I wrote to quite a few teams some just sent back standard driver cards but a couple replied!
This was the letter i got back from Sir Frank Williams:
Dear Sean,
Your new wife recently wrote to me asking if i could write something to mark the occasion of your wedding as i understand you are a fan of our team. Firstly i would like to express my sincere congratulations on getting married to Rebecca today. Personally I count myself as someone that has quite a considerable amount of experience of marriage, having been married to my much loved and sadly recently departed wife ginny for 36 years. If i may, I would therefore like to impart some advice... Ive come to learn that in the fast paced world of formula one, it is important that you have a strong team around you that you trust and support. In this sense a Formula one team is comparable to marriage. Our success as a racing team is dependent upon the strength, commitment and dedication of each individual that makes up the team and the same theory can be applied to marriage. Williams has been lucky enough to enjoy some fortune over the years, wholly thanks to the people that have worked for me. I hope that your marriage brings you similar success based on what is no doubt a strong partnership between you and your wife.
Please accept my very best wishes for a happy and prosperous life together from myself and everyone at williams.

I had tears in my eyes from that letter!! How lovely!! I've written mine all up and found most of the addresses I want, hope I have some success! Would you recommend I hand write them to be more personal and that I out more effort in, or would a printed one be ok do you think? (I have semi near handwriting lol) x

I just thought id let you know of the success I have had so far! I've received an autographed picture from lewis Hamilton and a personal letter from Frank Williams (as Becki did above!) talking about how he made his marriage successful, some words of advice for H2B and to me! It's so lovely and uses both our names throughout so feels really personal, I cried reading it and now I just can't wait to give it to h2b at the wedding breakfast!!!!! Xx
I'm trying to get a discount on a train driving experience for my H2B. He's a member at the museum where we're having our reception and if you don't ask you don't get! :o)

How long did it take for you ladies to get replies? I'm well aware it's the f1 season now, but I sent off 3 letters last week, so wondered how long it would take for them to get to where they need to be and back again?

I sent mine about a month ago, hamilton wrote back within a week (well that was just 2 signed pictures), Frank Williams' came back 2 weeks ago and Mclaren just sent signed pictures and a personal letter from the team on behalf of Jenson yesterday!

Oh wow I cant believe some of the luck you girls have had, Becki your reply is brilliant! OH isnt much of an F1 fan but is for golf so may try my luck there or Michael Buble hah!

Yeah to be fair they must get hundreds, its an honour to receive something! Hubby cried when he opened them! I put them on his chair in the reception and he was speechless! :D xx

I got a reply from one of the teams - h2b will be so excited!! I got him a few fake cards from well-wishers, such as characters from his favourite tv shows/films (courtesy of a website for a lunar porcine) for them to be read out by the best man, then to be followed by the F1 letters, which will be real!! :-)
