed away this morning.... She had been poorly for months now and it was expected but it's still sad. Maybe there will be a funeral and wedding all in one week

Just checked emails and had one from the principal late last night. He is basically trying to cover his rear end, said he's punishing the lad as he admitted to doing it, yet today is the last day of term, only thing is he can do is put him in isolation for the day. Hardly a punishment, or even excluding him for a day, extra day on holiday! Told him after my exam I shall go further with this as I feel they've not dealt with it correctly.

Was a tad muggy and windy earlier on this morning, the sun is now blazing through and is lovely so going to chill in the garden for a bit, happy days as passed the exam, needed 80% and got 84%. Phew!!!!!!

Had a lovely sit out in the garden earlier, would have been nicer if the screaming toddlers next door were slightly quieter though, but hey they are having fun in the sun! Took hubby his lunch down, came home, popped to town to get some salad bits for dinner tonight, now I think I may sit out again waiting for the kids to come back home. Cannot believe that my middle child will be going into her last year at school September.

My salad wasn't that great. But filled a hole.

Joseph has slept quite a bit today. We went to see hubby at work to meet his colleagues, and then I called at the nursery in the same building to ask about costs. It looks like a good nursery, but for two days a week, which I think is probably the minimum we can do, it's going to be nearly £100 a week. I suspect that's not going to be much different to other places. I wish there was more free provision for pre-school children, the cost is ridiculous. I had lunch in town, and Joseph didn't wake until we got home. He's had an active afternoon, and is showing more coordination in his hands.

Sorry to hear Emma.
It was my mums birthday today so went to see her. She loved her pressies. I had put a chicken curry in slow cooker this morning for tea but we ended up going out for lunch with mum and dad. Hubby had the curry, I'll have it for my lunch in work tomorrow. LO has 2 parties on Saturday so had to go buy presents. Got home and there has been yet another problem with hubby's van!! We have had nothing but bother with it since the wedding. I'm sick of it.
EC that's quite expensive. Guess it depends on the area your in. My LO goes to nursery and its £30.50 a day. He goes 2/3 days a week whilst I work then hubby has him on weekends.

It's a city centre nursery so that might put the price up. It's really convenient though, it's in the building that my husband works in so he can take Joseph in with him and bring him home. Even pop in at lunchtime if he wants to, although that might confuse Joseph a bit.

Calmer day today, found the hose so put the pool up today, had a lounge in it with the children, first time 4onth olds been in water besides a bath and he loved it, kicking like crazy, couldn't get dd out the pool lol, think she needed the cool water after nursery and running around in the park. Thankful last day of nursery tomorrow. Looking forward to it and dreading it at the same time, going to love all the extra time together but dd needs to constantly be doing something, no idea how I'll keep up with her, I'll be a zombie by the time the holidays are over

LO is in a cricket final at the city cricket ground today.... He's really excited. They played locally a couple of weeks ago and made it through so hopefully they win today xx really proud of him as he's not very sporty but loves cricket!

First day of the holidays, I stayed in bed until about 720 so a bit of a lay in.
Body pump this morning, then home for housey duties, got a lady coming round to see my son at 2pm, and then hopefully if there is space, spin fit tonight. Hubby will come to that with me, I like to get four classes a week in and cannot do my usual Saturday morning pump class as working.
Thanks ladies, it was still only just a pass though as the pass rate was so high at 80%. The questions are statements with a true or false answer but for probably 90% of them you could argue the toss with them so quite tricky. He marked it there and then and looked up and gave me a thumbs up, I was so relieved. If I had not, I would have to pay for the course myself. Now I can relax for four years before redoing it again!

Glad its a bit cooler today.
I had a nightmare of an evening yesterday... Got a call from my mom to say that my aunts cat hasn't been seen since Monday and she's not at home at the minute. Not a long time but he literally goes out to do his business and runs back in again. He is petrified of everything. so I went round to look for him no signs of him anywhere. Walked the local streets and thank god nothing on the roads. Asked all the local neighbours and no-one had seen him. I had to go home, cook and eat dinner as we had a friend coming over. Made missing cat posters and drop in cards. When our friend left I packed a bag to go and stay there for the night. Walked in the door and he ran upstairs. I was so emotional I just started crying, a whole mix of emotions yesterday!!

Ahhhhh, we have a cat like that, she will sit on th garden a lot in the summer but other than that never goes out the garden, she even does her toilet in our garden. Then one night she was out and never came back until the following evening. Then she done it again, and both times she came running along th front of the house so I think she was in someone's house and thy let her out.
