I think you can do it at anytime as long as you get a letter from the registrar confirming your new name. Obviously you'll have to have it back in time for honeymoon so you'll need time for it to be changed x

I'm not even changing mine, it doesn't expire until 2019 so I don't see the point in paying for a new one when I'm still going to have 3 years left on it. Just going to travel in my maiden name which doesn't really bother me! xx

Mine doesn't expire until 2024 lol! I am not changing it before the honeymoon but I think I will change it at some point before it expires, don't want to be travelling in my maiden name for another 9 years lol x

Mine expires next year but I was panicking about getting it renewed with new name before honeymoon so honeymoon is booked in maiden name which was a bit sad. But I travel for work and if i renewed with new name now it wouldn't be valid until the wedding day and I will need to go to Europe a couple of times between now and the wedding!

I'm peeved about OH's step dad now. Apparently he wants to be informed with arrangements for the stag, which is fair enough, but there is nothing to even inform him of yet as the stag hasn't been arranged. He will be informed when there is something to inform him about! This is the second time it's come up that he feels left out, but both times it's come via MIL so I don't know if he really does feel left out or if it's more her trying to look out for him if you know what I mean as he is quite a shy and quiet person. Really don't understand why it's an issue at the moment though! Especially a big enough issue for MIL to phone OH about it whilst she knows he is at work as well?!

Got some good news at lunch time! Got a phone call from the manager of the recruitment agency I registered with on Wednesday to see if I am interested in a vacancy they have available for a trainee recruitment consultant. She said she knows I haven't got experience with it but her colleague who interviewed me the other day recommended me! So I am going in tomorrow at 4.45 for a chat/ interview!

Thanks! Yeah she asked if I had ever considered it and I had as I have seen a few vacancies and was interested but never applied because I didn't have any experience! It's lovely that I was recommend though, given me a bit more confidence before going in and I have already met her too! Yeah there should be a lot more room for growth than there is here and hopefully a better salary! x
