Wedding Forum - GENERAL CHINWAG THREAD w/c 13th June 2016...

Had to make some extra invited today because we've invited more people than first expected.

Went to w1lk0s yesterday for more glue and they didn't have the expensive stuff I've been using so I looked for alternatives and there it was- the old school glue pens that me and mil were longing for when we were making the invites back in january! Proud of punch sat there 2 for 75p rather than the £5 I've been paying for an expensive alternative that isn't as great.
It's the liquid glue pens that have the spongey top so you can be really precise with the liquid glue like a glue stick but it sticks so much better and doesn't come apart - they definitely weren't selling it when we wanted it, so frustrating. It now means that the people at the bottom of our guest lists are getting the best invites! Pfff.

Invites are the first picture then my order of service the second.. All done just waiting for the last few printed pages from mum then they'll be done and one less thing to worry about!!

Online shopping is dangerous! Just spent £86 on a new saute pan, bath mat and pedestel mat and cooking tongs. All stuff for the home but still ............................I should not be allowed to have a credit card!

Thinking I should get the bolognese sauce on .....................want to make it tonight for dinner tomorrow so I don't have to cook much when I get home and can just watch the last England group match. Once that is going I can then get dinner tonight on ..............no idea what I want for dinner tonight though. Making steak for hubby I think but don't know what I fancy from everything I have in the fridge.

Has anyone been to Cancun? Is it really clubby? Like the US equivalent of what Ibiza is to us Brits? Or is there culture and good sight seeing available too?

Brought myself to bed. OH is being a d1ck so left him to sort LO out. I made tea, LO said I don't want that. Told him not making different meals. Still moaning so put mashed potato in a bowl so he said yes he wanted it. Then it's too hot so I cool if down, then he wants it warming back up. Doesn't want a spoon he wants a fork. This is all whilst I'm trying to eat my own tea. So I said I'm not doing anything else and OH kicked off.

OH just text asking if I think we are going to last...

I just sent him one back saying we've been through so much sh!t in 7 years and he says this now. I told him we've got 7 weeks to go until we get married, we don't know if we've got a reception venue yet if we haven't then we've got less than 7 weeks to find something, catering the lot. I said the whole of the planning of this wedding has been a nightmare from families to suppliers letting us down. I've had a permanent headache for the past month, feel stressed with it all, LO being a pain and now this.

Just had a cry. So fed up

Mmw2b sorry to hear :( what's brought this on? Just his family being idiots over the venue or have you been having problems together .. Seems a bit out of the blue!!
