Joseph has slept most of the day today, he's obviously exhausted. Potentially I suppose if he's making a big development his body needs sleep to process it. I'm hoping this doesn't mean he'll be awake all night. We're wondering about using a hungry milk for his bedtime feed to see if he will go through a bit longer, and maybe settle better after his feed in the early hours. I don't want to give formula in the early hours as that's the feed we'll want to lose first. I left Joseph for the first time today, hubby had him while I went to an afternoon tea for someone's hen do. It was lovely, although it did feel like something was missing.

Sarah D, going back to last week's thread, pimms with ginger beer in is lush, with lemonade as well, not just ginger beer.

All blinds are down ready for the warm day to keep the house cool. Big tidy up at in laws starts this week ready for the marquee going up on Saturday

Really warm here too already!! I've actually got a dress on for work!! Shock.....

I have got nude tights on though to block the blindness of Lilly white legs ha ha ha

Need to have a major clean through this week at home!! Could do with a good de clutter.... There is wedding stuff everywhere so could do with a good box to make it more manageable!!

Busy at work this week too.... I'll be dreaming numbers the amount of excel work I've got going on. I'm in my element lol

Spent the weekend away with OH in pe bury and weather was horrid, glad to come home to sunshine last night.
2 out of 3 Kids break up weds so going to get then helping me de-weed the garden as its a forest atm.lol.

Housey duties done, just waiting on the laundry to finish, it's a white wash so takes a long time, then that can go on the line and another load in. Cleaned the garden, washed down the patio, hoovered and think I have lost half a stone in sweat alone!!!!

Only because I had to get up before 6am as the girls had to leave the house by 6 for school trips. Thought I may as well get on with things before it got too warm.

Woo hoo I've now got my 5 stars and I'm a power user lol

Hoovered, cleaned bathroom, mopped floors, had shower and now time to get LO ready and go and do the food shop

We also painted 2 wardrobes then added new knobs to match our bed. Saved us a fortune on new furniture

Thanks all I'm soooo happy with my dress, a couple of little alterations needed but that's it. Thank god.
Have an appointment Friday to give notice. Then I can relax for a bit until BM dresses need picking. Phew

Hi ladies, just popped out to grab some lunch and drop a parcel off at the post office... it's scorching out there!! Office is a nightmare as when it's cold out it's freezing and when it's hot it's an absolute sauna... boss has said I can work from home whenever I want to this week if it gets too hot, might take him up on that!

Busy week for me this week so would help having some extra time at home to sort out bits and bobs.

Danielle, it's the mcq for the newborn life support, I've passed the practical but needed 80% on the test, it's so hard and everyone said the same.

So much for a chilled day! I decided to tidy and clean up garden and it was bloomin hard work in the heat!! I'm burnt silly. Think we may BBQ this evening but I'll be sitting in the shade!!

Hubby is out today with his new waterfed set up for the van. He's like a kid at Xmas out on their new bike lol

Evening all- it's sorchio outside! Went to shop and bought some ice lollies- also got a BBQ for t- why can't it be Friday!

LO and I have been out in the garden all day. He's been in his paddling pool whilst I've been sweeping and tidying the patio

Just came in from our BBQ was lovely...it's still 22 degrees out. Hubby didn't bring home wine but did bring strawberry and lime ciders mmmmm so yummy

I've been sitting here with the windows open and fan on and it's still not enough, a lot hotter than yesterday. If it stays like this over the weekend I'm going to have to find something nice to do with the children. Maybe a trip to the zoo. I'll be so glad when the nursery year is over

Ate really late last night as was too hot, drank some wine in the garden and slept rough as because of it. Off to work this morning on an early so will catch some sunshine when I get back home. Hopefully I should hear from the school today, I think they are worrying a little.
