I'm trying to make some tomato and onion foccacia. Not sure if dough is proving very well though. Been proving for 30 mins and not grown much but it's supposed to double in size. I've never really been good at baking bread not that I've done much. Got it sitting by a very warm radiator. Hmmmmmmmm. Hoping for a nice lunch.
First load of laundry hung. Second load on and now have a nice empty laundry basket.

Yeah dough takes an hour or longer to prove if colder

Turned out ok in the end but not as oiky as usual foccacia which I guess isn't a bad thing. Hubby really liked it but he does like bread.

Evening all
Had such a busy day. On Sunday's there is only two community midwives working. Seeing as one had been out most of the night she could not work so I done it all. It involved going more or less everywhere on the island. In total I drove 90 miles, which does not sound much but it's only 26 miles by 13 miles. Thought I had finished for the day and had to go and see the other home birth that was brewing. Still early so came home, was freezing and ached with tiredness, had a bath and now chilling
