I went to my first bridal shop yesterday and tried on different styles and to my shock i liked something i thought wouldnt suit my shape. Im now stuck as i like two styles of dresses and cant seem to pick one style over another! I felt great in both styles so that doesnt help me! Need opinions of what looks better on from these pictures. I love how the fitted ones pull me in yet i felt like a princess in the other! Confused!!!

Dress 1 is beautiful,it's a style I would go for personally, although I understand the reason you like the other 2, you need to ask yourself what did you feel more like a bride in? Which one could you see yourself in for your wedding day? And do a sit down test if you can move dance etc and still feel comfortable etc... I'm sure whichever you choose you will look beautiful :) xx

Like Toni said it'll be what makes you feel more like a bride. I tried on a fishtail lace number which was absolutely stunning and I felt a million dollars in it but I also felt more like I should be on the red carpet at a film premiere rather than as a bride, it was my gorgeous princess dress that made me feel like a bride x

Thanks all. I will be going along to other shops as i didnt get a wow feeling from the dresses i picked from this bridal shop. There were elements of each dress i loved but know i know what styles i can focus on finding one. I did feel like a bride in the first one and would be more practical! Sitting and dancing for instance as it was quite floaty on the bottom. The fitted ones i like but they are quite plain i want some sort of detailing to the back. God knows how id sit or go to the loo if its that tight lol!

Dress 1 is stunning. I also never thought I would like fitted but tried a couple and was pleasantly surprised. Only thing I'd say is do the photo test. In the shop mirror they looked great on me but in the photos I could see the bits of me I'd rather hide. Particularly my belly. Dress 2 highlights that area whereas dress 3 totally flatters and looks beautiful on you. Hope you find the one ;)

Laura - Im glad my sister took pictures as there was one i loved but i didnt see the price before i tried it on and it was way over budget!! Looked back at the pictures and it looks awful on me! Yet in person i loved it! 1 and 3 are also my favourites :-) xx

Personally I would go for number 1, but I'm not such a fan of the more fitted styles, so there is an element of personal taste in there. You look great in all of them.

I think the fitted one on you looks amazing. Entirely up to you though. You need to feel like a bride and be 100% comfortable on the day. Try a few more of both on and ask the shop if you can leave them on for a while to see how you feel in them. try sitting etc.

Yes stephanie it is that designer. Each time i look back at the photos im loving it! I dont think my guests would even expect me in a fitted number as im a curvy girl. I think i may go back and try it on again with my mum there as she was unable to come.

That's exactly how I feel about mine Leanne. I think most people would expect me to wear a princess type dress, so I hope a lot of people are surprised when they see my dress is a fitted dress :-) it does flatter your curves beautifully. If you've got it - flaunt it!!! Dress 1 is absolutely gorgeous but I feel your figure gets lost in it xx

I tried dresses on at the weekend and had the exact same problem! Please tell me what you decide and how! The princess dress is not what I would pick in the slightest bit I absolutely loved it and can't get it out of my head yet the fitted dress is what I am looking for and would continue to look for if I didn't stop now and buy the princess one! Confused!

Ive picked one!!! I had that feeling when i tried it on and didnt want to take it off!!! Its fitted too... My mum came to this appointment and i asked her and my sisters to pick a dress each for me to try. I also picked one... My mums choice was amazing!!! You cant see the detail on the pics but i wanted pearls on my dress with little 'bling' as we are having a vintage theme. Here it is... I was unable to take pics as i was so chuffed and forgot as i felt amazing!

Aw thanks steph! I want to shock guests and my oh! My oh thinks ill be wearing a princess dress lol! My guests will probs be thinking a fuller dress too. As said above im not a skinny minnie but try everything on as i was suprised! This gown has the fitted feel above but a fullish dress below (i had a hoop on so made a massive difference) xx
