Quiet on here today. I am busy in work getting my to-do list down. Feels good to check things off!
Head really fuzzy. Almost a hangover feeling but I didn't have anything to drink last night. Will grab my lunch in a min and hopefully that will perk me up. Have rice :)

Its a colleagues birthday tomorrow and all meant to be going for a drink. If I'm still full of cold and fuzzy think I will have to give it a miss. Will be a shame though. Really like her x

Afternoon all

Had to go to the vicars at 8.45 this morning for her to sign my passport form then Had a nightmare with passports this morning. Wanted to do check and send and needed OH birth certificate as we can't find his old one that has expired so had to go to in laws to fetch it. Glad that's done with for 10 years now

Had nails done then picked LO up from nursery

Absolutely shattered. LO is feeding constantly. We've talked to the midwives and they said it's a growth spurt, and the need to feed constantly is designed to increase my supply. Last night I managed to sleep 3:30-4:30 and then on and off from about 5:00 to about 9:00. From 9:00 I have been stuck attached to LO, he won't go to anyone else. They said it generally lasts about 24 hours, I'm just hoping it doesn't go all the way through the night as I'm sick of sitting up for hours on my own.

30th August 2014 was the best birthday ever.

Evening ladies. I'm doing a happy dance around the house after winning my wedding shoes on the well known auction site. They are around £140 to buy from the shop I got them brand new in the box for £56. Cant wait for them to arrive now. Another thing to tick off the list xx

Had a lovely day off yesterday. Had my final dress appointment and got to bring it home

Then had a day doing wedding bits and bobs and getting myself organised. The next 4 weeks are just going to fly by I know it!!

2 of my bms have got their second fitting tonight so that's almost another thing ticked off the list.

So glad it's Friday - dying for a lie in tomorrow!

The shop have had mine for about a year as they store it if you need them too, but I have heard bad things about the alterations woman and I am using someone else who's got great recommendations so I'll bring it home now and not need to go back to the shop xx

Morning all.

Thank the Lord that my nights are over. Got home, stripped the bed as the new one was coming today, hubby started taking it apart, just as he finished it turned up earlier than they said, just finished putting it together, need to get some new bedding for it though and a mattress protector before making it up.

Just having a bacon sarnie cooked for me, then I might grab an hours kip before heading out again as got a study afternoon at work.

Just renewed my car insurance for another year, getting very old so it's down to £250 now! Also forgot I had switched last year to paying the tax monthly so haven't got to pay out a lump for that this month either yay.

It is all coming together now and it's all very exciting - 4 weeks tomorrow! I know it's just going to fly by as well.

Emily when I paid my tax monthly it was only about £6 more for the whole year, so I thought it was worth it!

Don't think I'm getting a kip in. Just noticed the time. Need to get showered and go to the shops before the study session at work. A kip will have to wait until this evening, then hubby is djing at the club. I need to go down for a bit as a couple of mws want to check out the venue as a possible 50th birthday party for them. Doubt they will stay long though so I can head home early and get into the new bed. Lovely jubbly. Then got body pump in the morning. I've missed it this week, not done it since Sunday.

When it's quiet at work on nights, we can sometimes get a good break, sometimes three hours which really helps with the lack of sleep in th day time. If we don't get a break on one or two nights, we don't claim our hour back as we make it up in another nights break. If that makes sense.,say I do three nights, two of which are too busy and no break, then on the third we get three hours break, it evens it out. Anyhoo, someone complained that something was not done on time and starting crying to management, now we are not allowed breaks like we used to, we have to either sit in the sitting room for an hour or two half hour breaks. Nothing like trying to kill us all off. Many people are not happy about it as they all know who it was. And that person loves a good three hour break as well, even though she was on a break at the time the incident occurred.

That's a pain GF. When I was in the induction ward most nights were busy, as there were quite a lot of ladies in all needing obs, monitoring and examining at different times. The Sunday night though there were only four of us, and we all went to sleep, so the one midwife on duty had a lovely peaceful shift. When I went to delivery suite I had one midwife allocated to me, and only to me, so she was with me 7pm to 7am. Another midwife covered for a 15 minute break and kept an eye on both me and her own patient. My midwife then stayed with me until I went down to theatre, which was at change over time. The midwives on postnatal seemed to have busy nights, but there were HCAs helping with obs and feeding support.

30th August 2014 was the best birthday ever.

Really upset….
Just spoke to OH and the solicitors haven’t heard anything yet. No idea when it will be. I was out at lunch at the time and I did just have a little cry.
I feel like I am pinning my hopes on a dead end.

It really will. OH broke up today from work for 2 weeks so his job is to start packing. I will happily live with just the basics for the next few weeks until we are in there. Just want everything ready to move now.

EC sounds tough. Hope things settle down a little bit for you soon. Sleepless nights is one thing I am not looking forward to if we have a baby as I need my sleep and get really grumpy without it!!
