I have always wanted a plain traditional wedding band with no detail on it but I think for it to sit nicely with me engagement ring it needs to have a very slight dent in it so no idea how this will work. Also want it to be fairly thick so that it stands out more as the main ring.

Are they supposed to match? Ours don't not match but it certainly wasn't intentional. Think OH's is 9ct white gold and mine is 18ct white gold. Mine is a twisted one and there is a row of diamonds on each side of the twist, and OH's kind of has a ribbed effect. He wanted something a little more than plain but didn't want anything too detailed either.

I don't think it matters. It would be silly to have matching because they have to as you have to wear it forever so want something lovely that you want on your finger. Not something that you have had to have to match

I've not eaten today, had a few cuppas, I really felt like I'd lost weight, got on the scales, nope! So limiting myself. I put my arms around hubby from behind the other night, realised quite how much he's put on. He also got a shirt Saturday to wear out, it's too tight, he said he needs to diet, yet won't do anything about it, and no doubt will get some beer or wine in tonight

Afternoon everyone. OMG so tired today not even half way through my shift, Roll on week Wednesday, but saying that it has gone quickly so far. Have lost nearly 3lb since been back at work which is good. Got final invoice for the blessing this morning e mailed it to J told him to sit down when he gets it haha, actually its not as bad as I thought it was going to be, J kept adding extras on to it especially when we decided to have it outdoors extra costs for outside decoration and lightening and such. Just waiting for J to get home from his meeting and most probably gone out for lunch and will see what he says.
