Morning all....

Monday again, blurgh..... Got a busy week ahead at work. The RSMs are in full swing so got reprofiling coming out our ears. Not to mention our day to day job too!!

Ah well, it makes the week go fast I guess.

OH gone back down south this morning, I need to do a big big clean tonight, the landlord is coming to service the boiler on Wednesday so need it spotless so he don't think I'm a tramp lol

Ironing lady is collecting at 6pm, shopping delivery between 6.30 & 7.30..... Blimey, it is gonna be a busy day!

OH and I went to bed at 7.30 last night and to be fair, I didn't see past 8.30 so slept really well

Em sounds like a very busy one for you. Jealous of your sleep. Specifically went to bed earlier as I felt like crap all last week but didn't actually get to sleep for a while.

Went to make another cuppa, daughter asked for her pack up, I forgot to make it so made that, then cleared all the sides. Since xmas the alcohol has lived on the kitchen side pushed up out of the way, I thought it would go once hubby's birthday was over but there is more. I have managed to fit it onto the shelf we use for alcohol and put all the beers he has in the fridge. Bang goes the no drinking through the week then as because it is there he will have to drink it instead of leaving it.

Then put the chicken in the slow cooker, covered it in paprika as well so hopefully it will be a nice crisp tasty skin. Done the washing up and made my cuppa.

Saturday my daughter came home from her friends complaining of ear ache, I wondered if she had an ear infection but did not seem to be running a temperature or high pulse, yesterday she said her ears felt a little better but she still felt unwell. Saturday night I thought I was coming down with a cold, had a time of sneezing and my nose felt funny, it went, was ok yesterday apart from tired, then last night the nose felt strange again, as if a big cold was coming. Still feels a little like it today so if it is a cold, I hope it hurries up and does something rather than lingering around.

Not a good day for me, in the 'Monday blues' mood. Don't Want to do anything but hibernate. OH annoyed me last night so went to sleep not talking then he rudely woke me so I could push his van in the rain to bump it as flat battery. Not impressed. I just feel really drained atm with him, don't know what wrong with me. Going to walk pup in rain come home and have a cry in hot bath,might feel better then xx

Oh no PP, hope you feel chirpier soon. Maybe a good cry will make you feel better.

It's not raining here but has been and very dull and damp.

I've been trying to find a toilt seat, the girls one has broke and need to replace it but it is not a normal shape, it's straight at the back and along the sides and rounded at the front. It's only the lid that is broke so they can still use it.

Just got back from doing the food shop. Saw OH grandma in there. She was asking how the weight loss was going. She then went on to say when I saw you at Christmas I couldn't believe how much weight you'd put on.

I've had a child sent home from school. She's complaining about her ears still so got an appointment with the gp to see if she has an ear infection.

Mrs mw, that's not nice. I'd never say that to anyone unless it was for a good reason, for instance my moh lost a lot of weight when having relationship issues, she then put weight on and looked good. You don't just come out and say that to anyone

Oh dear Mrs MW. It's never appropriate to make a comment about someone's weight unless you are really close and concerned for their health. I know my mum used to badger me about it when I was overweight, but that's a mum's job. Then when I was losing weight for the wedding and lost quite a lot my MOH kept warning me not to lose too much, and I knew she was watching me and making sure I didn't just stop eating. Our relationship is close enough that she could do that though. When I start attempting to lose the baby weight I fully anticipate that she will do exactly the same thing again.

Hugs Pinky Pie. Sometimes you just have to let those moods happen. Maybe if the weather improves you could try getting out for a walk (walking in the rain probably won't help). Otherwise sometimes only chocolate will do.

Thanks, been to the go and her ears are ok, but one appears to be 'sucked in'. She said it is probs due to the tube from the ear to the nose which is blocked, very slightly pink but no sign of an infection. She's currently sat steaming with Vicks in the hope it helps to shift it

Afternoon ladies, I feel like I've been in a daze all day! Work has been so busy and it doesn't help that me and OH went for an hour nap at 6.30 last night and didn't wake up until 12.30! We were both wide awake so ended up going downstairs and watching TV until 4.30 then I was up at 7! Had a lot of sleep but because I had a big gap in the middle I am so tired today!

Mrs M that is a horrible thing for her to say! Old people do just say things sometimes not thinking it might not be the right thing to say but you just don't say that to anybody!

GF glad its not a full blown infection. hope the Vicks helps.

Me and OH have had a good morning, Drs at 8:30. Didn't go too well actually but wasn't expecting it to really. then went to gte OH some new tyres for his car. They were needed as tread was getting low but still £150 :( ouch. then a trip to the green supermarket and managed to spend a fortune. Bought our dinner plates etc though so that was a big chunk out of it. got home had food and then paid deposit for videographer and started to look at flowers. Spent a while catching up on here! Might go and prep dinner ready for later. Have an appt with the mortgage at 4 then cub s later so wont have much time.

OH on a change management workshop today in London, so planning to get home and stick Day 3 of the shred on - have been doing it on and off, but not doing it everyday, so trying to make sure I do it everyday so I can move up a level. Then will do 5% less fat spag bol tonight - I make my own sauce. So hungry, but we won't eat until gone 7pm.
