We're just catching up on soaps. LO and OH just had a bath and now LO fast asleep

Hi my name is clare. new to all this wedding stuff, not getting married till next year. hope you all had a good day. Me an eventful day, 2 boys of my own plus my nephew xbox and making cakes all good fun xx

We've been doing lots of painting tonight. The hall is mostly done now, although there are a few bits that need a bit of extra. The cream seems to need more coats to hide the plaster than the green or yellow. Hubby thought he'd finished the stairwell, but I saw a few bits that still need touching up. I think I'm more of a perfectionist than him. The landing is next, then there's quite a bit to repaint in the kitchen. If we ever get a massive windfall I'm getting in professional decorators to do the whole house.

I slept better last night. Woke up once for the toilet and took me a while to doze back off. LO not happy as OH gone to work and LO not seen him. Normally he's awake before he goes. We tried to wake up before he went but no chance lol

Meeting my friend at a pub this morning with a soft play area so LO can have a play and I can give her her wedding invitation

Got my FG coming round this afternoon to try her dress on. Hopefully it will be ok

Morning all

Nice day off today, just got up as well, beaut.

Plan on doing not a lot. Was going to do a roast but forgot to take the chicken out the freezer. Duh!

Morning all, didn't sleep well. Got home from choir and started to fall asleep on the sofa so we went up to bed. OH was a little behind me as he turned off all the lights but by the time he got up I was asleep! was then waking up every few hours from 2. at 5.40 I gave up and started reading.

It's miserable here raining and a dull grey. at least the rain mean the cars had defrosted themselves though.

Today I have a mountain of work to get through but no motivation, morale is about a hit rock bottom again soon. Need to find time and job hunt.

Grey and wet here too. I really need new shoes. I took them off when I got to work so my socks could dry.

Sounds good Emma. How come your moving to Wales? To be closer to family?

Elinor I would definitely get some new ones. Cold wet feet is not what you want at all!

Just had a text of my mom to see if I want to go to lunch :) will meet her at a warehouse local to work where there's a really nice café both of us get a drink and cottage pie for just over £5 and its delicious! Can't wait. Will be good to have a catch up with her. Leaving in about 10 mins

At least you will have a more permanent base for the 12 years gives you some stability.

Its been like that all week. I'm glad she text me because I haven't been having lunch until 1.30 - 2 all this week and last week.

Afternoon all

Slightly peeved off today. My daughter went round to my son's house this morning so his girlfriend could do her nails. I text my daughter and said to tell her that they could pop round after. My daughter said that she had a driving lesson, so I assumed she was going to stay there and look after Freddie whilst she had her driving lesson. Anyhoo, she came back round home, I said where is Freddie going then? She said down to J's mum. Upset me a little as on Sunday we got him loads of stuff, so I sent her a pic of it all. She asked if it was for his birthday and I said no, just because we can, so she said she would pop round later that afternoon. One of the girls text her and she said she was at her mums all day. Sometimes I can go a week or more without seeing him, but her mum gets to see him most days. Just a little upset by it all as its not like we do nothing for any of them,

Anyhoo, sat indoors watching Spider-Man as its on one of the movie channels, all three movies one after another,

I found out last night that when my daughter had her friends round in Sunday night, one of them broke the television which happens to be my other daughter's television. Slightly annoyed about it as everyone kept it quiet and did not tell me, until my youngest piped up and said oh did you hear what happened To my tv. It's only a flat screen 19 or 21 inch so I would be pointless putting in a claim on the household insurance, now her mum is saying she will buy her a new one. I said at the end of the day it was my daughter's fault as well as she had it in a stupid place.

That's it. Like I said, the excess on the insurance would be more than the television so pointless claiming for it

Oh no emm, I gave them all details last year, they kept paying me, only to tell me now we have been overpaid! Does my head in.

It's annoying, as last year when I gave them the details for renewal, th carried on paying, I thought it was right, only to find out months later nope! Yet it's my fault.

Had such a chilled day spending it with the kids doing not a lot, just having snuggles here and there and watching television.

Very much doubt it, they will find some excuse to get out of it, but I agree with you, if they had to do that, they'd sort it out quickly
