Must be the kettle, I drink lots of water by itself throughout the day and it's always tasted fine to me. Coffee really wasn't very pleasant though lol, was quite disappointing!

Not sure what dinner will be like. Last week my son got quorn chicken bits thinking they were chicken for his cooking at school, so made a curry up with them along with mange tout, peppers, onions and mushrooms.

Well, that's court out of the way for now..... It got adjourned for 8 weeks but she turned up with a funded solicitor (not legal aid) who knew nothing about the report that was done 2 weeks ago!! His ex never looked up at any of us and when OH went in, he was very calm and said his bit when asked and his ex just hung her head embarrassed...... I don't think she realises what damage her lies could do. Anyway, they have got to attend (separately) a parenting support programme, it's free so no loss, and when back at court in September his solicitor will attend and hopefully we will have a result for contact.

OH came out beaming and soooo positive. He couldn't believe how spiteful and nasty she has been and yet she hung her head in shame and embarrassment today.

We know it's far from over but it's a positive start for us. I'm so proud of him

Aww that's brill Emma. If she didn't stop your OH from seeing his kids then she wouldn't of had to hang her head in shame...silly woman! Really hope you and your O.h get the result you deserve x

Thanks ladies...... I hate confrontation and my fear was her having a go at me, but she never even raised her head when she walked past. Oh well, that's the worst bit over. We have to have some reports done where CAFCASS come to the house to check it's a suitable family home and then maybe they will talk to OHs son but cos he's only 3 they might not. It's just routine to get an idea of his emotional state really and I have no doubts whatsoever about the home check. We have a healthy happy 8 yr old living here x

Emm, result. I'm glad she hung her head in shame, let's hope the rest of the court see that as well. Seems we both had a result today really.

Dinner was nice, the quorn chicken bits were nicer than actual chicken. Had that, asked the kids to get the laundry in whilst I went for a lay down on the bed, managed to get about half an hour, got up, laundry still out, showered, changed, got laundry in now sat with cuppa. Hope tonight is good to me, my stomach is in agony with stupid Aunt Flo.

At work now had enough already haha! hopefully just the usually first night mood and will be better tomorrow x Have a good evening everyone x

Morning folks.....

Slept ok last night.... I was I bed for 8.50 and OH woke me at 3am when he went to Reading.

Today will be a busy one at work and I'm at the doctors at 5.30 and then I need to clean up as the landlord is fitting a new bath tomorrow!!

He says it's a steel bath so I really am hoping its white and not stainless steel..... It would look a little odd but hey ho. He has also dropped an amended tenancy agreement round with a clause amendment relating to the bath lol..... I find it quite funny as that just screams to me that I had him over a barrel and he didn't have a leg to stand on!!

Morning all

So so so tired. Busy busy busy night, one mw who stayed on to deliver her friend called round for me to help and do the placenta as she was tired and needed to catch up on her notes. Went and got it, finished the computer work for her so she could go, sent her round to the ward, then had to go straight back round with a youngster, so ended up delivering her baby and then finished e erything in time for the day staff to take her round. Now awaiting all children to go to school so I can pass out

One nighter are horrid as you don't get any sleep before hand, or much after, so tonight when I go to bed I would have been up since 7am yesterday morning.

Oh dear GF I don't know how you do it x

I'm desperate for some time off, just so tired, need a break doing nothing. Spa break would be perfect

Waiting for hubby to get all set up in his new job so he can book some time off although I fancy just booking to go away for the August Bank holiday weekend but it'll be expensive.

OH is trying to get next Friday off so we can take LO to the seaside for the weekend. I need a break :(

I reckon my OH would love the spa, he's a bit 'feminine' in that respect haha.

I'd like to go to the beach next week too if the weather is nice, would be nice to take the dog as he loves the beach but then we are limited as to what we can do there with a dog in tow. Plus we'd only be allowed on a certain part of the beach! OH wants to go to Paignton zoo also xx

Emma, that's great news about court. So glad it went in your favour and she was so ashamed.

OH bought me a spa day for Christmas a few years ago and it was the worst day ever. The staff were horrible. We had booked extra massages via email but they cancelled last minute. No explanation, barely a sorry. Even the woman serving tea at the café was horrid. Put in a formal complaint but that didn't go anywhere really..
