Ladies, I'm in desperate need! I have found this dress I am completely in love with! However, I can't seem to find it in shops!! Ahhhh! I don't really want to get it made incase I don't like it on. I feel like my head is going to explode. Do I stay safe and go for a dress thats in a shoo near me, wait a while to see if I can get it later in the year or next year or risk getting it made? So confused help pleaseeee xx

Also I am guessing as you cannot find it, it's online you have found it and not tried it on?
Whats the designer of the dress? You may want to try contacting them and finding out what retailers stock them. Then contact those retailers and ask if they have the specific dress name/ID in stock. eg Alfred Angelo 238 (sleeping beauty).
If it is from a few seasons ago you may have to consider something else or finding a pre-owned dress. You might be lucky and find one that was never worn due to change of mind or circumstances. If its not designer then you may have to get it made or choose something different.

I've found the designer on facebook & asked where I can get the dress. I don't mind buying from a different country then having it altered ect here coz then I can send it back. However, I don't want to get it specifically made if the style ect don't suit me. Fingers crossed i can get it hope soo. Thank you all xx

It's worth checking local bridal stores to see if they can get it in, or something in a very similar style in order for you to see if that style suits you

I would go to some shops and try on dresses same shape n style to see if you like the style and if u do then order the dress. I went into dress shopping thinking I wanted one style but ended up buying complete opposite x

You may find you hate that style on you. It's amazing how different dresses look on compared to the model.

I've tried this dress on. It was my mums that I was thinking about wearing, have always loved the princess type dress. Never liked any other. Heres a pic of me in my mums dress, excuse the state of me lol.

Only thing I would say to that GeorginaD78 is we all have an image in our minds on what we want for a wedding dress and a lot of us think we would not choose anything else. I would strongly advise not dismissing other styles as you may find yourself very pleasantly shocked and surprised. I know I was! I didn't even plan on wearing white or ivory.. I wanted to wear red and I was dead set on it.. now... im wearing ivory.
