It turns out my friends are going to cook, they just sent me a list of all the dishes they are going to make as one of them is off work today. Hopefully that means it'll be slightly healthier than a takeaway. I'm a total curry monster and waiters will often ask If I realize I've picked a hot one

Has anyone tried Mrs Sh@h curry mixes? You can buy them online from the website, they are lovely. You get a tub of all the mixed herbs and spices that you need and just have to add your meat, onions and tinned tomatoes to them (plus anything else you like), and they are delicious! Good for you too. When I did SW they were "free" on the plan xx

Thanks ladies, I'm sure he will be fine as it's just a health check but if he passes this he then moves onto the fitness test and then he is in!

I've never tried them Flossie but I'll have to give them a look, the hottest curry I can eat is a tikka though haha!

They are really lovely and to be honest they are quite cheap. I used to buy in bulk to keep the cupboard stocked up, not bought them for ages though, might have to get them again! The spices taste quite authentic for a "quick" curry xx

I hope so gf! Trying to experiment a bit more with recipes - slow cookers get good use! Sounds nice Flossie :) I should do cottage pie sometimes as its easy enough I just never do possibly because we always have a Sunday dinner at mums on a Sunday and it's similar?

OH is doing my head in today. He moans and snaps on the phone and says its me. I told him he doesn't know when he's doing it.

Tells me to stop shouting at LO...when he doesn't listen to what he's told after 3 times of saying I then I raise my voice so then be listens. It's different when he's shouting at LO though.

Always me that's in the wrong yet it's him that's doing all the moaning

That's what I told him.

Like last night he wanted some fags and asked if we had any garlic bread to go with tea. I said no. He asked if he could have some. So I went to the shop, came home made tea, did LO tea, cleaned up, asked if he would help LO tidy up- 20 mins later he still sat there so ended up doing that as well.

I'm sure he thinks I sit on my ar*e all day!!
