I had a bit of Bridezilla moment last night with one of my bridesmaids and had a million wedding things running through my head, just couldn't switch off last night. Feeling a bit sensitive to things at the moment and a bit over emotional. Feel like I need a good break!

flossie- I panic in my horsebox if I get to 1/4 of a tank! I once had a very old lorry that ran out of fuel 250m from a fuel station despite the fact that the needle was reading 1/4 of a tank.
no way on earth you can push 7.5 ton of lorry and because it dredged up all the crap from the bottom of the tank (so much crap that it was the reason the needle was reading 1/4 of a tank, it was a 30 year old lorry) and it took the mechanic 3 hours at the road side to clean all the filters and get it going again! thats with 2 horses onboard who got very very irritable!

My current lorry has long distance fuel tanks so costs a fortune to fill (nearly £400) so I only ever tend to fill it to half way and try to never let it get under 1/4 of a tank.

In my car i regularly end up in the red but the car is only 2 years old and a petrol so there shouldnt be much crap in the tank yet.

LO has come out in a rash this afternoon so been sorting him out. He wouldn't stop crying. Gave him some p1rit0n and seems fine now. Just bathed him and he's playing on his mat with his cars.

OH came home at dinner and his dad said he could have the afternoon off

    Afternoon

Slightly peeved off with the kids, had a call earlier to say my son was being kept after for a detention for being disruptive, then when the girls get home, the youngest walks into town with me only to have a hissy fit in the middle of the supermarket and go off mumbling which I hate with a passion, my other daughter is at home in a mood saying nothing is wrong. My youngest stomps of in front of me home, so when I get in I tell her off for being like she was and acting like she did in the shop, I told my other daughter to get out of her sh!tty mood she's in and then had a go at my son for having a detention as it's always him.

Told them I'd leave if they want to carry on. Then came and sat on my bed! F'cked off is an understatement

Just got home from hospital. They put me on the monitor again this morning, and that was all fine. Then they said I had to wait to see a doctor, and that it might be a while. At lunchtime the midwife came back and said that the doctor had reviewed my notes and as there had been no further bleeding I was able to go. I had lunch as it was being served then anyway, and then was waiting around a while for someone to remove my canula. Then my friend came to get me, and had a couple of places to go before dropping me home. I'm going to stay home tomorrow to be sure all is ok, as I think probably I've overdone something somewhere, maybe lifted too much. It has actually been a useful exercise, as I was found a bed on a postnatal ward, which meant I got to experience the kind of place I might be after giving birth. I also discovered that I have very unreliable phone signal there. I have wifi so I can use iMessage for anyone with an iPhone, or FBook message people, but ringing and texting are problematic. I need to make sure I have another contact number for people. I also discovered that my blood group is A positive.

Glad to hear everything is ok EC.

My boss let me go home at 4 as a thank you for helping him out big time this afternoon. So I did my Charlotte Crosby dvd and now having a hot bubble bath before cracking on with dinner.

I've had the exciting news this afternoon that my wedding dress has arrived I dreamt last night that my dress had arrived so that's quite spooky!

    Morning all.

Michelle, one time I did do that. When we lived at the old house and one of my older son's kept leaving washing up in his room, it got to the stage where we had no washing up. They all asked what was for dinner and I said nothing, I am not cooking. Suddenly they all started doing something. I would love to go away for a week on my own and see what happens. Take outs each night no doubt

Morning all, had an ok night's sleep (by my standards anyway).

Having problems with the water draining from the kitchen sink this morning so there's obviously a blockage somewhere (which would be our responsibility I presume), but we also looked under the sink and you can see water has been leaking from around the rim as it's all yucky and rusty, also have some tea towels underneath it which are damp. Have text our landlady to see if she is happy for the plumber to come out again - after her comments to the plumber last time, I doubt she will be very pleased!!! Water and plumbing problems seem to the bane of our lives!

Flossie, may just be some blockage in the u bend, you can unscrew it but make sure you have a bucket ready to catch everything. Or before that, boil the kettle and pour that down it, or use some kind of drain cleaner.

Done my exercise, well as in exercise I mean walking and jogging on the spot whilst watching television.

Now sitting down to a lemsip.

It may be leaking due to the blockage. If there is a build up, it will most likely cause it, but if it's caused damaged it will need replacing, and that's handy, he might have a spare bit of pipe he can replace it with

It looks like it has been leaking a little for a while judging by how yucky it looks, looks like it has been building up over time. It's strange though how the drainage was completely fine last night and between then and this morning the water was hardly draining at all. Nothing was poured down there last night that shouldn't have been either. I wanted to put some bleach down the plug hole before I left for work but it hadn't even drained by then. We will get some proper unblocking stuff tonight and see if that helps for the time being whilst we wait for the landlady to respond.

    Morning ladies

    How is everyone?

Flossie I had a similar situ this morning went in the kitchen at 5.50 after my shower and the floor was soaked, I woke up oh to see if he knew what was causing it, but wasn't any of our pipes, turns out it was me showering that caused the water and it was the drain outside that was blocked so oh was outside in the pitch dark trying to sort it, the power washer did the job thankfully and we have no more water leaking! What a start to the day xx

Flossie, check your outside drain as well. One time we had the same issue with the bathroom in our old house, we tried everything, even the plumber was confused, until he got outside on a ladder, and there was a plant growing in the outlet drain, once removed it worked fine.

What a palaver Sarah! Hate it when things go wrong around the house. Especially with renting because I always feel really guilty contacting the landlord saying there is a problem!

I shall check the outside drain as well when I get home. We did actually have a problem with the outside drain when we first moved in but we managed to unblock it ourselves. We noticed when the washing machine was on and got loads of foamy bubbles all over the patio lol.

I'm the same as you Flossie. We need our boile to have the annual check, it's over two years since the last one, but I feel bad about contacting them even though it is their duty to do it.

Been out into town, it's colder out than I thought. Very misleading. Got some icecream to soothe my throat.
