I want hot pink maxi dresses but can't really afford bridal shop prices and can't agree on anything just feeling so disheartened I've spent all day traipsing round with my BM's who are amazing and will wear anything I put on them but I just didn't like anything I know I have ages but would like them bought before Xmas any help appreciated ladies xxxx

Hi Laura, where have you looked? Is it the sort of shop that do event days with discounts perhaps? I know its probably a slippery slope but some shops do account cards where you get a discount on opening it, if you pay it off before end of the first month there would be no interest, would this put them into affordable bracket? I know some people say its a bit wrong to do so, but you say your BM are amazing, whats the chances of being honest with them, you really want them to wear this but you cant quite stretch to the full amount and would there be anyway of them contributing the difference? Also check out the Bay of E - they do some good maxi bridesmaid dresses hope this helps in someway x

I have looked at the bay if E one if my bridesmaids is nearly 6 ft so would need custom made Which shops were you thinking with account cards can post on my wall? X

You probably have already looked but have you tried Searching the google shopping tab? They show anything matching your description from shops so you can see what's out there.... Just a thought. You sometimes find things in the most unlikely shops

I'm getting married in 14 months too, I'm getting remeasured for my dress in december and thats when it'll get ordered so I want my bridesmaid dresses chosen by then too. Theres plenty of time before then though so I would hold off until the summer when the new stock comes in and you might find something you like then :) If its anything like last summer the high street shops will get lots of maxi dresses in. Also some of the bridal shops like berketex bride have sales which include bridesmaid dresses and I think they also have outlet shops where some of the dresses are cheaper. xxx

In the next few months leading up to summer there's likely be lots of pink around. I would maybe try please like R!v3r I$land, h@us of fra$er, deb's. Also catalogues, nXt, v3ry etc x
