How old is he Danielle? We just started it really informally, took the nappy off when we were in the house, gradually building it up. Jack has been fully potty trained from about Oct. I found it pretty easy to be honest, so hopefully you will too :) xx

Yes - football! My mum and I are season ticket holders at Swindon - local team :-) mum's been a fan all her life (and my dad used to be when they were married), so she's been dragging me since she was able. I used to absolutely hate it but grew to love it. It's also lovely because it's mine and my mum's "thing".

Yeah he is fully potty trained now though has the odd accident when he has too much milk before bed. Jack was 2 years and 3/4 months when we started so not much difference. We were quite laid back about it, took the nappy off when we were in the house and had many wee's on the floor to begin with but it finally stuck and now he takes himself to the big boy toilet (we have a little step and seat for him). I use to keep a potty in the car for journeys out lol. Good luck :) xx

Flossie I grew up supporting Newcastle because in Northumberland you don't have much choice, especially when you have brothers. I never liked playing football but got caught up in the passion and can quite happily sit and watch a match. I've only ever been to a stadium to watch twice, and I wouldn't necessarily want to do that all the time. Even when I lived up north it wasn't an option anyway, tickets are extortionate and really difficult to get. Supporting Newcastle is not always easy though, at the moment they only seem to win when they absolutely have to.

Flossie it's horrible. OH thought that knowing we have a house would make me start to feel a bit better about everything but its actually made things worse because we can no longer look for one just have to sit and wait. I just hope it wont be too long.

LO would rather go on the 'big toilet' as he calls it now instead of the potty but he still has accidents. Every time he does something on the potty/toilet we praise him and say well done.
I got a bag of giant choc buttons when we first started and every time he did something he could have one.
My LO still wears nappies at bed time then he knows to take it off when he gets up.

Michelle I'm going to go to the shop later and get some chocolate for him when he does something. He's in bed at the minute, I put the nappy on for him to go to bed don't know if that was a good idea or not? Has anyone tried any of the SW soups or sauces from 1cel@nd? I was planning on trying the tikka masala sauce for dinner tonight but not sure now as I tried the carrot and coriander soup for lunch and it was horrible, couldn't eat it. Think I'll stick to making my own stuff!!

We didn't crack bed time for a while, just started with the day time. In fact the main reason we stopped putting pull ups on for bed time was we run out, he had no choice to go to bed without and he didn't wet so we never put one on again lol. He will do it when he's ready, the first week was def the hardest.

Not tried any of them Danielle but @sd@ do a lovely tikka massala sauce as part of their good and counted range - if you ever shop in @sd@ I would definitely recommend trying that!! Also tried the h@1ry diet3rs tikka massala sauce the other week which was quite nice as well.
Cottage pie all done, just need to pop it in the oven later on. Time for a cuppa, paint my toe nails and a couple of chapters of my book I reckon - me time!

Afternoon ladies
Busy day for me and I also had the docs earlier found out the cause of my headaches I have sinusitis so on antibiotics never felt pain like it!
Almost finished decorating my dressing room and we have had the carpet fitter out and I've picked a glittery carpet which is getting laid on Monday
What's everyone's plans for the weekend? I have a baby shower tomorrow went a bit daft buying gifts but she's one of my best friends so couldn't help myself lol xx

That's progress Danielle. I've seen a few of my friends at church going through it recently, it's quite fun watching them grab the kid and run for the loo to try to get the child on it in time. Often they don't realise they need to go until it's too late. I knew a couple from the Ukraine once who had a young daughter, and apparently they toilet train at a few months there. They watch the child really closely and get to know when they're about to go, then get them on the potty. It's surprisingly successful, but I imagine there must have been mistakes when they didn't spot it in time. Plus you could only do it if you're with the child all the time.

Just had some sad news. My old best friend's dad has passed away. I haven't seen her for a number of years - kind of drifted apart - but I have many fond memories of her dad and he was a lovely man. My OH thinks I've over reacted as have been in tears for the last half an hour. Will pop a card through their door tomorrow to let them know I am thinking of them.

I made leek and macaroni cheese sw recipe. It was so yummy
Bathed LO and he's had some tea. He's got red eyes and they're all puffy bless him. Bathed them in cool boiled water. Not sure of he's coming down with conjunctivitis. Phoned the drs and she's done him a prescription but can't pick it up until Sunday as she said he's not had it long enough to determine whether it is that or not

Morning ladies..... Had a bit of a lie in today and got up at 7.10am
Annoyed though as I set my alarm for 5.30 as I had things to get done and needed to wash my hair etc before leaving at 9.15 to fetch OHs LO but forgot to set it for Saturday's so it was only set for Mon-Fri grrrrr..... Ah well, I still had enough time for hair wash etc. Just not much else lol
Excited to bring LO to ours today and to see OHs mum and sister and all the rest of the family that he hadn't seen for over 2 years. She's going to be fuming that he's coming over ha ha ha karma!!!

Morning all.
Was an ok night shift actually, glad it's done though. Home to a mess in the lounge, nobody had picked anything up and left cups/glasses and sweet wrappers on the floor. We have friends staying today so need to tidy up. I left hubby with the task of taking stuff out the tumble dryer, all he done was turn it off so now it is all creased up. Hoovered downstairs and sorted that laundry out. Need to Hoover upstairs in the lounge and hopefully when I go to bed for a bit it will stay clean,

Hi all. Oh EC I can't imagine potty training a little baby lol Michelle how are LOs eyes today? Olly has had conjunctivitis a few times. Have a nice sleep Leanne and GF. I go back on nights 7th March. Not looking forward to them. But only for 3 weeks as I booked my last week off. Day 2 potty training here I come lol. Hope I have a bit more success today. When I came in from work, I was hungry, wanted toast, we had no bread, after I hoovered downstairs hubby said he'd go get bread and bacon, that was about an hour ago, he went and got eggs, bacon, sausage etc. For some reason when ever he makes this it takes him forever!! We've started doing self rostering, we are meant to have two weeks nights a month, so I've been putting myself in for that, however, when it comes to being in community it will be two weeks in, two weeks out, so if that's the case, the two weeks in means doing nights

2 weeks of nights in a month is a lot. We have changed ours so we now do 6 weeks days then 4 weeks nights. We used to do 6 of each which was horrible.
Woke up to a cold house today. Turns out our oil ran out!! Wasn't expecting it to so had to order some. Just waiting on it being delivered. Had to use the money I put away for something else. Grrrr

Been to have LO hair cut, he looks lovely but she will go mad at that too!!
Been to Mac Ds, naughty but nice as a treat and now finally at home with him..... He loves all they toys in my LOs bedroom which effectively is his now too!!
