Haha fair enough lindsey :p I've done it every day bar one when I was in a hotel which was like day 7 level two so I went for an hours swim instead and then did level 2 for another day to make sure I'd done 10 days in total - level 3 might just kill me off tonight lol

I've seen two of the big wedding winners who kept us up to date and were active on the forum. One of them I think was a regular before she won, the other was new. Both have had their weddings now, and aren't really on here anymore. I remember getting annoyed with one power user prize when someone won it who had won another one a couple of months before, but I can see that it would be really difficult to prevent that from happening, unless the person is willing to say that it should be redrawn. A lot of what came up wasn't any use to me, although there was a car prize that I would have liked.

I thought you could only win once EC? The first question they asked me after the when is your weddig etc etc was 'have you won a prize with ukbride before'

Can't wait for hometime today. I'm so tired, it's not a good sign that it's only Monday. I think the cold that has been bubbling under for a while is finally going to break out, as I'm feeling really flushed. Hopefully a decent night's sleep might help, but then I wake up every few hours needing a drink or the loo or both. I read about this thing called 478 to help you sleep, which means you inhale through your nose for 4 seconds, hold for 7 and exhale through the mouth for 8. It's supposed to send you to sleep in under a minute, but it just made me get out of breath after one repetition. Normally being a flautist I'm good at that kind of thing, but the pregnancy does affect my breathing. I'll try it again after the birth. I did find though that concentrating on my breathing helped me to fall asleep sooner, so hopefully if I do wake up in the night I won't be awake for too long.

The life insurance can be difficult, they do ask some probing questions. Mine wasn't too bad, I had to declare a history of depression but I've been well without treatment for quite a few years now.

I don't know Becci. Maybe they've changed if since that happened, as a few people queried it given how many thousands of people are on the site who won't ever win. Or it may be that they ask about the win a wedding but not about the monthly power user prizes. I don't recall ever being asked though.

Hi all.....
Wow Sarah you have had a busy afternoon.
Emily, I feel for you but try not to worry yourself. When I had my mortgage with my ex they had to go through all my med records and only 1 out if all the insurance people would cover me due to my brain haemorrhage when I was 13.....
They insured me at £17.50 a month in the end but we got there eventually. It was L&G.
Ironing has been picked up.... Waiting for the shopping, gonna gave a quick tidy through tonight but I'll do s big clean tomorrow. CBA tonight! I'll do my DVD once LO in bed. First level 2 tonight.... Eeeeek! I'm scared lol

Emmilou our life insurance is L and G too. Our mortgage was with a building society who name L and G as partners, so we had to use them. It's funny, my husband actually works for them assessing endowment policy mis-selling complaints.

Morning all,
Rubbish sleep again, so so tired. I feel I can sleep when it is time to get up for the kids, on annual leave, but no lay ins. Woken today with a headache and feeling hungover, which I am not as never drank.
Also when hubby out the slow cooker pot back last night, he knocked the switch for the boiler and turned it off. House is blooming freezing,

Weather is dry and cold here.
We don't have it on in the night either, but it should come on at 6am so when everyone gets up any chill has gone, typically the really cold night the switch got knocked. In the old house we used to have it come on for at least and hour in the night as the house was a big old detached single glazed Victorian house, it was freezing, so by having it come on for a bit took the chill off. Many times I would wake up from being so cold.

Kids all gone to school now. I am feeling slightly nauseous being that tired, ache a bit as well. Need to get moving though and take my mind off it all and try for an afternoon nap. Need to get to the shop at some point, that can wait though, maybe this afternoon.
Wish I had the F!tb!t now that records my sleep. Would be interesting and don't even think hubby realises the little I do get
Last night we decided to have the hot choccie from the gift from step daughter using the cups she got for us. Poured water into mine and it cracked, hubby's was fine though, I left it out on the side ready for the bin, he went and made me a cuppa in it this morning. As I poured it into another cup he asked what I was doing so told him, as the cup was sat in a puddle of tea as it had leaked out the crack. I know I am tired but feel nothing is going right, don't think hubby was overly happy with his gifts or the effort I went to for his birthday, then that happening last night, I'm waiting for something to Happen today now. Then it's all three done.

Morning ladies, cold one this morning! OH defrosted my car for me when he left for work at about 7.30, when I went out to my car to leave at 7.45 it had frozen back up again so I had to de-ice it again! Brrrrrrr.
We don't have our heating on overnight but we've got the heater in the bedroom set to come on for a bit late in the evening before we head to bed and then it comes on again early in the morning before we get up.

Brrrr Flossie, I done that one night I had to pick hubby up from his Christmas do. I sprayed the car, (after having to de ice the lock to get in), by the time I got back in it, the de-icer had frozen on the windscreen. I love my heated windscreen. Just get in, turn engine on, press button and bam! Need to scrape the side windows if it is bad though

OH has a heated windscreen but he also gets ice on the inside of the windscreen as well as the outside! I used to have to defrost the locks when I had my KA, was a right pain in the bottom. One night I had finished work late and physically could not turn the lock to get in, and didn't have any lock de-icer at that point, so I had to leave my car there overnight and get my mum to come and pick me up lol.

I thought great what do I do when I went to unlock my car that night, it was about 1030/11pm, I stood for a bit and thought who can I knock the door of. Then my brain got into gear and I got a small amount of warm water and squirted it at the lock to unlock. Then hubby gave me this little bottle of lock de-icer, I said that is handy but thing is, I'd likely keep it in the glove box, and of course, I would not be able to get in! Now I have remote so hopefully won't happen again

My hands are sooo cold! Got the heating turned right up in the office but the building is so pants. Freezing in the winter, boiling in the summer - no happy medium! I'm sat right next to the window too which lets in a bit of a draft. I would close the blinds but I like to have the natural light coming through.
