Afternoon ladies

Went and had nails done this morning and nipped in to town. Went to in laws on the way back then picked LO up

Been raining on and off all day here

Evening all

Nights started last night, we had a lead mw in as well so had to do the breaks properly and not like we used to do, we are no longer allowed to go off to bed for a few hours and instead need to sit for an hour awake, I did doze off though, but got home and was so tired, could hardly eat. Slept well though and thank god for slow cookers. Put a chilli in it this morning and left some jackets in the oven for my daughter to put on and she did so dinner almost done.

Ooooh bonus Michelle.... I could quite easily eat a pizza to myself right now!!

I need to do my DVD which I am all dressed for but just CBA!!

It's muggy here today and just need air!

Our conservatory has leaked. The rain was so heavy the guttering couldn't hack it so ive had to mop it all up. The mop bucket was full

Or bed even! Not a good start to a night shift is it?

Urgh...DVD done!!! It was hard and I'm hot but I've done it.

Bath and bed soon for me xx

Can't believe how many people's days have been or are so close they felt like so long ago!

When it rains it pours for us, just settled into our new house, the place my Granda called home for over 40 years, moving in felt strange but it felt like home straight away, his photo on our fireplace watches over me one very day whilst in working with his gentle smile reminding me he's always with us. Some days it feels like he was never really here and that his existence never really happened because it was so sudden from healthy to dead. I miss him like mad if only I could bring him back. We've invited his best friend to our wedding with his wife who has dementia and he was over the moon and can't wait to be part of our day but I can't imagine the day without grandad being by my side.

Our dog also developed a lump on his lip three weeks ago, we thought he'd just bitten it at first but the lump has grown and he's been really off the last few days, I took him to the vets on Saturday and they're operating on Friday to remove the lump and send it for a biopsy, she told me to try not to worry but if it is cancer I cant cope with loosing my little boy as well :(

I hope so EC I can't face any more bad luck at the moment but then If it is just a silly lump like that I'll feel guilty for putting him through an op for no reason, better than the alternative and it being cancer and us leaving it to spread. It's his behaviour changes that have scared me the most. After my granda I love my dogs to the moon.

Have a feeling mum has some more bad news to come my way as she asked what time I was back home from being in glasgow for work. That's never good news.

How's your lo doing EC? My bms new arrival due in August is the only thing keeping me going atm!

Another wet day here Nr Notts....

OH isn't a happy bunny, he's on a site climbing scaffolding over the Thames in the rain....

He sounds really down at the minute, hates being away from home, tired, wet and cold!!

I've told him I'll look for a job away from home and he can come back, work locally, less pay, sort school, kids, the house, on his own and sort the wedding?! He didn't seem to forthcoming lol..... I wonder why?!

Haha Emm! I wonder why he didn't jump at that chance, it sounds so exciting! lol It's funny how these men moan, but quickly change their attitude when challenged with what we have to do everyday!

So hungry when I got in I just ate four bits of toast. Had two, then thought now not good enough. Now to head off up the wooden hill to Bedfordshire.

Becci, I hope you're dog is ok. I feel the same about my Nan, but I'm lucky enough to still have her here. She brought me up and I love her so much for that. She's 91 now and getting more fragile, which is why we decided to get married within the year. I couldn't imagine doing it without her :(

Danielle, my daughter is autistic too. While getting ready for school yesterday she was convinced that a murderer was waiting for her in the kitchen and she wouldn't get off the sofa. She went rigid and wouldn't budge! When she gets like that it's so difficult to talk any sense into her. Then she told me it was my fault she would be late for school!

Possibly Susan! I feel a lot better now anyway, but didn't feel good on my drive into work at all.

Flossie - I felt like that a few days before my wedding but think it was just nerves as it never seemed to turn into anything. Fingers crossed it's the same with you.

EC - he's just adorable and I am glad to hear you've had a better few days.

Becci - fingers crossed for you that it's nothing serious with you boy.

Emma - wonder why he didn't take up the offer? lol

Michelle - I was watching that on the news too, it's so awful and I just hope there is a good ending, but I am doubtful unfortunately. It's so sad xx

Boss emailed me asking for amendments to a presentation. Had to call him and tell him that its not logical to do what he asked for. He didn't understand at first but finally realised what he had missed...

Morning ladies, lovely and sunny here again today finally! Spending the day looking for jobs and preparing for my interview on Friday, it's with the same company I had an interview with last month so I'm hoping this means I've got a really good chance! Still doing a bit of preparing though!

Just been to pay off the final deposit for the house. So sad seeing all that money go but it will be worth it on Friday!

Thats our next job after the wedding.... clean up and repair our existing house and then look for a family long term home!

We will start saving for a deposit on a mortgage then too

We move on Friday Emma. So thankful my parents allowed us to stay at home so that we could save for the deposit. Has made it a lot easier.

I had salad with mexican bean rice for lunch, it was lush!!!!

Aaaaah well at least its on Friday though i can imagine its been an anxious wait for you?!

Had our factory manager put my car on the fault code reader and its showing my lambda sensor is failing so a less expensive job than i imagined..... Though im concerned that hes saying the front sensor whereas i think its the rear but either way, its still cheaper than it being my full exhaust system.

Feeling a bit niggled today too but not sure why?? I have a heavy feeling over me like something bad is going to happen or something is subconciously bothering me but i dont know what!
