A while ago I had a dilemma about my top table. I think I managed to sort that by having my h2b mom step dad my dad a d CBM on one side and fofg and his partner with the best man the other side.

Ask her to be civil either him for one day for yours and OHs sake. They are his parents at the end of the day.

Why can't people just put the bride and groom first for one day and stop being so selfish. Just one day ..............

My family hate each other but luckily they will be civil for my sake. I really feel for you. Personally I would tell my mil that if she can not be civil for her son's sake and the sake of the odd the photo then she needs to grow up, but that's just me. I tell people exactly as it is (it often gets me into trouble lol). Hope they don't spoil your big day for you and you h2b hun.

Hey I feel for you- just give the photographer a list of the photos you want and then hopefully they will feel like they can't not have a photo together- all as they need to do is stand and smile!

I really don't get how a wedding brings out the worst in people, but it does! I

Sorry but this pi5535 me off. I know I posted before but to explain my situation
OH parents aren't speaking to his nan and aunt (dad sister). His dad has said that he won't go to his own moms funeral and never wants to see her again. His other grandparents seriously slated his aunt (nans daughters sister in law so not related to this nan) saying she deserved a stay in hospital etc. I walked out the room without comment. I have no issues with anyone but I think that caused upset!!
I have asked everyone to not speak to each other for the day. Making it clear I don't expect it. The cousin (son of aunt and grandson of nan) is our usher for goodness sake!
The nana d cousin have said clearly they will be coming but not heard from the aunt if she says she won't because of the upset I will ask her why OH should be punished for an argument that has nothing to do with him.
I expect them to put it all to one side for him, for us, for our wedding day. We will both be upset if they aren't there. His nab has recently been in hospital his aunt at the same time so care has fallen to us so i am hoping that his aunt will rsvp because have become a lot closer over the last month.

We potentially weren't having OH nan aunt usher/ cousin and 2 younger cousins at our wedding. But I am hoping to turn that around by telling people we don't expect them to speak to each other.

I hope that explains my blunt comment before xx
