It depends what you want. Personally I would decide when the right time for you was to get married-as if you wait around for your little girls to be walking, would you then decide to wait until they were a bit older so that they are going to know what's happening... and then wait for them to be older so they're better behaved and not getting bored?

It's completely up to you, but I would just look at when you can afford to get married and when you want to get married.

That would be lovely but it all depends how long you want to wait before your big day

We got engaged when our little boy was 4 months old. We both said we'd like him to be a part of our day and know what the day is for. He will have just turned 3 when we get married and will carry our rings down the aisle.
They can still be flower girls at a young age. Could your bridesmaids carry them if you got married before they could walk? X

maybe work out what you want for your wedding and also if you need to save first. You might look around and actually find a venue and decide to get married in 18 months naturally thinking about saving and planning times etc. By that point your little ones will be walking and look very cute anyway. you just need to work out what you want xx

It is down to what you want, and I suppose budget come into to on how quickly you can save up.

I personally wanted my daughter to be old enough to be able to take a active roll, and understand, and hopefuly have some of her own memory's of the day. She will be 3 & 1\2 towards 4

i would let them be walking, they will look so cute toddling down the isle, but totally up to you what you want, my children are much older at 9 and 11 and im really happy they are part of the day and can be there with us, with an understanding of what we are doing and they will be able to remember there parents wedding day, so depending on how long you want to wait.

It depends what you want, plus you need to remember babies develop at their own rate so if you book your wedding for 12 months time there is no guarantee they will be on their feet (it is very likely but I know lo's that haven't started to walk until they were almost 2) and you don't want to push them because you have a "time limit". Also to remember once they discover the freedom of waking their a bit of a nightmare to control, my little girl has been walking since she was 10 months (she's 2 next month) and there's no way I could expect her to do as she's asked and walk down the aisle atm, she would be far too distracted by everyone around her and wanting to play with every one! Do you have a date in mind or are you fully flexible?

My cousin got married when his little ones were only 6months and they were only in one photo!! So personally I'd want my little ones to be older so they can be part of the day and not have to be held in photos, plus you need to think about who will look after them for the day when you are doing bride n groom things so need to think what age would be best for that, my youngest will be 2 for ours. I would personally wait until they are walking as it would be lovely for them to be a part of your day :) and also just be old enough in general so that they're not totally relying on you and wanting you 24/7 as that would be a pain on the day x

that's a good comment, a friend of mine had her just 2 year old girl as flywheel, and she was very clingy all day with her mum which meant my friend could not enjoy it as much. Grandparents were to put her daughter to bed at like 7 but we're like she's fine even tho she was obviously overtired and overwhelmed and ended up getting upset and in a state which in turn obviously upset my friend.

It's totally up to you as the ladies said. But I've seen that planning a wedding can take tiiiime, so I think your girls will be old enough to be your flower girls. I'm planning on having h2b nieces, and one of them will be about 18 months old :)

As others have said it's entirely up to you.

One of my friends was in the exact same position as you. They decided to marry and just had the twins in the photos. So cute!

It's up to you and what you want. Most weddings take a couple of years to organise so they would be walking by then.
