Had community today, got things sorted and now just got some finishing off to do paperwork wise.

Work is soooo manic at the moment- just not enough hours in the day! :(

My LO has his school photos tomorrow too.... hope it's a good one this year as they have started getting modern with photos and they look awful! I like the traditional ones.....

I've sacked of going for a run tonight and now it's too dark. Feel bad for not going but these dark nights are just draining!

Last year LO got upset and the photos weren't very good as you could tell he'd been crying so hopefully this time they will be better. Going to tell them in the morning that if he does get upset when they're trying to take his picture then ring me and I can go and stand with him whilst he has it done

Done all my ironing tonight. Felt bleurgh all day. AF has shown her face again! was hoping to catch this time but there's always next month

We go to Amsterdam next Saturday too had anyone been and can recommend places to see?

Ooh have a lovely time in Amsterdam, I love it there, have been many times. I love the ***R1jk5mu53um, would recommend that. Also enjoyed ***Our 10rd In Th3 @tt1c, which is an old style canal house with a hidden church inside. And if you've ever read Anne Frank or know the story then the ***@nn3 Fr@nk mu53um is a must.

It's a lovely and really quirky city so you'll have a great time just wondering around. The trams are great, cheap and efficient. It's a really walkable city though. The churches are lovely if visiting cathedrals is your thing :)

Never been to Amsterdam, but if I were going I would definitely want to visit ***@nn3 Fr@nk'5 h0u53. I am not sure if you would need to book as I do recall my parents saying when they went to visit the queues to get in were horrendously long.

If you visit the @nn3 fr@nk h0u53 i would recommend booking in advance. You beat the queues and you also get a small group talk about the family before you walk around. So worth it, when we went it was proper chucking it down with rain, that really heavy rain that is worse when it's really windy. The queue was over 100 metres long and we basically went straight to the front of the queue and walked straight in through a side entrance for pre booked tickets and didn't have to wait at all. Proper fast track.

I love the canal boat tour.

Joseph decided to wake twice last night, at 12:40 and 5:00. Tried the dummy first time but it didn't work so did the quick solution of the breast. Still had to hold the dummy in his mouth to get him back to sleep, I think I fell asleep myself sitting by the cot. He did at least sleep more quickly after his second feed.

EC you must be exhausted.

MMW definitely prebook if you can. It'll save you a good hour and a half I would say.

I've been checking out new phones. Can upgrade mine at the end of November.

I'm not in the mood for work today. I've been working on a tender for the last few days which is due in next Weds and the local team have just pulled it as they don't have enough time to price it up... means I've been doing loads of work for nothing. Can't be bothered to anything now.

Been trying to think of things to do for my birthday. Thinking it might be nice to go see a show... the possibles I've found are B1lly 3ll10t in Bristol, B@ll3tb0yz in Bath or L10n K1ng in London, although that one is ridiculously expensive - the cheapest tickets still available are like £70 each! BB has almost sold out plus it's on on the Sunday and I would rather go on my actual birthday... so looks like it may be B1lly 3lli0t.

Afternoon all. I was working night shift last night but up already. Can't sleep despite feeling exhausted. Good job I'm off tonight.

Jen how exciting! The "big scan" is amazing. You see the blood pumping through body etc. I'm sure you will be on a spending spree when you find out what colour lol have you much bought so far?

Flossie I'd pick l10n k1ng too but that is expensive! I've always wanted to go to a west end show would be my ideal night lol

There's plenty of great places to eat in London too that doesn't have to cost a fortune. Hubby and I always take our own bottles of water from home and snacks to the theatre so we don't spend anything when we get there. We don't buy programmes or anything.

That's a shame Floss, I do love the theatre. Made me want to book a pre Christmas show now. Magic sounds fun. Also love comedy shows.

We were there for ages, he was lying face down so they could only get half the measurements they needed. Was sent off for chocolate, a drink and to run up and down the stairs then to go back. Such a pickle already!

I've hardly bought anything. I think that will change shortly though ;)

Hubby was off today as van in garage so we collected LO from nursery this afternoon, took him to soft play then went for dinner then went to see BIL, his wife and kids. I'm exhausted now can't wait for bed

Presentation went really well so I'm chuffed about that. Flossie I keep trying to convince my partner to but tickets for Matt3w b0urn3s r3d sh03s no luck so far. We went down to London to see phant0m of the 0p3ra for my birthday so we made a weekend out of it as it can be expensive. Would love to go and see w1ck3d as well.

Had a friend frantically texting me last night worrying about her wedding plans and changing them she was doing what I did when I first started and was trying to people please everyone but now I have put her on the right track.

Evening ladies.....

Been a really emotional day today! At work we are planning a 50 year book to celebrate our 50th year of trading.

Had a 2 1/2 HR meeting with the chairman going through the history of the company and woah, I got really emotional having been there 11.5 years!

I'll be sad to leave in 2 weeks but I need to do this.... bigger and much better things ahead.

My line manager did my reference for me today and emailed it to my new employer. She BCC'd me in and wow...... I cried lol. It was such a lovely, praising reference but it highlighted how good a member of staff I am. That sounds big headed but i tell you what, they are gonna struggle to fill what I actually do! My line manager is gutted I'm going but there isn't anything she can do....

Been for a run tonight too round the res.... felt good to blow the cobwebs away and clear my head! My time is improving too which is nice to see..... I'm still only doing 2.2km but I'm good with that! Dark nights are awful and I was on edge due to lots of dog walkers and dogs not on leads. LO was with me so I was concentrating on him but still a bit scary!
